You’re Also A Musician (Fluff?)
ShellsTourAU!Turtles x reader
Tumblr media
A/N: In case any of you are wondering what the hell Thunderdome is, then I can tell you it is a party held in the city of Antwerpen in Belgium, and is very much tied to the grabber culture in the Netherlands. I will really recommend you look up the videos from the 1997 Thunderdome party, and while you watch that video, I would like you to know that, that is how parties at my high school looked like, and I went to high school in 2018 to 2021. The only difference being that instead of buzz cuts, guys in Denmark tend to have what we call curtain hair, and they don’t play grabber, but another hard bass genre called dakke dak, and do the bass arm instead of the hakken dance. Anyway, have fun with this one guys💚

Warnings: A little bit of drinking, but other than that none💚

Leonardo:
Tumblr media
Around the same time Leo and his brothers were getting their first footing in the music industry with their first major single, you had already slowly been making a name for yourself as a solo artist, with at least one number 1 hit in your home country.
You were known for making this sort of upbeat and happy music that many had gotten familiar with during the late 80’s. That meant a lot of synthesiser, drum machines, and a small one word choir.
You and Leo’s first meeting was one of those chance interactions, that only could come about because both of you happened to know someone, who knew someone, and now here you were, finding yourself in a deep conversation, which you both had been missing a lot in your new careers. You meet in a studio, where you happened to be working just down the hall from one another, resulting in you and him falling into conversation whenever you passed each other. It got to the point where Raph had to walk out and drag Leo back into the recording studio, in order to get any work done that day. However you would still find a way to see each other.
You and Leo started to work together on songs. Leo would help write yours and you would give him and his brothers ideas, causing the two of you to be written in the credits of each other’s songs.
It wasn’t long after that Leo invited you out on a date, and before you knew it, you were in a committed relationship. And it didn’t take long for the media to notice that as well, with rumors and questions swirling around, before the two of you had made anything official. It got to the point where paparazzis tried to take pictures of the two of you in secret. All they got from that, was a now infamous picture, of Leo giving a middle finger to the camera. When asked about it, he said he was just pointing upwards.
You and Leo finally made your relationship official, around the time you came out with yet another single that Leo had helped you write. And with that, you and Leo became one of the most popular couples on the front of gossip papers.
Raphael:
Tumblr media
When you and Raphael first met, you were no strangers to each other. You were the lead singer in a rock band, which Raph had found himself listening to time and time again. And you had long been listening to Raph and his brothers in TMNT. So when the two of you finally met, you were mildly starstruck, showing a nervousness that was almost uncharacteristic.
Your first in person meeting happened at an award show, where you and Raph happened to have been seated next to each other. And there you sat throughout most of the show, with Raph and his brothers to your left, and the rest of your band to your right. And you had a great time with Raph, both of you whispering to each other, trying your best not to laugh or giggle at the people around you.
The next day you and Raph was a hot topic, with rumors and pictures of you and Raph at the award show in every gossip blotter there was: “Is (Y/N) (L/N)  from (B/N) and Raphael Hamato from TMNT dating?”, “Is there love in the air?”, “Flirting at the award show; is there something (Y/N) and Raphael would like to tell us?” and it just went on and on from there.
You and Raph kept in close contact after the award show, giggling and laughing and at all the headlines you could find, talking about the two of you. But as the two of you giggled and laughed, resting your feet on the coffee table, reading out the headlines and articles, neither of you were ready to admit how you wished the headlines were real. You and Raph had started to crush on each other behind closed doors, and was just waiting and gathering the courage to tell one another.
Then finally, after months of you and Raph meeting and hanging out in secret, you finally started dating. And with you and Raph going out for dates, it was only a matter of time before a picture of the two of you kissing, on your way home from a dinner date, was on the front covers. And with that, you two were out in public as a couple.
Donatello:
Tumblr media
You were part of a girl pop group that had been popular for years, throwing out one smash hit after another, sharting number one in several countries around the world. So when Donnie and his brothers smashed through with their first hit and became a world wide name, he very much knew who you were and what you did.
It had long - even before their music careers took off - been a running joke between Donnie’s brothers, that you and Donnie one day would get married. In response Donnie would throw something light at them and tell them to shut up, trying his best to hide the small smile that was fighting to take hold of his lips.
