Okay I understand and fully support the "Tommy is weirded out by Buck" rhetoric because if my boyfriend said he wanted to hold a funeral for a cowboy corpse and then gave a speech like that, I would be rethinking my life choices.

just cannot stop thinking about masks... episode 705 you don't know me, buck's first episode knowing and embracing his queerness, all of it completely wrapped up in eddie, every single moment of it just eddie, eddie, eddie but still called you don't know me. episode 805 masks, a whole season later, when there should be absolutely nothing between them left unsaid at all but maybe, maybe there's even more now than there was before, maybe they just swapped one mask for another....
#sami rambles#sorry im literally going crazy about masks#also. if it is a bottle ep. god hen's mask maybe having to be separating her from chimney as he's talking about everything he's doing#with mara. because aisha will fucking devastate us all with that. and chim talking about mara so much is a mask itself because he knows#how hard this is for hen and he's just trying to make it better but he doesn't know How.#911 spoilers#buddie#evan buckley#eddie diaz#911 show#buck x eddie#911 spec

Since BuckTommy fans want to accuse Oliver of being biphobic because their ship imploded last night, let me clear something up for some of y'all:
Yes, there are some bisexual people who have sexual relations with people from both genders. And yes, there are some bisexual people who choose to explore their sexuality through sex when they first come to terms with their bisexuality.
The issue comes when actual biphobic people take that and use it to the run with the myth that bisexuals are "promiscuous" and "unfaithful," which plays into the idea that bi people will sexually pursue someone of a gender that differs from the gender they are currently involved with, which plays into the "cheating bisexual" myth.
A myth that the bi community has been forced to see time and time again in media for AGES and to this day, continues to combat.
THAT'S being biphobic.
THAT'S biphobia.
And Oliver has done none of that.

911 Spoilers Season 5: You’ve been warned. 😅 Buddie Rewatch
Episode 4: Home and Away
Chimney is rewatching Maddie’s video, replaying it obsessively. Buck knocks on the door, calling out to Chim, telling him he can hear him and to open the door. After a few moments, Buck unlocks the door and allows himself in. Buck stands at the entrance with concern on his face as he looks toward Chim.
Buck slowly walks towards Chim, repeating his name and trying to get his attention. Chimney finally responds, there is frustration in his tone. Buck proceeds to tell him that he needs to stop, that Maddie left, it’s not a big deal, it’s something she does.
Buck is very matter of fact about the situation. Maddie just needs distance. Maddie always leaves. He’s dismissive of Chimney’s concerns. So, he’s not really dismissive, because he acknowledges that his concerns are valid, but he is treating the situation differently than Chim.
As Chim is showing Buck the video Maddie made and bringing up possible explanations to justify her leaving, and needing help; Buck is not taking Chim’s concerns as valid. Buck is bringing up excuses for Maddie and telling Chim that the situation will correct itself.
This moment really showcases Buck’s relationship with Maddie. Buck is obviously use to seeing this side of her. He’s not phased by her leaving, he kind of just expects it at this point. What Buck fails to realize is this situation is not identical to the other moments of his past with her. Buck isn’t trying to be an asshole in this scene, but he comes a cross that way. To be fair it’s difficult to feel apart of this situation. This moment really solidifies that Buck is use to being left.
High School Parade – The 118 arrive at scene. Ravi and Buck run up to the turned over Truck. Working together to break the windshield and check on the driver. They mark the driver as dead. Buck questions if the accident was intentional and with further discussion with Bobby it is determined that the deceased did not do this on purpose.
Hen and Eddie run up to a cheerleader on the ground. Eddie is the one to pronounce her dead. They spot another cheerleader injured and run up to her. The cheerlead is barley conscious, but is able to speak. She repeatedly says the name Makaila, after being asked her name,
Ravi and Buck run up to the teacher pinned to the benches, they call over Bobby to look over the situation. They create a plan to extract the victim.
