take season 9, the moment mickey lies down, ian is ON HIM.

take season 10, the moment mickey climbs through the window it’s ‘c’mere’. the moment he says yes to the proposal, it’s making out in front of a room of people and two likely unconscious guys ian just beat up to defend mickey.

take season 11, when all they did was kiss and fuck. ian lit said he wouldn’t have sex until mickey got a job, did it work? no!

they fell just as hard as each other, at the same time. no one fell first, no one fell harder, they just express stuff differently. just because ian doesn’t do HUGE romantic gestures like getting thrown in prison, he still does big gestures and still loves mickey more than anything.

Something that I love about sherliam is that they’re not your conventional ship that you can easily put in situations with out-of-nowhere cheap drama. 

They won’t let you, they are too smart and connected for that, and if you dare to do it, they wouldn’t be the same characters.

Like, Person B sees Person A too close to a girl and misunderstands and gets angry/runs away in tears? Not sherliam. They would know what’s up, the only upsetting thing about it would be that random girl bothering their babe.

Person A lies to Person B saying they don’t love them in order to “protect them”? Not sherliam. They would know the other is lying and any of them wouldn’t even try to do something that dumb in the first place.

Person A feels they don’t deserve Person B and leaves them for Person B to find someone better? Not sherliam. They know they mean each other’s happiness, why would they cause the other such despair?

Person A is too proud and can’t stand recieving things from Person B? Not sherliam.They’re reasonable, they take in consideration the other’s feelings, they would understand and appreciate the other’s efforts, and they’d be happy to recieve any kind of love and worry the other offers.

Ok but can you imagine the horror for Alastor if his little baby just loves Lucifer and just the smug look on Lucifer's face when they call him uncle Luci.

Omg he would be so MAD!! Like one moment Alastor has all his baby's attention and the next Lucifer comes and just snags them away?

The worst part is he can't even be that mad because he wouldn't even have his baby if it wasn't for Lucifer's help. Plus, his wife would kill him if he tried picking a fight with Lucifer again.

So he just has to watch and sulk as Lucifer soaks up all his cute baby's attention, Lucifer flipping him off from behind.
