🎆🎊🍾 Happy New Year From the Whole Nesbitt Fam (with Goths, Gordons, Bells, and a Landgraab, too!) 🎇🎉🗓️

I was going to let this post tomorrow, but I kept thinking that's just too late. So this morning was for plot and this afternoon is for pretending the Nesbitts got together for a family portrait on their lawn at midnight on New Year's Eve.

That's the whole main legacy family in one place to ring in the coming year!

Also, it took three decades but I finally picked a couple name for Daisy and Neal. Happy New Year to Neasy and fam, but mostly to you reading this right now! 🎊🍾

I loaded up the game at night and didn't want to wait for morning. Then I struggled for many hours getting this to look even half decent, trying to keep them posed and waiting for them not to all be breathing steam. Finally I got 16 of 17 sims to pose and Heather to stand somewhat as if she's part of the whole thing, so I'm very happy to call this a day night in celebration of founders Daisy and Neal and all they've built together after 32 years of marriage.

This is by far the most sims I've posed yet so I'm ringing in the New Year with a new challenge for myself. Despite the poor choice of setting and lighting I'm very happy with it - especially since it took three poses in one to get done.

I mainly used @goldoradove's excellent Happy Family pose for 19 sims. But Tetra could not be found among the feet beneath the sofa so I switched tactics and posed her and Heather with BommieSims' Children's Day posepack (only Tetra stayed put), which I can't actually find to link anymore. If anyone knows where to find it, let me know! And Ash was posed with @somneasims' Our Legacy posepack, which I really like a lot - I also used it for Bella and her fam's cozy Winterfest portrait. Even Heather, who isn't looking at the camera, at least looks engaged in the moment enough (watching Tetra balance on her dad's arm when she should be holding her?!) for me to say I'm happy.

Daisy, Neal, his brother Karl, all four kids and six grandkids, plus son-in-law Kris Bell, daughter-in-law Cassandra, future son-in-law Conrad Gordon, and Karl's husband, Mortimer Goth (he's also Cass' dad and Michael and Sammy's granddad; since they missed out on Bella's Winterfest portrait I definitely had to include them now.)

Thank you for a great first half-year on Simblr. I love this place and all your creativity so much. Here's to 2025 and whatever madness this game we all love throws our way!

Lenora leaned into Erriox’s embrace as they watched the massive fireworks display put on by the collaboration between the different legion bases and baseline businesses in town. Erriox assisted with the setup of the display, but he wasn’t needed for setting it off. He would’ve liked to set off the colourful explosives, but having the evening off meant that he could spend more time with his bonded human, Lenora. He wasn’t about to argue that.

This celebration was to ring in a new year, in some ways to also celebrate surviving the previous year. Erriox couldn’t recall if he had done anything like that back in his time to celebrate just plain surviving to the next week if not the next day. The odd passing fist bump or clap on the shoulder or back, maybe. Being here on Ancient Terra with so many celebratory holidays, he could learn to appreciate it, especially with Lenora by his side. Erriox knew some of his battle brothers certainly did, especially when they found out what fireworks were about.

The fireworks formed numbers as the seconds counted down to midnight.

He looked at Lenora bathed in the glow of colours lighting up the sky. Pulling her up against his chest plate, he leaned his forehead against hers, a rumbling purr escaping when she nuzzled him.

Lenora looked at him with a loving smile on her face. Erriox smiled back, he would never stop appreciating her smiles, her laughs, her grins, her gestures of affection. All for so little of what he could do. All only for him.

“May the new year be sweet, just like you.” Lenora said. The Iron Warrior heard her under the thundering bursts of fireworks. He laughed earnestly at her words and tenderly caressed her cheek.

Erriox kissed her, deeply, passionately, trying to convey what he couldn’t say in words.

“Happy New Year, Lenora.” He murmured.

It's New Year's Eve so there are gonna be fireworks 🎆 Petey is terrified of them so she's in her thundercoat, which calms her down by acting like she's getting a really big hug and reducing her blood pressure. I'm also gonna give her hydroxyzine, which the doctor assures me is safe for my dog. If you don't have that, benadryl works just as well. When it's almost midnight and they are going crazy blowing things up, I'm going to give her some melatonin, which is also safe for dogs and works better than anything that I've ever used to help her her through all the noise. I'm sharing this with anyone who has a pet that gets scared when there are fireworks or thunderstorms. All these things work much better than CBD chews. You can find it the dosages online using the weight of your pet. I hope that this helps your pets get through the holiday and helps you to relax and be able to enjoy the festivities!!

Okay. I think I’m going to actually make a list of characters I’ve done headcanons for because I should really keep track of them! A nice side project/unofficial goal for me to work on!😊

That said, let’s see what I can create for Samson Drake!

