Takanashi Tsumugi: Yes. We'll conduct a physical fitness test and divide the teams to ensure a balanced team distribution.

Osaka Sougo: A physical fitness test, huh. I feel like I’m back in school.

Yotsuba Tamaki: Sou-chan, were you good at sports?

Osaka Sougo: I wasn’t bad, but not as good as Tamaki-kun.

Yotsuba Tamaki: Sounds like we’re gonna be enemies then.

Osaka Sougo: That’s true, we're a duo after all… If I were producing the show I might want MEZZO" to be in separate teams.

Yotsuba Tamaki: Is that so?

Osaka Sougo: Yeah… I hope I’ll be able to read the room and get results that ensure we end up in different teams…

Rokuya Nagi: If they’re gonna divide us based on physical power, Mitsuki and Tamaki would end up in different teams.

Nikaido Yamato: They’re our top two athletes after all.

Kujo Tenn: You know. Just a bit of curiosity.

Yaotome Gaku: You get it.

Kujo Tenn: Yeah.

Yaotome Gaku: Yeah.

Anesagi Kaoru: It’s rare for you two to be in sync. I mean I get it, but still.

Tsunashi Ryuunosuke: A-Anyways, I’ll do my best. I’m good at sports after all!

Yaotome Gaku: Yeah! We’re counting on you, Ryuu!

Kujo Tenn: Do your best and have fun.

Tsunashi Ryuunosuke: Got it. I’m gonna go all out and make a huge impact in the sports festival!

Yamato here is implying that Iori ‘paces’ himself, AKA crafts his image carefully and knows how to manage it so as to not break that illusion of perfection.

I am actually not sure if they’re whispering here, the original text is in between brackets, and since this is an actual conversation and not a rabbitchat I chose to interpret this as a whisper, so there’s a possibility this gets changed once the story gets voiced.

This entire bit was complicated to translate in English, so here’s how it went in Japanese: Riku thinks Tsumugi’s just randomly throwing the word “secret” around so he says it himself out of context. And THEN adds (笑) (slang term for LOL) which makes the sentence even more confusing. Mitsuki points it out, and then Nagi joins in by adding (草) (another slang for LOL, so I went with LMAO to differentiate) to the end of his sentence. Mitsu gets annoyed and calls him out on it, so Nagi retaliates by abruptly switching to very formal japanese. Basically he went from saying LMAO out loud to. That. Again this story is currently not voiced but it’s also safe to assume he’s gonna drop his accent and talk in proper Japanese too (LOL)(save me)

A LOOK BACK AT ODS (OUR DATING SIM) & LEE WAN aka IAN, SHIN KI TAE aka EDDY, THEO, JAMIE & SUNNY

Episode 1: Lee Wan is rushing to a job interview unbeknownst to him he's about to get a blast from the past in the form of his failed first love Shin Ki Tae.

Episodes 2: The viewers get a flash of what happened to these two best friends inseparable in high school right up until graduation. Lee Wan was facing a move after he and his sister went bankrupt and had to move in with an aunt. So his "failed" confession left Shin Ki Tae no way to contact Lee Wan.

Episode 3: Shin Ki Tae (Eddy) and Lee Wan (Ian) are now co-workers as encouragement from the mysterious Gameboy pushes Lee Wan not to run away. Though feeling harassed initially by Eddy, Ian is in for a shock.

Episode 4: Eddy (Shin Ki Tae) having beat Sunny at a video game won a wish. His wish was to work off site with illustrator Ian (Lee Wan). Ian needed to draw the background of a school. So Eddy took him to the school they graduated from, the school Lee Wan made his confession and the school Eddy last saw Lee Wan as he fled after being "rejected". To Lee Wan's surprise he got a confession from Shin Ki Tae.

Episode 5: Ian hasn't respond to Eddy's confession. To hard to believe? Perhaps. After a power outage Eddy invites Ian to his place after learning Ian has been living in the Night Duty Room. Later after a company dinner. Shin Ki Tae kisses Lee Wan for the first time.

Episode 6: After a kiss the two men have a "grandpa date" in the park. They talk. And agree to be secret boyfriends. Well they agreed to date.

Episode 7: Lee Wan is being wooed by a webtoon company that wants him to work outside of Korea (ie: abroad) after drinking with the webtoon producer a drunken Lee Wan returns to Shin Ki Tae's apartment. He let's slip that Shin Ki Tae wouldn't want him leaving. And Shin Ki Tae's anxiety (that no one knew he had) bubbles to the surface. After not being able to reach Lee Wan, Shin Ki Tae has a flashback of Lee Wan's confession and his own reaction and the moment Lee Wan apologized and ran off...never to be seen again (or 7 years) Remembering this traumatic experience sends Shin Ki Tae running through the streets calling out Lee Wan's name. Suddenly Lee Wan appears and Shin Ki Tae breaks down spilling his guts about how Lee Wan's disappearance crushed him. Stunned all Lee Wan can do is say Sorry.