Eddie closes the Ambulance door and sends it away when two parents run over to him asking about their daughter. Believing the injured party was named Makaila he tells them that she is on the way to the hospital. The parents also ask him about her friend Casey, and he explains that there was another cheerleader who died on scene.
Ravi and Buck stabilize the structure the teacher is pinned down on. Ravi points out the truck is on fire; this is when it is discovered that chlorine gas was in the truck.
The 118 suit up and wear gas masks. Buck is working to cut the victim out of the benches with a saw. They are able to get the teacher out and place him in an ambulance.
This particular rescue is a perfect example of Buck and Eddie being separated as partners. Not that I don’t love Hen and Eddie working closely together or Ravi and Buck working together. It’s just something I noticed in my rewatch that Eddie and Buck are being separated more and more. I love that we see them develop their other relationships in the 118, but I can’t ignore that they likely separated the two because they wanted us Buddie shippers to calm down a bit.
Hospital- Eddie comments, “Not my favorite day.” Hen and Eddie have a moment acknowledging how difficult the rescue was. This is when the parents that approached them at the scene, approaches them again at the hospital.
The parents thank Hen and Eddie for rescuing their daughter. Eddie asks the parents if they know the other victim, which they respond with yes, she was their daughter’s best friend. Hen and Eddie both are visibly upset and empathetic to the situation.
Casey’s parents approach the group. Hen and Eddie watch as the families comfort each other. The parents of the deceased notices blood on Eddies neck, causing them to break down in tears, and Eddie is awkwardly holding his neck. Eddie offers to take the parents to see their deceased daughter to identify the body.
Eddie stands behind the parents, head down allowing them time to process.
Eddie’s head shoots up with concern when the parents reveal that it is not their daughter on the table. Concern and worry is written all over Eddie’s face.
Eddie approaches Hen and explains to Hen the current situation and how they may have misidentified the girls.
Eddie and Hen are sitting on the bench, they look anxious. Eddie leaned over, hand claps together when a doctor walks over and confirms that they mis identified the victims. Hen offers to break the news. Eddie asks her if she’s sure and she confirms she has to be the one to break the news.
In the hall way as Hen breaks the news to the parents. As the parents process the news, they collapse on to the floor. Eddie approaches with the other parents as this happens and the parents comfort each other.
While the families embrace, Eddie and Hen stand near each other, watching the moment. Both having a look of sadness on their faces.
Buck’s loft - Buck opens the door to Chimney who reveals he just learned what happened with Maddie and Jee-Yun.
Something to note here is that Chim knocks on the door and Buck lets him in. We know Buck has a key to Chim’s place because he let himself in earlier in the episode. But does Buck have a key to Chim’s apartment because of his sister or because the 118 decided that they all will have each other’s keys. We know Eddie has a key to Buck’s apartment and vise versa, but do Hen and Bobby also have a key. I may make a separate post on the topic because this small detail can really impact the trust/intimacy in Buck and Eddies relationship and build an even stronger foundation for Buddie.
Chim is excited and urgent when he tells Buck his new found knowledge. Buck is stern and combative to Chim’s hopes and desire to chase after Maddie.
Buck’s reaction makes Chim realize that Buck knew why Maddie left the whole time. Chim’s initial excitement turns to anger.
Chim is visibly more upset and angrier and as Buck is tries to justify his actions, Chim throws a punch, hitting Buck in the eye and storms out.
Buck is left in his loft, hands on the dinning room table, dumbfounded and processing what just happened.
Buck’s balcony- Buck is sitting outside, Eddie walks in from the kitchen with two beers in hand. Eddie makes a joke, “nothing wrong with his aim” as he hands Buck one of the beers.
Eddie leans against the balcony wall and Buck admits to understanding why Chim hit him, but also feeling justified in what he did.
Buck explains that he really thought he could help Chim and Maddie at the same time. Believing if he let Maddie do what she always does and comforting Chim in the process that everything will eventually fix itself. Buck states, “Kind of feels like I failed on both fronts.”
Eddie takes a sip of his beer and point blank tells Buck that he was always destined to fail.
