More pest Eddie thoughts bc honestly, he’s my dream man!

He leaves little sticky notes all around the house for you 🫶

And yes, a lot of them are sweet like when he leave notes on the mirror “good morning beautiful. Let’s make today amazing. Love, Eddie” with a little shitty heart drawn in the corner

A sticky note on the coffee pot “I’ll be thinking of you all day <3”

Or just random sticky notes around the house to remind you of how much he loves you

But then… there’s the other kind of notes

A sticky note in your panties drawer that reads “wear your sexiest ones and be ready for me”

A sticky note in the shower “nice boobs”

A bite written in the steam on the mirror that just says “put them on my face”

He would randomly sneak up on you when he gets home

Toeing off his shoes and stepping around the creeks in the floors to be a silent as he can before he wraps his arms around you yelling “give me all your money!”

And of course it scares the shit out of you, but luckily he does this kind of shit a lot so you aren’t running around trying to call 911

One time he snuck up on you in the shower and he almost got a broken nose, but luckily it just bled for a couple minutes and it was over

He did not learn his lesson from that and continues to to it…

He complains about your hair all the time

About how it clogs the drain and how he finds it everywhere

But he has no idea the damage his hair does

His is the real reason the drain is always clogged, and he leaves it on the shower wall, and you find wads of it in the laundry, the pockets of your pants, you’d think he’s a cat with how many hairballs of his are laying around

When you guys are walking next to each other he always bumps your shoulder with his and then smiles and looks away with a pink blush on his cheeks no matter how long you’ve been together🫶

When he’s doing literally ANYTHING no matter how experienced either of you are in it he will always fuck it up just a little bit so you’ll come help it

He’s making dinner, which is just a lazy dinner after one of his shows and he’s very experienced in making grilled cheese and frozen French fries

But he purposely burns one side “fuck, babe, can you come help me?” And then the second you get over to the stove he wraps his arms around you with a big smile, shoving his face in your neck

As annoying as he is his goal is always just to see you smile or be closer to you 🥹

Anytime he does laundry after letting it pile up and pile up he finds clothes he forgot he had and he instantly pulls the ��are these your boyfriend?”

And of course you get super annoyed and grumble

“What? Is he hotter than me? Is he better in bed?”

If he has a scratch on his back that he can’t reach and you aren’t around to itch he will just go to the nearest corner of the wall and itch his back

He’s had to try to explain him a number of times when you walk in on him rubbing against the wall groaning and going “oh that’s the spot. Finally!”

When he goes to kiss you he will give you a big romantic smile before leaning in and closing his eyes just to put his mouth around your nose. Then he pulls away “babe, your lips feel different… maybe you need chapstick.”

Or he will do something super weird and just suck your bottom lip for a second then pull away again

Or bite your tongue

He’s a weirdo but he’s my dream man!

Since you’re still in the honeymoon phase he sneaks out of bed to brush his teeth before slipping back in and acting like he woke up like that

But it’s never that easy

Because he can’t just brush his teeth quietly

Nooo

He gags as loud as ever, breathing hard as hell like he is struggling to stay alive while he brushes his tongue

Just loud ass gags coming from the bathroom then he walks back

“Oh, hey. Did you just wake up?” He smirks, sliding back into bed while he pushes your hair away from your eyes and tries to put on his bedroom eyes

But after you just heard what you could’ve almost mistaken as your dad brushing his teeth at 6am on vacation you are not in the mood

“Did you get any on your tooth brush or…?”

He’s a drink stealer

He’s a food stealer!

He will eat and drink basically anything

Constantly stealing your drinks, stealing the food right out of your hand

It’s like five day old leftovers that you see him eating over the sink like he’s a starving rat that hasn’t gotten food in months

Socks stay ON during sex! He gets cold!

He gives off the vibe as like that one episode of family guy or something when they saw the period blood in the trash can and started crying because he thought you were dying 😭😭😭

He seems like SUCH a photobomber tbh… like you cannot get one nice photo without his sticking himself in and sticking his tongue out with his eyes all lit up like the weirdo he is

Cutting it a little close but it’s still Christmas Eve here on the east coast of the US!

