Actually now that I think about it, there is a twist, it's chimera Falin. I was really surprised when I was reading and the dragon came up so soon, I thought the dragon would be the final boss not the starting point. It's a twist on the story's complexity I guess, I do agree that you might start thinking "It's just a cooking manga" and suddenly you're reading one of the best adventure mangas ever

It's more a twist of expectations? Which I love, I could never have imagined where this story could get from where it started

instead of nightmare approaching horror to recruit him for the gang i think it would be cooler if he talked to undyne about it. because she would not hesitate TWICE to ship horror off to fuck knows where in the multiverse

idk she sends royal guards out to snatch up horror in the middle of the day (nightmare told her to make it dramatic and tense :3) (all of snowdin would probably follow in concern because OMG WHERE IS SANS GOING????) and then yeah. just like that horrors gone! nightmare probably didn't even give him a chance to say bye to paps. undyne never ends up getting the food nightmare promised because hes a bitchass like that (and papyrus probably ends up taking up the full leader role of food provider for snowdin (if undyne even lets snowdin stay out of her control) good luck for him!)

i really do admire how lando tries to not give a fuck (that 'whatever' really saddened me so much) but he actually does, and a lot.

guy doesn't even want anything absurd, he just wants the support of his team for the last fucking 4 races but no... let's just get humiliated for one point on international tv💀.

they're really stretching him thin — and i mean it in a emotional and mental wellbeing way. he is obviously inherently selfless and quite literally does not hold self-esteem, but in the last year we've seen him trying to be more sure of himself and trying to be selfish for once. the moment he does that though, he gets accused of being the spawn of satan. and then the team does everything in the world to make it harder for him.

so i really do admire him, because i literally would PERSONALLY leave the sport after this one season.

Ming's coercive control in My Stand-In (Ep 2)

Everyone knows it now, but Ming isn't really a good person in the series My Stand-In.

First of all, and before saying anything else, I also wanted to say, I don't know anything about psychology and I may make mistakes in this post when using some terms. If you know a better way of saying it, don't hesitate to tell me. I'm still learning everyday.

In this new episode we could see how he is always trying to maintain control in his relationship with Joe.

Bi-phobia hello! As if being bisexual would mean you'll try to get with everybody. Joe was just being nice to the actress because he wanted to help her, as he is a nice guy.

When Joe reassured him about his preference for men, he found another tactic to make him feel like he was too charming with another man who Joe is close too.

A little bit of guilt trip, even though, Joe did nothing and can't be responsible for Sol being in love with him. He never did anything that would suggest he would have spend the night with him. However, Ming didn't like that Joe didn't give him full attention, for one night.

Then, he used verbal abuse to belittle Joe, when the latter asked him, if he was jealous.

If "toxic relationship" needed a face, they would use Ming.

He is not beneath using a little bit of emotional blackmail to obtain full attention from Joe, while keeping the right to do whatever he wants outside of their relationship. I mean Joe must not mess with anyone, but Ming didn't promise faithfulness, either.

Joe isn't ready for this. I understand why, in the present, he consider this relationship, a nightmare.