However the first time there ever was talks about you and Donnie meeting each other, was after you and your group did an interview with MTV, where one of your band members had let it slip that you had a celebrity crush on a member of TMNT. That of course caused the interviewer's eyes to go wide with dollar signs, before they asked you about it. And that was when you let the cat out of the bag, and told the whole wide world that you were crushing on the mutant in purple.
The tabloids picked up on the story straight away, asking the all important question; when were you and Donnie going to have your first date? It quickly became this public thing, with a few people even betting on time, day and location.
In the end, a radio show took over while having Donnie and his brothers in the studio. And to the sound of Leo, Raph and Mikey’s calls at a much flustered Donnie, the host called you, so that the world once and for all, could get a long awaited answer to the question.
It was during that interview that you and Donnie agreed to plan out a date in private. And it was that date that would be the start to you and Donnie’s long lasting relationship.
Michelangelo:
Tumblr media
You and Michelangelo’s relationship was one of those that everyone had seen coming from several miles away, and surprised absolutely no one when it became official.
You were a somewhat well known rave and techno DJ in the community, often rubbing shoulders with many other well known or up and coming DJs from all over the world. You were especially popular in parts of Europe, with your more experimental music often associated with growing music trends on the European continent.
In 1992 you found yourself as one of the headliners at the Thunderdome party in Antwerpen in Belgium, where you finally came through with some more grabber inspired music. It was here that you met Michelangelo. After your set, Mikey and a few of his friends came up to talk to you and your friends. From here you had a few drinks and enjoyed the rest of the part together.
When it came out that 18 year old and American Michelangelo Hamato from the TMNT had been drinking and partying in Belgium alongside an 18 year old DJ, there was a little bit of a scandal surrounding it, with some righteous parents doing what they do best, and scream up about how the music of TMNT was no longer suitable for their children to hear, and how the four it boys of the US were becoming a bad influence. But the thing more people were talking about, was the question on everybody’s lips. Who was that DJ Mikey had been partying with, before spending two weeks with them in Europe?
People were quick to put two and two together, and came to the conclusion that you and Mikey were seeing each other. However, people were still wondering who you were.
They finally got the answer to that question around a year later, when Mikey was asked about you in an interview. It was here that he officially made it known that your name was (Y/N), and that you in fact was his partner. And to no one's surprise, the gossip papers the next day all read the headline “It was true all along; Michelangelo has a partner!”

Daniel Watches She-Ra
& The Princesses Of Power
-S1E3- 'Razz'
Todays' She-Ra Watchthrough Art: Look I have been having a real shit week or so let me just bullshit this one thanks
Tumblr media
Dumb question but why is Glimmers mom British? Also this is probably just me but it looks like her wings are attached to her hair & I can't stop thinking about it.
Tumblr media
Oh also yo the theme song?
Yeah that's pretty swell.
A big step up from the original cartoon which was just.....sad? It's just like a sad attempt of being a cool retro cartoon theme song. It fails to live up to any of the greats of decades past.
TMNT 87? Iconic. Badass. Groovy. Radical.
Transformers? Iconic as well. Absolutely fucks.
The Super Mario Bros. Super Show? Fucking ART that makes Hans Zimmer look like an absolute fucking dork.
Sonic Underground? LITERALLY THE GREATEST FUCKING PIECE OF MUSIC EVER COMPOSED BY MANKIND.
80s She-Ra? It's like watching a cat spray diarrhea across my carpet for a solid minute. It's just sad.
Okay so I literally don't know any of their names but uh-
These two. These two evil goons right here.
Are-
Tumblr media
Okay so are they like gay? I don't know why but my brain saw this & went "Is this dude dating that lizard? are they going to smooch?"
I have no evidence or any proof to back up my claim here.
But I'm gonna just assume these two are gay & smooching & holding hands & stuff.
Anyways these goon squad characters are lame, also fuck that one girl who was bullying Cat-Ra, like, damn. The fuck is her problem?
Like leave that cat alone she's a fucking cat. Who bullies a cat??
Fuck you!!
Yeah so the only two goons I find myself enjoying are these two because I just get a strong feeling that they might be gay.
Again, I have no proof or evidence. But I'm gonna just say that they are anyway because I decided that I want to & you can't stop me.