Even though he could not attend and graduate college, Samson vowed to make education accessible for everyone. He is an educated man (mostly self-educated) and knows the value of people having a formal education from a young age, so he strives for everyone to have the opportunity to pursue education at every level

He has been an avid hunter since he was young, and his father taught him everything he knew

After being diagnosed with diabetes, Samson made a drastic change to his lifestyle to ensure he would stay in his healthiest possible state. Even though less was known about how to manage diabetes when Samson lived, he still learned what he could about his condition and cut out or limited things that would damage his health while introducing new, helpful things to his lifestyle

He found a love of reading after getting his library card as a child. Samson would spend hours in the library reading every book he could get his hands on, even those above his reading level. Samson felt happiest surrounded by books and always left the library with at least two books to add to his reading list! (He also always returned his books on time, no matter how much he wanted to keep them for longer)

You know, I always wondered why Samson went after Archie when his beef was with Malcolm… He probably thought it would be easier to kill Archie and that it would affect Malcolm, but unfortunately, Samson was very wrong with that assumption!

HAPPY NEW YEARS Daily Hobie HC! Requested by one of my friends (who has no clue I have a tumblr acc we were just talking about it) You weren't an overly, physically affectionate person, usually opting for light PDA such as holding hands or just a peck on the lips. Despite initially being hesitant of getting into a proper relationship with Hobie, he's been quite understanding of your boundaries. Hobie resorts to other ways to show his affection, usually making little gifts or letting you relax in his makeshift workshop, in a large beanbag chair near the desk. Even though you had thought that the relationship wouldn't last long, you were happy to realize that you were wrong about your thoughts. One morning, Hobie was making breakfast while you were sleeping very peacefully in bed. As he was making pancakes, he hadn't noticed your soft footsteps approaching him from behind. You felt awfully tired, still groggy from waking up and walking around so suddenly. With no hesitation, you wrapped your arms around Hobie, hugging him from the back and burying your face into the back of his shoulder. He couldn't help but spare a fond glance, letting out a small chuckle as he tried to tamp down the giddiness he felt in his stomach from your gesture. Slowly, one of his hands drifted to yours, intertwining his long, lanky fingers with yours warmly, still letting you keep your arms around him for as long as you want. He could tell by your long yawn that you were still just waking up, deciding to bask in the glory of the moment instead of speaking up about the situation, letting you have your time in hugging him like this. -🐦‍⬛

Happy new years/new years eve. I have a general announcement.

I will no longer be counting non canon interactions for this blog. If it doesn't occur in the main series, it will not count here. This means sanders sides incorrect quotes or similar don't count anymore. Frankly, I am debating not counting asides interactions anymore as well.

Also, I may continue this blog through a weekly or monthly count. I.e, counting by weeks instead of months. Less pressure for me to keep up with that way.

My reasoning boils down to, while I have no plans to leave the fandom, I don't wish to have to consume every crumb of sanders sides content Thomas gives us desperately searching for a Prinxiety interaction. I was having fun, but this is becoming less fun.

I also have plans to unfollow Thomas, so there's a fairly good chance I'll miss an interaction and this just makes it easier

Anxiety ran out of the house, forgetting to put on her jacket. She stood in front of, looked up to see the snow falling.

Fear ran after her and, seeing that she was not wearing a jacket, immediately grabbed her sweater and pulled her back into the house. Once they were both dressed in warm jackets, they left the house together.

Anxiety looked up again, then opened mouth to catch the snowflake on tongue.

Fear seeing this,said..

Fear: Did you know that there are bacteria in snow?

Anxiety looked at him and laughed.

Anxiety: but it fell from the sky and landed on my tongue..

Anxiety: besides, since when are you the second Disgust?

Fear: I just don't want you to get sick...snow is cold and full of bacteria, no matter if it touches the ground or not..it still has a lot of bacteria on it..

Saying this, he adjusted her scarf, tightening it more around her neck and smiling fondly

Anxiety smiled, her cheeks turning red.

Anxiety: You are a sweetheart<3 Thank you.

She touched his cheek.

Then she quickly crouched down, made a snowball, threw it at his face and started running away laughing loudly. Fear brushed the snow off his face, laughed and ran after her, the girl was surprisingly faster than him but he managed to catch up with her and grab her jacket.

Anxiety tried to escape from his "clutches", still laughing out loud. The girl was strong, Fear barely managed to hold her, unfortunately not for long, because after a while he lost his balance and they both fell to the ground, landing on a deep snowdrift.

They both continued laughing, but louder..

after a while they became silent...Starting to stare into each other's eyes.

Fear, lying on top of her, moved a strand of hair from her eyes with his hand to be able to look more closely at her eyes.

Anxiety placed hands on his neck.. starting to bring lips to his.. the man also starts to zoom in on face.

and finally their lips met, creating a passionate kiss..

When their tongues were about to meet, the kiss was interrupted by Anger.

The short, red-haired man looked out the open window and then shouted..

Anger:how long are going to kiss??we need extra pairs of hands to help!

he shouted indignantly

Fear and Anxiety embarrassedly replied that they were already on their way back, then they both stood up, dusted themselves off, and entered the house.
