reminders for today:

mass deportations are starting. if you see ice vehicles or agents, yell ice raid and la migra as loud as you can.

if someone asks who you voted for, keep your mouth shut. they’re fishing for traitors.

if anyone, anyone at all asks about your neighbors or their legal status in the us, you know nothing. don’t be the reason that their family is separated.

if anyone asks about your religion or lack thereof, keep it vague. this administration will look for any excuse to persecute you.

your friends are trans or queer? for the next four years they’re not. don’t expose anyone’s status as a trans or queer person to anyone else, even if you think you can trust them.

did someone you know get an abortion? no, they didn’t. they were never pregnant.

in short, don’t be a snitch, and keep to yourself these next four years. we’ll make it through this even if it seems hopeless at times.

this is all i can think of at the moment, but i’ll be adding on to this as the day continues.

we can survive this. we’ve survived before, and we’ll survive again.

I’m normally not political on this page. Honestly don’t expect this post to get any traction, but I want this somewhere on my page.

History is repeating itself and America’s future seems bleak. A racist, homophobic, sexist, criminal is the president for the second time. This time with a plan to ultimately dismantle our government from within, weakening it to the point that once his 4 years are up, the damage he will cause will be ever lasting.

This is not the time to be complacent, and just sit back. We have to continue to work as a community and keep him in check.

Just rewatched Season 8 Episode 6. I’m still not a fan of Josh’s speech but it did make me think about what I really want for Buddie.

I want someone to ask Buck if he loves Eddie and Buck answering Yes without any hesitation. I want the response to be so quick that Buck is surprised with how confident is answer was.

I need that moment.

I’m trying to go into this mid-season finale with low expectations. We still have so much to address and last episode was definitely a filler episode. What is happening with Chris, or Bathena’s home, how is Denny?

I’m enjoying the season, but there is something off about pacing. Some story lines were rushed. Some story lines were not addressed enough. Secondary characters are getting more screen time than some of the main cast.

It’s going to be a good episode, but I know I have to keep my expectations low so that I can fully enjoy the episode.

Unrealistic wish for the episode is hint towards Buddie canon, or Eddie leaving to Texas to get his son.