Episode 8: The Finale. Lee Wan has completed his time at Shin Ki Tae's company Re: Try but he has brought more to the company as the Webtoon company pursuing Lee Wan has agreed to turn the dating simulation into a webtoon. It is agreed upon by Theo, Jamie, Sunny and Shin Ki Tae.

And our boys have become not just reunited but united. Is it forever? I'm not really sure. We're happy now but it could be game over at any time. But I won't run away again. -Lee Wan.

Hello dear compassionate souls,

This is Mohammad, an English teacher form Gaza.

On Thursday, October 5th 2023, two day prior to the crushing war, I got up from my comfortable bed at 6 a.m., brushed my teeth, took a shower, dressed my ironed suit, had my coffee in peace and headed to Al-Azhar University where I worked.

It was not until two days later that this beautiful & simple life would become a far-fetched dream.  On October 9th, I found myself displaced tens of kilometers away form home, lost my job and even my neat clothes and my entire life revolved around securing the most basic necessities for survival. My dream became a pile of wood and a bag of flour. At some point, I genuinely forgot who I really once was.

The war went on and on and it’s just three days away from its first anniversary by the time I am writing my story. Throughout this year, I witnessed all sorts of suffering and humiliation from the loss of my home and university to the grief of losing many beloved ones. I have experienced countless displacements, chaotic food lines filled with the hungry, deprivation of essential supplies, and the horror of witnessing some of history’s most harrowing scenes.

This genocide took a full year away from my life so far and replaced it with death and humiliation. As far as academics are concerned, the war destroyed all our universities and schools taking away all my dreams of restoring my progress. Despite all that, I was determined to regain my stolen life and start over again. I applied for the university of Sheffield and obtained an unconditional offer letter to continue my studies in the field of TESOL, Teaching English to Student of Other Languages.

I am reaching out to you to join in my fight to regain my progress and get back on my feet. My TESOL program at Sheffield is a one-year MEd that costs 24.950₤. any donation no matter how small gets me a step closer to a better life.

Almost a decade and this scene from the game's true ending reduces me to a pathetic sobbing puddle. Undertale the story, is about children who were tragically hurt, about going off the deep end and then still finding it in yourself to be kind again.

Chara and Asriel are incredibly tragic, and I wonder if that hug that Frisk, the last human who landed in the Underground, who landed on a bed of golden flowers, included only Asriel? Or maybe both of them…

I won't wax on about how much this game means to me cause I've said it so many times on my previous blogs and side blog lol, and I'm gonna put all my energy into the big one next year in 2025! Happy anniversary everyone!!!

Mido Torao: That sounds absolutely disgusting… Also, how exactly does eating sukiyaki build teamwork?

Yotsuba Tamaki: You know. There’s always someone in charge of the pot.

Izumi Mitsuki: Ah, I see. I’m usually the one in charge so maybe I should leave it to someone else this time.

Happy 9th Anniversary, Fnaf<3

Well this took 5-6 straight days of work<3 Totally worth it though!!! SUPER proud of the results<333

35 characters and never enough words to express my love for fnaf,,

Along with this being an anniversary piece, I guess you could also consider this a love letter to modern fnaf! Of course I LOVE classic fnaf, but something about the Steel Wool era just... I dunno! It brings me so much unashamed joy!! I love the characters, the plot, story, writing, designs, playing the games(yes even SB)- maybe it's a bit rough around the edges, but there's nothing here that makes me hate it to any degree- it's all just so full of love from everyone who worked on it, and it makes me happy any time I see these characters or hear people discussing the story!! I've become more attached to some of the modern fnaf characters than I have to... honestly any character ever LMAO Maybe it's not for everyone, but I'll enjoy it no matter what! FNAF 4EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think I owe a lot to modern fnaf- it's the reason I have so many of my current friends! It's brought me close to so many people, and in-turn it's helped me get out of my comfort zone! I'm not going into detail here, but fnaf just brings me so much joy for so many reasons- and I believe in the future of this franchise!!! I believe in Steel Wool!!! I believe in everyone involved in making this franchise what it is today, and whatever it'll be in the future!!!!

This is it! I can officially announce that my game Pixel Art Academy: Learn Mode will launch into Steam Early Access on August 5!

It'll be the 9th anniversary of the Pixel Art Academy Kickstarter that day and about 1.5 years since I decided to take the educational core of my adventure game and release it as a standalone, downloadable Learn Mode that focuses just on the educational parts without the story elements.

The reception of Learn Mode has been great so far and people seem to enjoy learning digital drawing and pixel art fundamentals through a video game. Whew! I'm far from done though, but the first chapter focusing on lines will be getting released now before I finish the other 6 out of 7 elements of art throughout Early Access.
