As sister of the late Alyrie Hightower (née Florent), Cecily comes to the Red Keep after Queen Alicent Hightower dies giving birth to a stillbirth boy. Alicent is survived by one daughter Naerys, who Cecily feels Otto is not a sufficient grandfather to. As the wife of Lord Gerold Lannister, the Warden of the West, many question why she opts to spend her days as a glorified Septa, taking care of her orphaned grandniece.

Naerys is the only surviving daughter of Queen Alicent Hightower, the second wife of Viserys II Targaryen. She is a quiet girl, at times off-putting. She is interested in stories of the First Men and the arrival of the Andals, ignoring the study of her Targaryen heritage. She often abandons her ladies-in-waiting for the company of her aunt, Cecily, her young maid, Elyse, and her sworn sword, Ser Damon Waters. Barely six and ten, she has been betrothed to Cregan Stark, the widow.

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Gerold Lannister

The oldest son of the late Tybolt and Ceira Lannister, he is the current ruling Warden of the West. He chooses to stay in the Casterly Rock, with many members of his family serving the Targaryens, and their whims. He is not as clever nor as cunning as his lady wife. He believes her ambitions, while valuable, should be instead placed within furthering their children, Tybolt and Ceressa Lannister, in the court of Princess Rhaenyra.

Many joke of the Targaryen sisters and their dark-haired sworn swords. Naerys, contrary to this joke however, is far more concerned with her Andal tales and odd porcelain trinkets then men.

I had a daughter and I raised her until she was 6 and then I woke up.

It was so realistic too. I’m a trans man and I even experienced childbirth, that shit fucking hurt like cramps but on steroids and crack.

Her name was Judith, her favourite colour was purple and she loved dinosaurs and I miss her so much and she doesn’t even exist.

There was absolutely no need for it to be so realistic and detailed I’m devastated. 😭
