I was watching the OG, so when it rolled over into the pilot for LS I just...kept watching lol.

Which season is your favorite?

Oh god. Season 1? 😂 I always love the early days of relationship stuff and the Tarlos flirting and nonsense was peak amazing during that time. Season 2 is also pretty up there.

Who is your favorite character? (Bonus: If you answered TK or Carlos, who is your favorite besides them?)

Sorry, here for the Tarlos lol. But probably Tommy or Grace. I love how badass they are and how they take no shit!

I want more shenanigans. The Lou stuff of "Down to Clown" is so good and it lets our people shine in a really special way. Like just give me the 126 prank war or Carlos losing his wedding ring. Nonsense stuff that is just fun!

What do you think is going on in this still?

Pretty sure it's a lead on Gabriel's murder unfortunately. But could be that Tarlos was about to get it on when Andrea called because she needs help changing a lightbulb and Carlos is like, "Mom, now is NOT a good time." Lol!

We all know about the elusive 5x05 spicy scene that has been teased, so what is your prediction for how it could possibly top 1x02?

SHOWER. SHOWER SHOWER SHOWER. Like they're just at home, getting ready for the day together with some steamy (pun intended!) shower sex that's just sooooooo much better now that they're married!

Where was the Tarlos honeymoon in your mind?

I sent them home and then to Mexico in my fic lol. I don't think they went too far. Just somewhere all inclusive where they could relax and be alone.

So I'm actually going to veer away from Tarlos for a minute and talk about episodes 3x15 and 3x16, aka Owen's anger management arc. This arc is extremely personal to me because I myself have struggled with anger my whole life. The cause is different for us, but seeing him go to a therapist and open up about his trauma was really important and probably one of the most impactful scenes on the show for me.

The world tends to focus a lot on depression as the source of all mental health issues, and many still assume that there is only one "right" way to struggle with mental health. The truth is that it manifests differently in everyone, and as much as many would like to paint Owen as a villian, he is simply someone who coped negatively with the loss he's experienced, recognizes how it affected his family, and has grown and matured as a person throughout the show. Owen is my third favorite character after Carlos and TK and this is a big reason why.

I also don't like it when people try to paint TK and Owen's relation in a negative light because I think this is one of the most beautiful father son relationships I have ever seen on TV. I don't know how you could look at how fiercely Owen loves TK and come to the conclusion that he's the "bad guy". He's constantly growing as a person, and seeing characters like him is always a good reminder for me that I can do that too. I can keep going to therapy and getting better as a human, as a daughter, and as a friend. I think thats one of the most important takeaways I've had from this show in the past year.

Nice Ask Week! I have 2 questions for you. First, what is your favorite episode of 911 Lone Star and why?

Second, you get 2 free front row tickets to see the band/artist of your choice. The only catch is that you have to give the second ticket to a Lone Star character. Which character are you taking with you to the concert and who are you going to see?

Hi! I ended up going through four days of family issues, but mainly needed to consider my answers. So, I’m sorry I took a bit to respond! I’m not quite as familiar with the characters and their personalities as I’d like to be but I’m always interested in hearing the headcanons the fandom comes up with for the 126.

Favorite episode… hm. I haven’t narrowed it down to just one yet, but I do have let’s say one per season. Season 1, I can def confirm is 1x05 (highlights were TK and Mateo victory roasting/ dancing, the good parts of Paul’s bowling date, and the hot loads of bull stuff. Poor Judd 😅). Season 2 was 2x14 for the probie’s moment— if you know you know (but I gotta say Billy got more shat-on than he deserved at the end). Underrated, I know— Season 3 is a little more conventional for me with 3x15. (I always find myself spluttering and half-laughing-half-sympathizing at and with Carlos’ lizard hell and TK being like “tfw I be more in over my head than I thought I was”). For Season 4, it’s easy and hard for the roller coaster it was (both good and bad ways) because of the mixed bag of story arcs… but I would probably say 4x14. For the understandable shortcomings of the Kendra arc, I loved the Strickland Sense (tm?) taking point and Gabriel being the voice of reason.

As for bands… god tbh I’m generally go-with-the-flow on live bands/ artists since I haven’t gone to see many concerts. Plus, I can be better at adapting in groups than really speaking up and contributing. Besides, some of the ones I can think of (Postmodern Jukebox, Jake Shimabukuro, maybe the odd tribute concert or indie artist/ band) are kinda boring for the 126 characters. (But I was pleasantly surprised to hear Iz Kamakawiwo’ole! On-brand and Hawai’i touch— mahalo for the shoutout, sound/ production crew!)