Buck points out that the statement is kind of harsh and Eddie elaborates on his point.
Eddie points out that Buck loves Maddie and loves Chimney and that Buck is the guy that loves to fix things, but that this isn’t something that he can fix.
Buck is combative towards Eddie, stating that Chimney wasn’t being rational and that he knows his sister and that Chim just doesn’t know her the way he does.
Eddie is quick to tell Buck, “Or maybe you don’t know her the way he does.” Basically, starts explaining to Buck that he knows one version of Maddie, the Maddie that is his older sister. Chimney knows a different Maddie, one that he is the one to know what she needs.
There is a slight pause, Buck is taking in what Eddie just said and then asks him if he thinks Chimney will ever forgive him. Jokingly Eddie says no, pauses and then says maybe. Both Buck and Eddie take a swig of their beers and Eddie reminds Buck to put the ice back on his eye.
Chim is packing up his car- Buck is calling Chim, Chim ignores the call.

My 8x02 Thoughts & Summary
Yes, we are in fact making this a weekly thing. To varying degrees of summary.
As before, this will be everything I remember/deem important. So there may be some things I forget.
911 Spoilers UNDER the cut!!
Okay, that flashback with younger Athena saying the eulogy at Emmett's funeral? That hurt, that hurt so bad. And unfortunately, hurt was the one constant thing in this episode. No funny stuff (unless we were with Bobby while he was on the set of Hotshots).
Speaking of Bobby, the man was on set and thus his phone was on silent the entire time Athena and Buck were trying to call him. Not the man's fault, but it was soo irritating (in a good way, kinda). The way he instantly stole the firetruck from set after hearing from Buck that Athena's on the plane, it was everything to me. Like yes, Bobby, go help your wife!
(He also let the Brad guy ((who wants to study him and be deep in the mindset of firefighters)) get into the firetruck as they steal it, I feel like he knew Brad was going to protest if Bobby told him to get out and Bobby was truly only thinking about going to help Athena.)
The true stars of this episode were Athena and the rest of the passengers.
They showed us a little bit of before the plane crash, seeing a group of child athletes (I can't tell what sport they played, maybe soccer or volleyball), two passengers side by side who didn't have a good introduction together, a dad and his kid who loves planes, and an elderly couple.
After the plane crashes and the pilot is thrown out of the sky via a hole that then gets close by some plane equipment (RIP to the pilot), the oxygen masks go down and one of the two passengers who didn't really like each other had a faulty oxygen mask. And so with the help of Hen (Hen, Chimney, and Eddie were on the phone, helping the passengers help the injured ones), the other passenger helped the injured passenger get fluid out of his lungs and help him breathe again. Which brings in the elderly couple, because they were the ones who had what was needed to help save the guy.
The team captain of the all-girls team was injured, her leg was broken. And helping her with her leg was Dennis Jenkins and the dad whose kid loves planes. Dennis ended up having to make a shiv out of a toothbrush because the team captain's leg was swelling up and to relieve it, they had to cut it open. Dennis couldn't do it, so the dad ended up doing it. She felt better and they splinted the leg.
Was really worried that she wouldn't make it. And I really liked her, so I hope when the plane lands, she's still doing alright.
Okay, speaking of the dad and his kid who loves planes, the kid was so instrumental in helping Athena with the plane. Because she knew how to do nothing after turning around the jet (I'm surprised she managed to do it, because I wouldn't have), so this kid got to the cockpit and helped her. There was a hole in the front of the plane and in the back of the plane and when the hole in the back of the plane grew bigger, they were descending so the kid showed her how to increase the thrust and then took the joystick to level out the plane. He leveled out the plane, this little kid.
Turns out his father and him are going to Hawai'i because his mother died and they're doing everything she liked. I'm hoping him and his father make this out alive.