Tumblr media
Also one of them is a lizard dude. Like I said, that objectively makes him cool as fuck because reptiles are rad as hell.
ALSO GLIMMER & ADORA ARE SO GAY??
Tumblr media
LIKE- OKAY FIRST OFF THIS POSE ABOVE THIS SENTENCE? THAT AIN'T A POSE OF A STRAIGHT PERSON. SHE'S AT THE VERY LEAST BI OR LESBIAN OR SOMETHING. BUT NAH THAT POSE IS GIVING ME VERY HEAVY FAG VIBES /POS
GOD THEY'RE GAY THEY'RE GAY THEY ARE GIRLFRIENDS IDC
Tumblr media
I fucking squealed at this they're SO IN LOVE AAAAAA
GOD THEY ARE SO GAY
SHE'S BEING SO GAY JUST TALKING ABOUT ADORA/SHE-RA
GAY?? GAY
REAL
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
IF THEY DONT KISS & HOLD HANDS BY THE END IM GOING TO PISS ON MY NEIGHBOURS MAILBOX
POV: Glimmer introduces you to her wife (she's magic & can become very tall & glows bc she's just cool like that)
Tumblr media
Also I like, find She-Ra so fucking funny from the design itself?
She's just.....tall. She's a tall lass. Big. Large. Massive. A Tree.
Like, the fact that she's just....big. Like this is a needed change for her transformation. Being taller is an essential part of it.
One of her magical powers is just being really tall I guess. Like that's part of the transformation, she gets BIG. So that's just considered a power, because it makes her taller.
Being a tall fuck is considered a magical ability in this universe.
Also why did this episode just turn into Pixars' Brave (2012) for the middle part? I'm not upset I'm just confused bc I didn't expect to be hit with this sudden flashback to 2012 shit. But I like this old lady.
But (good job daniel you used but twice in a row, you're so good at writing you stupid fucking idiot-) I just kept being reminded of Brave while watching. I don't know if that's a good thing or not. I haven't watched Brave in like a decade. Like, damn though, this part just reminded me of it a lot & I feel it's worth mentioning.
Tumblr media
I should rewatch Brave sometime.
AHEM-
SHE'S SO FUCKING CUTE I WANT TO CRY SHE'S LITERALLY THE SCRUNKLY SCRIMBLO BLORBO AND ALSO A FAGGOT. I LOVE HER. PROTECT THIS SPARKLY FAGGOT & HER MAGICAL WIFE.
GRAHHHHHHH
Tumblr media
Whore-Dak Update:
Okay Hordak, you get points just because you told Shadow Weaver to go fuck herself. That's incredibly based & awesome of you. To not only tell the wizard bitch to shove her stupid fucking shadow magic fart clouds up her ass. But you also were like "Hey angry lesbian cat, you get a promotion because you're epic" & that's so real.
I respect a villain who doesn't bully cats for no reason.
(other than because you're a huge bitch cough shadow cunt cough)
Tumblr media
You're still nowhere near being Skeletor. But you are definitely a far better villain than the original 80s Hordak was. Keep it up buddy.

Books I Read In 2022 (and by read I mean actually liked)
Hani and Ishu's Guide to Fake Dating by Adiba Jaigirdar
“Hani slips her fingers into mine and, for the umpteeth time, I’m surprised at all of the ways the two of us fit together. All the ways I never expected us to fit together in a million years.”
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5.25 STARS)
SPOILERS BELOW!!!
What a difference a year can make! I want to preface this by saying that I absolutely adore The Henna Wars, but there was a significant change in Adiba Jaigirdar’s writing in this book that I was very very happy about. I thought that the pacing of the story was much better and I think that it definitely stands on its own. I was a little worried about the stories in both books being too similar when that was most certainly not the case. There are similar themes for sure, but as someone who read both books back-to-back and in one sitting, I can assure you Hani and Ishu’s story is very different from Nishat's (and Flávia’s).
Before I start gushing over how cute Hani and Ishu are, I want to take a second to talk about them individually.