I’ve been a casual viewer of 911 since the beginning (watch when I remember it’s on and binge when I forget for awhile…Thanks, ADHD!) and Buck was always my favorite character. Honestly, I loved that he was a mess of a person at the beginning and that he has done the work to grow and know himself better.

I basically only read the occasional well written fic and discussed the show with @thestrangestthlng before 7x04, but when that episode aired I was in a place where I needed a distraction from the real world (where I had been dealing with health issues and just lost my dad suddenly a couple of month earlier). Buck realizing he was queer in his 30’s basically because he was so non-toxic that he didn’t realize his attraction to men wasn’t typical straight man behavior was kinda brilliant. So I decided to explore fandom where I was lucky to find a community of caring and creative people who come together to be forces for good like with this project.

(Also found some people I can let my petty and judgy side out with and sometimes that it just as necessary)

I was devastated by the suddenness of the split in 8x06 and really feel the story has left a door open to still explore all of the untapped potential of Tommy Kinard as a character and BuckTommy as a couple. And I hope they take that opportunity. It was nice seeing Buck seem to become that at-ease person he was aiming to be.

So thank you, @alliwantforchristmasislou for organizing this and this fandom for knocking that goal out of the park (yeah, I’m mixing up my sport metaphors…)

Redemption Week Tag Game

(1) Which 911 Lone Star character redemption moment is your favorite? (Feel free to interpret “redemption” as loosely as you like. This can include moments of forgiveness, moments characters proved themselves, moments characters learned from their mistakes, etc.)

As I wrote about here, I particularly love Owen's moments of redemption as he works to be a better father.

I also adore any and every moment where TK and Carlos overcome issues and grow as a couple. My favorite examples of that are 3x13 when Carlos calls Cooper and 4x12 when Carlos brings TK their lizard son.

(2) Is there a character you think deserved more of an on screen redemption moment than we got in the show?

I would have really liked to see more of this for Gabriel and his relationship with Carlos. Of course, the fact that they didn't quite manage to fully repair their relationship makes his death all the more tragic. I'm holding out hope that we'll still manage to dig into their relationship even a tiny bit more in season 5 as Carlos solves the murder.

(3) Is there a recurring (or even one-time guest) “villain” that you would like to see return with a redemption arc? Or if not, is there a “villain” you absolutely would not want to see get a redemption?

@ladytessa74 said Lorraine, and that's a great one, even though it wouldn't technically be a return. Really I just want more information about her!

I also wouldn't mind seeing Pearce again. It could be interesting to see how things could progress after the brief alliance that formed when he and Tommy had a common enemy in Paragon. I don't think Pearce will ever see eye to eye with the 126, so I think it could be really interesting to see an extension of that alliance. Maybe a situation where they were forced to work together towards a common goal.

(4) Are there any unresolved conflicts from the first four seasons that you wish were reconciled on screen?

My least favorite episode is 4x03 mostly because Carlos acts towards TK in a way that I think deserved an apology but we didn't get one. Just one little apology would have made the whole thing so much better for me! I have ultimately made my peace with it and imagined the necessary apologies myself, but seeing one on screen would have made things a lot easier.

(5) Which main character would you like to have a more developed backstory?

The character with the least backstory is definitely Nancy. I would love to see her get more developed! With a seemingly packed 12 episode season 5, I'm not sure how much hope I'm holding out for that, but I hope we'll at least get something.

However, I also want so much more Carlos. I know he's gotten a fair amount the last couple seasons, but there's a lot more I'd like to see. I particularly want to delve deeper into his relationship with his father. With Carlos solving his father's murder, I think it would be the perfect time to give us more of that!

Waking up to the same tired ass complaining about last nights episode..

Like Tommy didn’t ask Buck how HE was doing in a very concerned way.

Like Buck didn’t say that Bobby was more of a father figure than his own father.. And Tommy acknowledge it saying Buck was at least lucky to have Bobby as his Captain, because his Captain for the majority of his time with the 118, was that racist, homophobic, mysogynistic bag of excrement Gerrard, who was a lot like the father he grew up with. Where’s your acknowledgement and compassion for that traumatic childhood? Where’s Bucks?

