Just over three years ago I hated poetry. I actively avoided it to the point where I chose PE over writing poetry...

Then the pandemic happened, and I needed something to keep me sane while stuck inside. And I already liked a few hermits, zed, scar, mumbo

So I decided to try watching another and I was reccomend joe due to my zedaph enjoyment

I have not been the same since

I write poems to help me out of meltdowns I write poems to help me fall asleep I write poems to deal with my chronic pain I write poems just because poem

I have written so many poems that my notesapp lags when I scroll down too fast from the sheer number of poems I have

I adore writing poems, reading poetry, and I have a better appreciation for literature in general

This my friend is the joehills difference

it's so weird being able to sit. and share my opinions w/ someone. and not be attacked by them. like we're just here. having a conversation. we don't agree on everything but it's ok. they don't suddenly hate me. they still like me and want to be my friend. they want to hear where i'm coming from??? to know what's going on in my brain? because they... I'm so proud of bad, he went from being too scared to travel/meet up with his closest friends to speedrunning it and having the time of his life

none of it feels awkward or weird it's just a series of fantastic moments where all the people who love bad so much get to show him and spend time with him