And then they ended the episode with the copilot who had something impaling his leg and he was unconscious for most of the episode. Okay, so he regains conscious just as the air traffic control is trying to figure out how to help Athena land the plane and so when he's awake and talking, everyone's like "Okay, it'll be okay. They have an alive pilot." Yeah, that's when the man has a heart attack as they lift him up to help him get to the cockpit. The episode ends with Athena starting compressions.
I never stressed about the injured so much since the early seasons until this episode. It was stressing, so many injured people and they combined that with Athena and Dennis and their little storyline. It was jam-packed with worry and dare I say it was just as stressing as the tsunami arc?
I can't wait for part three of the opener, it's either going to really hurt or I'm going to watch it and feel so happy that everything (and I mean everything) went as well as it could be.

Santa Clauses S2 E5 spoilers:
I will say watching deadpool 2, then immediately watching The Santa Clauses is such a shift.
Anyways, spoilers are below for episode 5
We love daddy issues Kriss
BETTY!
Tim Allen is coming up with every excuse not to wear the fat suit.
YASSSS "look into my eyes What's do you see" "It's cold and its dark" that's the line from the second clause!
BETTY'S BACK!
Couple goals
Noooo, Betty, no leaving!
Being head elf must come with magic sass
Cal loving Riley ears is just so I grew in the north pole of him
Olga is me on a mental level
Will we ever get a like in-depth explanation of Claus magic powers? Seeing visions?
Mad santa started naughty coal, bet the poor families in the winter were actually thankful
Cal is talking to the reindeer, but still no Chet
Bernard acting like a head elf even before being head elf, honestly expecting nothing else.
The CIA elfs make me so happy.
"Being banished to the wobbly woods forever" that is the last line in the Elf Clause. Any elf that goes against Santa get banished
I want to know what Edie did to be above Gary. I do respect that Olga wants to maim Gary more than Santa scott. (Also, now I finished the fact that Betty is after Toots is impressive considering what she did)
STOP...... oh my god, I hate it. Scott is getting his powers back but facial hair first. I agree Carol he's about to sell me something. Or looks like the mayor of monopoly.
Betty and I think the same thoughts apparently because she just said what I just wrote (I'm pausing to write my thoughts)
I'm sorry I can't take this seriously
LA befana really out here being like, "Here's something to kill the bastard but it wasn't me"
I also agree she is a legendary figure? Yes, I know she's known in Italy and even celebrated down there still, but I didn't even know her till doing my own research who this christmas witch was. Then again, she's a legend in Italy, sooo. Does that mean mothman exists or Bigfoot?
Me too, emotional moments make me scared, too
....
....
....
She turned the easterbunny into a lemon
WeLl wHeN LiFe GiVeS YoU LeMoNs
Sandra, you don't speak fruit? I thought you had the internet up there.
They are closing the vortexes, and Cal is flying the sleigh
Elfs fighting with kazoos is my Romain Empire. I also feel like they played the kazoo kid song
I want to know the legendary figure legal department because who even writes these clauses?
I feel like mixing that much legendary figure magic is not a good thing, oh my god.
Hahahahha *removes mask* gasp it's you! Dude you don't even know her name, you can even get your head elfs name right.
Oh my god, I just need to watch the show and stop pausing because the next thing he said is that.
Noel being a simp
HAHHAHAHA Noel is now cannon "not bernard"
"Legendaries have no power against other legendaries." HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN ALREADY SANTA USING SANDMANS OWN SAND ON HIM. That it's my only peace of mind is sandman sand didn't actually affect him he just wanted an excuse to sleep.
And the fat suit back.
Cal your two brain cells are fighting for Dominance
Cal turning into a therapist someone get Neil!
Ha he called 911
HAHAHA he ripped it. Again, I want to know who writes these clauses. ALSO, COULD HE HAVE DONE THAT THE WHOLE TIME?!?!(I doubt Bernard would of let him)
That's some strong ducktape
NOOOOOOO Cal! I was starting to like the golden retriever
Scott and Carol are also couple goals
And she has a bazooka
And of course, it ends like that. Time to wait another week.
So thoughts?
