America definitely gets shit for having glasses. Like people will just say "you'd be hotter if you didn't have those glasses" without any shame or hesitation.

I bet photographers ask him to remove them to make him look "tougher" and he gets backhanded compliments in interviews.

There's probably even a few brave fools who snatch (or attempt to snatch) away his glasses. These interactions probably end up in a black eye after they are sent flying after they had the brilliant idea of getting in a super-powered immortal's personal space.

But fr I feel like America is always extremely annoyed with these people and always expresses it. His glasses represent Texas! They're an important part of him, and he can't exactly get rid of them. Also he needs them to SEE. The nerve of some people to say/imply he's lesser for having them!

Same logic applies to Canada, but he's not as vocal about his annoyance. He'll either awkwardly laugh it off or be passive-aggressive because he doesn't want to start a fight. The only time he'll start voicing his opinion is when he's at the end of his patience, and even then he'll just raise his voice before he resumes to whatever he was doing.

Yay, I went on another side quest.

I wanted to draw something that vibed with those song lyrics and I stumbled upon a tutorial for a whimsical scene with a stained glass window.

In the tutorial the procreate drawing assistant was used to create a mandala with random shapes that would become the window, and it looked really pretty. But it didn't feel right to me in the context of my own drawing, I am by no means a history expert but I want to at least maintain the accuracy I am capable of so I did some research on medieval church windows and basically created my own Althred-themed version.

I'm pretty happy with how it came out, especially with the lighting and the colours.

And the bois look so pretty.

Things That I Think Would Happen If Hetalia Characters Were Real IRL

Much like last years "Taylor Swift Counter" Every year at the Super Bowl There would be an "America Counter" And people would keep track how often the announcers & camera crew either mentioned America or Panned over to him doing mundane things. There would also be a Hot Dog Counter where Alfred would hold up a little sign letting everyone know what hot dog he was on getting him screams and cheers the higher the count got.
