One of electronic music’s most important figures, Wendy Carlos is a true pioneer of the craft with countless influential albums and scores. She provided technical advice and insights to Robert Moog during the development of the Moog Synthesizer, an instrument that would revolutionize the music landscape. ⁠⁠Her album 'Sonic Seasonings’ (1972) is an early example of an ambient record, blending the then-new synth with field recordings to create an entirely new listening experience — years before the term “ambient” was even coined!⁠

Random thought but was danger days/ttlotfk in any way inspired by a clockwork orange?? I revisited the comic recently as well as the album and I keep having strong clockwork orange vibes, just less dark. Also the language, especially the way Dr Death talks in the interludes of the album. Obviously if there's any inspiration it's very subtle but still. Also I know Gerard likes a clockwork orange considering him and MCR had a clockwork orange themed photoshoot

The perfect responses to people who insist creators "must" write all stories, even those aimed at adults, like a 1980s cartoon PSA and spoon-feed their audiences everything — or else they'll be accused of being "irresponsible" *eye roll* if they let their bad guys win a la Alex in A Clockwork Orange (1971).
