there was an anxious feeling inside ali as they waited for jordyn to show up. her hands were itching and she couldn’t stop pacing. deep breaths weren't helping. she'd had three cigarettes already. ali was tempted to start drinking, but she knew it was best to stay clear-headed when investigating jigsaw. still, if jordyn wanted to have a few shots and here, ali wouldn't be opposed to that...

ali wasn’t sure why they were so nervous. they'd hung out with jordyn before, but ali still had a panic attacking her mind. maybe because jordyn was the first friend they'd had since...everything. since the jigsaw trap. since they had their best friend turn on them. since ali had to kill their best friend. everytime ali looked at jordyn, all she could see was her friend. she looked down, and there was blood on her hands.

the knock on the door jolted ali. she went over and peered through the blinds, letting out a small breath of relief when she saw jordyn. a part of her was still convinced jigsaw would come back for her one day. for being a fucking killer. for not appreciating her shitty life that he had messed up.

before she could chicken out, ali unlocked the door and opened it, “hey, hi, hello.” their words came out breathless, rushed, “you're pretty. i mean, you look pretty. uh, i mean, nice outfit.” ali internally face-palmed at that one before gesturing inside her house, toward the beat up and ash stained couch where her laptop was perched upon, “come in. i already have the, uh, website loaded up.”