And to clarify I am NOT clocking Buck for his actions or reactions. I’m pointing out that if YOU ALL are going to clutch your pearls and get all knotted up and shirty about Tommy’s so called “lack of understanding and compassion” it’s pretty fucking hypocritical that you clearly don’t feel Buck is lacking in both or either to Tommy here.

Also, it was Buck who steered the conversation to Daddy Issues by saying that maybe they BOTH have Daddy Issues with that goddamn dirty flirty smirk on his face.

This is a man flirting with his boyfriend…

And this is his boyfriend flirting right back..

These are two men in a relationship, a COUPLE, communicating, commiserating, and discussing their less than awesome fathers with honesty and HUMOR.

And it is sexy af they’re this comfortable with each other..

I did. I think things are looking very good for us. Tim has had every opportunity to remove or distance Eddie from Buck's story and he's not. B*mmy's seem to think that's what's happening here but it isn't. When characters and their storylines are being distanced they don't get talked about like this. And this isn't just the journalists inferring this is Tim's own words.

Tim could have distanced Buck and Eddie in s7. If Buddie wasn't happening he could and should have made 704 about Buck and T*mmy and not really included Eddie at all. But really that episode was very loudly about Buck's feelings for Eddie.

You could make the argument that Tim wanted to wait and see what the audience response was going to be to T*mmy before he made any major changes. Which he had plenty of time to do that leading up to the final two eps of s7 considering T*mmy wasn't in eps 707 and 708. 709 and 710 also went through significant rewrites before filming so there was definitely time for Tim to put more focus on B/T but he didn't. He didn't even have T*mmy at the hospital with Buck and that wouldn't have required taking time away from the other characters at all, just like a shot of him there sitting with Buck.

Consistently since B/T became a thing Tim has told us in every way imaginable that Buddie is more important and that Buddie (canon) is the goal. Even think back to how Buddie was handled vs B/T at the bachelor party. B*mmy's make all these excuses for what happened there but the main thing is Tim decided he wanted Buck and Eddie dressing up in a couple's custom. He wanted Eddie to be the one there spending the whole night with Buck not T*mmy. He easily could have had T*mmy there instead of Eddie or had it be the three of them there but he didn't.

You can tell this pattern is clearly going to continue when you read what Tim is saying about s8. We already know T*mmy is just stepping stone to Buddie, Lou himself said as much in one of his early cameos. Tim is likely going to use T*mmy for dramatic tension while Eddie has his feelings realization about Buck.

I suspected this was where Tim would go with things this season I just wasn't sure if he was going to bring Lou back after the all the drama him and his fans caused. I'm assuming he got told to stop interacting with his psycho fan base though because we now know he's coming back yet he's not been communicating with his fans at all. He likely was contracted to come back for a few eps with the stipulation he can't cause any more problems.

T*mmy will likely be around for a few eps while Eddie's storyline is getting more of the focus. Hopefully we'll get some jealous and pinning Eddie cause that would just be delicious. I don't see T*mmy lasting beyond mid season if even that. I know a lot of people aren't happy about him coming back and I'm right there with you but also as someone who has been waiting and hoping for Buddie to happen for years I've never seen it so within our grasp. This feels like it will be our year.

Writing a fic about two people one of which is an EMT and the other has Vasovagal syncope, and anxiety causing them to pass out frequently. (They have a service dog)

I was wondering what (even if off-duty) an EMT or just a person in general would be supposed to do in one of the situations when they do faint? Right now they’re still strangers so they dont want to be super confrontational about it but do want to help.

Also possibly any tips on what the service dog would do?

A faint is a brief loss of consciousness caused by a very temporary loss of bloodflow to the brain, usually due to a sudden drop in blood pressure. The faint itself is not dangerous (once someone is lying on the ground the brain gets its blood back), but certain things that cause fainting can be, for example a heart rhythm change (some options include a-fib with RVR, PSVT, V-tach, heart block causing bradycardia) or severe dehydration. The fall itself can also cause injury.

The EMT's main goals would be to make sure the person was safe, make sure it was a faint and not a seizure or other cause of unconsciousness, figure out what caused the faint, and figure out if the person was injured by the fall.

