A continuation of my pettiness winning over my desperation. And i have serious regrets now as I make myself some soup half asleep at 3am.

Part 1

*AHHHHHhhhh i should have just kissed him. Curse you, pettiness. I wanted it so bad. I am so freakin desperate. But NO ego has other plans.*

ts like 3 30 am. The safest time. The one time when the late sleepers are asleep and the early risers are asleep too. And as everyone was celebrating our recent win either they were drunk asleep or wounded and dead asleep, the whole ship was super quite.

I sigh.... a lot, as i heat up some water in kitchen to make myself some cup soup.( i hoarded a lot of those from the latest island. How was i even alive without them? who knows). I keep replaying the moments from last night. Well barely 4 hours because my eyes wouldn't shut anymore even though i felt like i still needed an eternity worth of sleep. And i was having serious regrets. I could still see his cute freckles, his breath, his touch, his eyes, our closeness.....AHHHHHHH why? why? WHY? did i do that? That was literally a god given chance ( even if i don't believe in them)

" I have no one else to curse but myself. Curse you.... I should've just pounced him while i had the chance. " SIGHHHHHHhhhhh.

I gasp as i hear a sound near my ear and simultaneously arms snake around my waist. ACE .Frick. My hands go to my mouth covering them both in surprise and embarrassment.

He chuckles as he rests his head on my shoulder, too close to my ear for me to be able to pretend that it does not affect me. " Pounce on whom Love?"

The water is almost done, small bubbles slowly appearing at the bottom of the saucepan. My heart beats faster. I blush, wanting to hide the sound of my speeding heart but i am pretty sure its louder than anything in this room. But i try to keep a facade on. I can't be defeated that easily. " You, who else." I say trying to sound nonchalant but i can feel the embarrassment leaking through my words.

One of his hands travels lower to my thigh lightly caressing while the other stays at my waist and he hides his nose in the crook of my neck his breath on my skin, his voice coming out a bit muffled. " Then why don't you? "

I don't answer his questions. My brain overloading from his touches. MY BRAIN IS STILL TOO ASLEEP TO EVEN PROCESS THIS. i don't answer him. Searching my brain desperately for a comeback which does not scream that i am desperate but my ego won't let me beg.

He places a light kiss on my neck which makes me flinch and my eyes widen, " You know i can literally feel you blush, right?"

I have this habit of rubbing my neck whenever i feel embarrassed or shy, but his HEAD IS THERE, so instead i stare at the boiling water, fumbling with the spoon in my hand. I can feel his chest against my back, his hand making innocent circles on the side of my thigh while my brain is filled with anything but innocence " The water is already boiling" He says,....very teasingly. But i don't have enough rational left in me to comprehend.

" huh?" I say like a deer in headlights.

" The water is done. "

" oh...OHH yeah. " I switch off the heat and try my best to come up with something which my usual self would say and the best way to do that is just...................... well...... ramble. ANd i do exactly that trying to take my mind off all his loving touch but fail at it miserably. " Yeah my brain is just asleep right now. I like woke up just a while ago. This is like the time when my rational is like out on a walk somewhere, I get super emotional. And then i say stuff to people and then cringe on it the next day thinking what the frick was i even thinking. Wait, why are you still awake though?"

He rests his chin on my shoulder and looks over at what i am doing as i pour myself some soup in a cup. " Couldn't sleep."........." Are you done? " I mix the soup in my cup and reply thinking, finally i'll get some distance and maybe my brain will reboot. " Yeah I'm done."

As soon i say those words, He twists me around so that i face him, shifts the cup to the side and picks me up and seats me on the counter, his hands on either sides. My eyes wide in surprise at his quickness. He leans closer smiling, *my god BREATH BREATH.* " You know your heart was beating so loud. I would be a fool if i resist anymore even if i want to take it slow and nice." His eyes, focused on my lips, which makes me gulp and i immediately curse my brain bc he 100 % saw that. I subconsciously move back but don't get far as My head touches the upper cabinets and he notices that and smirks. I feel my heart skip which makes me want to clutch my chest to calm myself down , but he is already holding them down against the counter. My eyes close as i feel our nose touch and he takes my lips. The time feels short and even i wouldn't even notice if an eternity passes.His lips are soft. He is gentle, his hands intertwining with mine on the counter. I want to hold onto this feeling, his warmth, his touch, his everything. My first kiss with Ace.

He breaks the kiss and moves his hands away letting mine free and they immediately go to my face as i blush and try to calm my breath down. He chuckles. *ahh soo CHARMING* but he is laughing at me. His hands go to my thighs as he stands between my legs.

" Why are you blushing love? "

" You look adorable."

"I haven't even done anything though......yet."

I roll my eyes smiling but wanting to hit him for teasing me. My attacks against me. WOW, how creative is what i want to say but they are super affective. he tilts his head as he teases and i sit speechless , my mind going haywire from not being able to decide whether i should focus on his hands, his voice, his light blush from the kiss, his lips or his closeness. I feel overwhelmed and aroused. And i just look at him dumbfounded and blushing as he enjoys the current silence and decides to hit me with " Weren't you gonna pounce me ?"

I whine lightly hitting him lightly on his shoulder. " ACEEeee......."

I wrap my legs and arms around him and smash my lips against him. In the way that i imagined countless times laying in my bed at night. Its desperate and needy and he replies back to it with the same desperation. HIs hands snake up to my hair and his thumb caressing my jaw as hums into my lips. He picks me up as if i weigh nothing still ravishing my lips, switches off the kitchen light and walks back to my room holding onto me.

The lights in the kitchen are off, but the sunlight slowly creeps in providing light warmth to the neglected cup and the cold soup within as they sit lonely on the counter beside an empty saucepan, in an empty room......... forgotten.( ahhh poor soup. I wanna have soup too but i drank all of it and then forgot to buy more. AHHHH GIVE ME SOUPP.(┬┬﹏┬┬) )
