Since I couldn't find many great holofilms about droids, I thought I would see if I could convince Mitaka to write a musical about one. He's good at writing those things. It's no holofilm, but I think he could make it pretty cool. After all, droids deserve to have their stories told, too. I just needed to find a droid for him to write about, first.

I did some searching on the holonet for "famous droids who are also badass" and the results were. . . not great.

Turns out, most of those droids were famous for helping out the Jedi or various rebellions. You know: R2-D2, Skippy the Jedi Droid. Those types.

Looks like I need to either come up with an original character to pitch to Mitaka or convince BB-9E to do something real cool.

I thought I'd take a break from drawing nsfw pics, so I decided to illustrate the adventures of Millicent the Loth-cat, Hux's pet guardian from @notlikelybutpossible awesome fic 'Miss Missing You'.

It's an exciting, cute, funny, and moving story about searching, finding, understanding, and learning to live again, this time together.

I wholly recommend this fic. It's a great read!

I purchased this postcard online of the Monument de Gavarni in the Place Saint-Georges, 9e arrondissement Paris! Hopefully it arrives before my birthday in July; who knows when, if ever, I will see this in person.

The statue and fountain was built in the early 20th century, and this undated postcard looks contemporary. I'm envious of the people who can walk right up to it in what looks like a pedestrian-friendly environment, because I know that today it's surrounded by a fence and in the middle of a traffic circle. As of 2021 the fountain was working, following a restoration.

The figures on the column represent the Carnaval de Paris (to the disappointment of my wife, who thought that was Gavarni dressed as a clown), including a débardeuse. Gavarni is immortalised by women in pants, and I think that's wonderful. 😌