To make sure the person is safe, they are probably going to roll the person into recovery position and put something soft under their head. That way if they throw up or jerk (which can happen sometimes with fainting), they wont breathe in puke or injure themselves further.

The biggest indicator that someone fainted and didn't have a seizure or pass out from another reason is the length of time they are unconscious. With fainting, it is usually less than a minute, especially if the person falls into a lying position. So pretty much they'd wait until the person woke up, and ask them if they'd ever fainted before and if they knew the cause. While it is possible to jerk a couple of times after falling with a faint, it is not the sustained tonic-clonic action seen in a seizure. That would vaguely rule out a seizure for the EMT. If the person didn't quickly wake up, the EMT would probably call 911 or their local emergency number.

In figuring out what what caused the faint, an EMT with no equipment is basically going to be able to take a pulse, determine if it is in the normal range and whether it is regular or irregular, and take other vital signs as able, such as respirations and skin temperature, color and moisture. They would also interview the person once they woke up, asking about what happened to cause the faint, if it has happened before, etc...

Now, a person who has a service dog is probably also going to have information about their condition on them, such as a medical alert bracelet or more detailed information in a pocket on the dog's vest, which an EMT would know to look for.

In figuring out whether the person was injured by the fall, they would feel around the head for any indentations or soft spots, and do a "primary assessment" or feel briefly across the rest of the person's body for signs of injury. Once the person woke up, they would also probably ask them whether anything hurt. Fortunately, a young person falling from a standing position likely is not going to have a spinal injury, unless maybe they fell with their neck directly on something like a low fence. An EMT would also know to look for this and assess how likely it was that this happened.

As for what the service dog could do, it depends on what it was trained for. Going off the service dogs trained for people with POTS, they could alert the person that they were about to faint, they could roll them onto their side once fainted, they could go get help/call attention if trained to do so, and they could help the person to stand if they needed assistance after waking up.

Definitely an effort being made by the milder BT shippers to change how they are being perceived. Big emphasis on being positive in public. ABC posted BT as part of a ‘Kiss Cam’ video and the BTs are campaigning to flood the comments with support. Their goal is looking like healthy positive shippers while also simultaneously pretending they are the general audience? Idk. Meanwhile in ‘private’ they are declaring their victory and laughing about how they won. Because clearly this post confirms that Tommy will be around for a long time. Because whoever runs promo at ABC definitely is also a showrunner for 911. Yeah. Okay.

And yes, they are trying to rack up views on that Tommy Henren deleted scene so that it mirrors the recently posted Eddie and Chris deleted scene. Genuinely pathetic.

I did see the comments on that video a lot, but half of the couples there don't end up together as I've been informed, tbh I only knew bt, Barney and Robin, and Blaine and Kurt (and personal opinion Barney and Robin should've ended up together and Blaine and Kurt shouldn't) but that's a kiss cam video were they are using a diversity of kisses, but sure. I did notice the numbers on the Tommy scene go up, which is kinda insane behavior.

Um so for Krey she’s basically a homeless assassin who wanders around other factions to get money by getting clients and killing the clients enemy or stuff.

But the entire lore for her is under here:

krey was born in the crescent faction. but her parents had moved into lost temple, where her younger brother (xiphos but i'll call him the younger brother) was born.

kreys mother loved her younger brother, while her father loved her. both the parents loved their kids, but krey was usually bullied by her younger brother, since both of her parents are divorced.

her younger brother was always the spoiled brat, having things that krey didn't have. krey just allowed this behaviour from her younger brother and thought it was normal, so she thought he'd grow out of this when he got older, he had scratched her face giving her facial scars when she was 13 As a joke.

than one day, when krey's father visited their mother with krey, when she and her father entered the house and she saw her mothers dead body. her mother had been killed by someone. their father had started to dial 911 and weeps into the phone while explaining whats happening, while he covers his daughters eyes from the body.

there was a crime scene at the house, and her mother was pronounced dead. their father, krey and her younger brother had held a funeral for their mother.. krey hated her mother and younger brother but she still cared for them, she didn't know why.. kreys mother gave her younger brother everything, but doesn't really care about krey or her husband, which lead the couple into arguments which lead to the divorce.

her younger brother was convinced that krey was the one who killed their mother, which was the main leading cause of the psychological abuse. making krey feel less confident, anxiety developing in her, having no friends since her younger brother convinced everyone at school, that she killed their mother and is a killer, which lead krey to having no friends.. and when she was around 15 years old she tried to comment suicide. her only way of coping was either drawing or painting.

after a few years, their father had decided to move in with their grandparents back in moonlit forest. where krey continued to endure the psychological abuse from her younger brother. krey had grown into thinking that this was normal.

