A Night Called Tomorrow. It's a podcast helmed by James Urbaniak, one of my favorite cult actors - from Venture Bros, you know.

I heard about it last year or so, and I definitely wanted to check it out. But, the podcast network that hosted it, howl.fm, went under. So, unfortunately, other than this free sample first episode, the other episodes of the podcast are also a piece of lost media - much like the webcomic I talked about a while ago, the Swim Club one.

Urbaniak plays an unemployed MC in red scare era Hollywood, who, having befriended an actress (played by Azure Parsons), sets out to investigate a possibly alien (or eldritch) conspiracy. Or so I heard, since, I like I said, I could only get my hands on the first episode.

Since it's more of a cult work, it wasn't something pirates were interested in, so, now that the site hosting it is dead, it's probably lost in the folds of time too.

I don't even know if Urbaniak himself has the originals, or, even in case he does, if he's allowed to release them or if there's some sort of copyright issue... which is what happened to that Coyote movie on HBO Max.

Pity, but, it's a weird thing - the only way the podcast could get made was if they made sure it was profitable - i.e., if it was behind a paywall. And now that the paywall isn't working anymore, it's impossible to find, even if you're willing to pay for it.

Force Ghost Fox, wandering around the Galaxy. His brothers cannot see him. There aren't left any people who could see him, anymore.

He visits Bail and Breha, too, and sits with them and wishes that he could reach out, that he could tell them that he is right there.

He watches their daughter as well. A cute, tiny little thing. He sits besides her cot at nights and hums at her, even though he knows she cannot hear him. He watches her sleep as he does so, and he wishes that she was his, too.

One night, she awakens, and her little face scrunches up like she's going to cry. Fox shushes her, out of instinct, no matter how little it will be of help-

She stops, and looks up, and Fox swears that she is looking straight at him.

No, no, she cannot be. He is just imagining it.

Then she smiles, and reaches towards Fox.

“I am not going to do a group project with you,” whispered Nathan, his scowl so deep it created two furrows bracketing his nose.

“Then you shouldn’t have followed me to class,” she hissed, “how long have you been stalking me?”

Nathan looked away, and for a moment she thought she saw a flash of guilt in his dark eyes. “I thought you were feeding on students here.”

“You’d probably get a good caffeine buzz if you did,” said Iliya conversationally, “and I have my suspicions about that one,” he nodded towards a boy who was talking animatedly to the girl next to him. His rapid steam of consciousness seemed interesting enough, judging by the girl’s expression, though his eyes were half lidded and red rimmed.

“If we snacked on him we’d be in for a very good time,” said Iliya with a toothy grin.

“And why are you here, exactly?” Demanded Nathan, “are you also enrolled in Introduction to Poetry?”

“I go where Lady Blackwell goes. Besides I do not need a class to enjoy poetry,” said Iliya, reclining in the cheaply upholstered seat with his arms behind his head, “but if I was, I would get A for sure.”

same age padawans au where they’ve been in a weird wired frenemies thing for ages but now that they’re both mature adults (all of 24/25 years old) they’re more friends than enemies….

And it’s Obi-Wan that Anakin tells when he’s decided he’s going to leave the Order, not anyone else. He has a wife. There was a pregnancy scare a few weeks ago and it made her want their relationship to stop being a secret so they could really have kids. He has to leave the Order. Doesn’t Obi-Wan understand?

Obi-Wan, who has been a little in love with Anakin since they were younglings, does not understand. Not one bit. Instead of wishing him well and helping him pack, he goes to the Council and requests a mission in the Outer Rim….perhaps a month long or more…perhaps undercover? No contact with anyone on Coruscant. And maybe they could assign Anakin Skywalker as his back up? He can help with the undercover aspect.

And at first, Anakin is pissed because he was planning to resign from the Order in the next few days, but Obi-Wan convinces him to go on this mission with him….one last mission as a Jedi. To say goodbye to the Jedi life.

Obviously, Obi-Wan sort of wants to go on one last mission with Anakin because in his dreams, he wants the mission to go so perfectly that Anakin stays with him the Order. But realistically, he mostly wants to go on this mission to say goodbye to Anakin and then let him go, soaking up all his warmth and light, memorizing every casual touch bestowed on him because he knows they’re ticking down to the last handful of seconds together.

But then obviously the mission works TOO well and Anakin falls in love with Obi-Wan but doesn’t admit to it even to himself before they’re on the ship about to head back to Coruscant and Anakin realizes he doesn’t want to leave this planet because he doesn’t want to leave Obi-Wan if it could always be like this so he crashes the ship during take off so they can stay longer because he’s 24 and doesn’t know how to handle the immensity of his love except through destruction

it's very odd cuz as much as like like gaining weight or my tits being bigger or hips being wider or w/e it's not really the result i'm excited about, i mean obviously i like my body i think i look hot but i have my body because of a process of change. i find far more beautiful the things i did and things that happen than the result.. like i like gaining weight because i enjoy eating, i like training my appetite to be more in line with actually sating my hunger and i like seeing what the weight does to me, sitting on my tummy for a while as it slowly moves to more comfortable places, caring for the aches and pains and seeing my stretch marks as reward, visible proof of change having occurred... i like my breasts growing and lactating because the regularity, i have to milk myself every day, and there's immediate reward because people i love can drink sweet milk or i can cook with it but also i can see my production increasing over time, i can feel it pushing at my skin and over time notice i move differently, my arms give my tits a wide berth that i never had instinct for before and the weight of them pulling on me is a reminder that im not used to them yet, that they're new and still changing idk i just... don't know what's more beautiful than the process of becoming the kind of beautiful i want to be... and i don't ever want to be done, ill find the new ways i change as time goes on and love those to, even if it's a struggle... its always so beautiful

-Family got covid for the first time (I’m fine, I haven’t been living there)

Does anyone know how to undo what is perhaps a fae curse on my bloodline, or some sort of apocalyptic countdown??? How do I prepare for what I can only assume is an inevitable swarm of locusts next???