Season 2, so far, has been better than season 1, as season 1 felt like a rewrite of the 3rd movie. This second season is bringing back reference to the movies. With Judy, Jack frost, carols eyes of darkness, etc. Cal is finally finding his footing, and Sandra is coming into her own. Hopefully, Scott finally opens his damn eyes to his children for once and sees that Cal wants to be his own person. Maybe only do Santa part-time instead of just taking over completely. See you all for episode 6.

Hey bestie. Who is Buck?
LOOK AT HIM HES SO SKRUNKLY…..
anyways basically there’s this show called 911 right and it’s about first responders in LA, mainly firefighters at station 118.
so this dude evan buckley (he goes by buck) is one of the main characters!
putting this under a cut bc it’s a rant and also spoilers haha
ill be honest initially i didn’t like him all that well bc he was kinda just giving white fuckboy likeee 😭 bro had sex with his therapist in the first session. he also stole a fire truck to have sex in like bro. please do Not 🙏🏽
but soon enough he decides he’s had enough of just hooking up with strangers and decides to stop being “buck 1.0” and start to exhibit some character growth
so yeah i didn’t love him initially but god then i saw that he’s such a kind caring person who loves with his whole heart and i just. 😭 this man will put EVERYTHING on the line he’s a firefighter!!!! his job is to save lives and he’s damn good at it
and he will do WHATEVER it takes. by any means by god he will get people out alive. he’s such a huge risk taker it doesn’t matter if the buildings collapsing doesn’t matter if he’s disobeying a direct order from his captain to evacuate if there’s even the tiniest chance of saving a life he’ll do everything he can to do so he will give his mask to a fire victim so they can breathe
buck grew up with parents too caught up in grieving their dead son that they failed to pay attention to the one that was alive. the only way buck could get their attention was if he got hurt. and god did buck get hurt he was constantly getting injured breaking this and that doing everything he could to just get his parents to look at him.
and yes that does contribute to why he is the way he is as a firefighter but there’s also the fact that he’s just intrinsically GOOD. he cares about people and he wants to do everything he can to keep them alive. he doesn’t do this for the glory or for anything else he does it to save lives and if that isn’t honourable i don’t know what is
and god he LOVES. he loves with his whole entire heart. he loves his family. he loves his sister maddie his niece jee gunnhe loves the 118 he loves his team. he loves eddie and chris so much it hurts. he loves bobby and he loves athena and he loves chimney and he loves hen and he has so much love to give and he gives it with everything he has because he CARES. he cares so incredibly much.
i’m getting emotional buck just loves so much and just wants somebody to want him back. buck i want you i love you can i hug you please 🙏🏽
okay yeah dhajdjajsjdjfjbthts buck. my Best Friend ❤️

Okay I’m going to just try my absolute best to focus on the Tarlos moments from the end of the episode starting with them heading upstairs - I think that’s really what my heart needs right now.
And no matter how I feel about a lot of what happened in 2x12, the scene at the end where Carlos breaks down in TK’s arms is one of the most emotionally raw and beautiful moments that this show has ever given us, and I am incredibly grateful that we got to witness it.
I say this all the time, but Rafael Silva really is doing something extraordinary with his work on this show. The pathos that he exudes in every single moment that he is on screen is honestly some of the best acting work that I have ever seen, and he takes Carlos to a place that no one else could. He does exactly what an actor is supposed to do: he elevates the material on the page and brings it to life in such a way that we cannot help but be in his corner, we cannot help but want more of him and for him, we cannot help but to love him.
Rafael Silva is Lone Star’s MVP, and we best not forget it.
#he's such a fucking star#I just have a lot of feelings about carlos finally shedding his mask and breaking down#it was an absolutely beautiful and cathartic moment#and I truly think it's one of the best moments on this show#it was a long time coming and rafa delivered a knockout performance#rafael silva#carlos reyes#911 lone star#ls spoilers#that moment alone matched what we saw in 2x08#and it makes me so happy that we can continue to expect this kind of thing from rafa whenever he gets the opportunity