But when her brother was 16 and continued the psychological abuse on her. Their father had caught on of what was going on. And had sent her brother to her uncles to live with them.

krey had a trauma block where she forgot her younger brothers face which is a reaction that is where the brain blocks out the traumatic events. this is a natural defence mechanism that the brain uses to protect the victim from the trauma. the goal is to protect oneself from the trauma they experienced.

krey is suffering from depression and is still suffering from depression. As she has no one to talk to about her trauma.

she has also suffered from anxiety and still suffers from anxiety, as she gets overwhelmed whenever she talks to other people especially in crowded areas, along with being called out to answer something.

krey is also a people pleaser, where she pleases people at her own expense. as she has the fear of rejection from others. this makes krey very easy to take advantage of.

when she was 20 she had left the household, where she joined a assassin group. she was trained as a assassin. going on missions with her teammates. she also had a custom made nightsong swords, she was also given a shadow walker pup where she raised the pup as a companion and training it. after a few years if being a assassin she left the group where she went back to lost temple, to start looking for jobs. she moved place to place so she wouldn't get caught by the authorities. Leaving her homeless she has met both scythe/rifle and vinestaff but that'll be explained soon.

krey lost her left eye when she was training with a teammate of hers, and the teammate accidentally took her eye out by swinging their dagger at her left eye. where krey was sent to the healers, and the remnants of her eye were removed and her eye got stitched.

And during this time. Her tails claw was in a mild state of rotting caused by a uncommon disease called ‘talious exfondria’ where a part of a tail on a demon starts to rot and eats its way through the tail. Tho it’s not that harmful it’s still irritating to have. This can only be contracted by unsanitary conditions or by being transmitted by someone with the beginning infections/symptoms of the disease. And can be removed by surgically removing it from the tail. As this happened with Krey. Her tails claw had started to rot away being in the mid stage where it’s mildly rotting away. So she needed to get surgery to remove it. But she couldn’t because of her being an assassin. So she went to medkit to have her tails claw surgically removed.

she usually has a cloak on so she could hide her identity, she travelled by riding her shadow walker, across the deserts of lost temple. she usually worked for gangs or mafia to get money, she doesn't have a home to live in lost temple. Usually sleeping in alleyways with her mount or sleeping under big rocks.

when krey lost her left arm, she was forced to return back to the crescent faction with no choice but to find help. krey would faint from the blood loss, waking up in a random strangers house in a forest. She was all healed up. Her left arm still attached as if she didn’t loose her left arm. But there was an arm bracelet on her left arm. But later revealed by the stranger that her left arm was an illusion but works like a real arm. And the arm bracelet was made out of magic. Although the stranger wasn’t a special one, they just found the arm bracelet. using it on her arm to save her.

She suffers from PTSD. Because of how severe the abuse was, she always gets nightmares of her abuser, every single night. She can’t have a normal night without these nightmares. Making her resort to not sleeping at all, Making her become sleep deprived. She avoids the subject about her past or anything that relates to the trauma that she faced during her childhood, Avoiding people that look like her abuser.

She’s more on guard when she’s with people or alone, She gets frightened more easily. At how severe the abuse was. Her brain has caused her to forget important aspects of her past.

She has difficulty feeling positive emotions.

She gets flashbacks whenever something or someone reminds her of her past.

She gets more irritated or has angry outbursts more now. Making her develop anger issues.

She has a lot of negative thoughts about herself.

She forgot who her abuser looked like.

As for how she deals with the trauma

krey has trust issues, along with reoccurring nightmares about her abuse she endured in the past. krey still uses art to cope with her trauma, usually sketching or painting. tho she paints or sketches under trees, in glow berry forests or somewhere hidden where no one would find her.