=>Hani
I love Humaira ‘Hani’ Khan with all my heart! I connected to both Hani and Ishu on a very deep and personal level, but Hani especially as a fellow Bangali. Obviously, there were little things like the no sleepovers rule (which yeah Hani lied about, but it’s very much so a thing that to this day I still don’t understand). Or dawats! Most of my family friends and I are adults now, so we unfortunately don’t have dawats the way we used to when we were younger, so this little tidbit definitely had me reminiscing a little. There was this one part in the book where I think Hani said something about there not being an Irish equivalent to a dawat and my dumb brain immediately thought of doing the Irish goodbye at a dawat. I put the book down and laughed about this for at least half an hour because if you know anything about desi parties, then you would know that a South Asian goodbye is probably the polar opposite of the Irish goodbye.
Okay, wait, I need to rant about Hani’s name because I don’t even think that Nishat or Priti were given dak naams. Ishu’s frustration about the nickname Hani’s friends gave her is so fucking real y’all. Yes, it’s cute when friends have nicknames for each other, but you shouldn’t be using a nickname as an excuse to not properly pronounce your childhood best-friend’s name like what the actual fuck. And it’s like, because they call her that, so do most if not all of the other students. Like Ishu said, it’s literally one extra syllable. If Hani can learn how to pronounce Aisling and Dierdre, they can learn how to say Humaira. Also, I don’t know about other Bangalis who read the book, but there is a certain way that I was pronouncing Hani in my head, so I felt incredibly vindicated when we learned that Hani’s family is in fact Sylheti.
I absolutely loved Hani’s relationship with her parents! I personally thought her off-screen coming-out story (not a spoiler, I swear!) was executed better than Nishat’s, and not really because Hani’s parents were so supportive from the get-go, but because of the conversation between Hani and her mom specifically where she explains what their thought process was when Hani first came out. We never really got that with Nishat’s parents, it was more like they were very unhappy about their daughter’s sexuality for like 80% of the book and then suddenly changed their minds with absolutely no context. Hani’s parents were so supportive and made her feel comfortable enough to share her problems with them, while also being firm when she was in the wrong. I think that’s why they were such a good foil to Ishu’s parents, but more about them later.
I was actually very surprised by how prominent Hani’s relationship to Islam was in the book. My own relationship with Islam is obviously very different from hers. Even when I lived in Bangladesh, I saw very few people around me actually pray or insist that I do the same, so I’ve never been connected to religion the way Hani is. To me, it’s almost like it’s the one thing she can always depend on. Hani’s religion is the safest constant in her life, so it hurt every time she would mention having to hide that part of herself away from her friends.
Now, we all know Hani is a bit pushover and throughout the book, she unfortunately let her friends and others get away with a lot of bullshit (which was totally understandable, albeit heartbreaking). But the little moments that let you see that she’s got a little bite to her made me so happy! Like at Dee’s birthday party when everyone was being so shitty to her and someone said something like “Do you need a special kind of pizza?” and she hit back immediately with, “So do you, you’re a vegetarian” and then she said that she’d ask Dee to provide an alternative. Like, my girl said kill ‘em with kindness and she was so real for that. Or when Aisling said something about ‘heterophobia’ and Hani snapped at her? Brilliant, amazing, fantastic, no notes.
Okay, let’s talk about Hani’s shitty ass friends. One of these days, Aisling and Deirdre will get punched in the throat and it might not be by Hani or even Ishu, but it sure as hell will be me or Nik. This felt so much worse than Chyna’s betrayal to Nishat when they were younger because Hani was friends with these girls her entire life and all she’s ever done is try to stay friends with them. They’ve known each other since they were kids and that’s definitely hard to let go of, but in some situations, it’s just inevitable. When Adiba Jaigirdar said ‘toxic friendships’ in the trigger warning, maybe I should’ve taken her more seriously because it was so hard to have to see Hani go through what she did with those two. The joy I felt when she finally stood up for herself and got away from that situation was just unreal.
=>Ishu
Ishita Dey - my sun, my stars, my long-lost twin! Ishu and I have almost the exact same personality in that we’re both very angry all the time. I was surprised to see us start off with her point of view because in my head, since Hani was the one to suggest fake dating, we’d get her perspective first to build up to that point, but I do see why we started off with Ishu. But anyway, back to Ishu. I love that her grumpy, take no shit, almost antagonistic personality is set up from the get-go. And so much of that starts to make more sense once we meet her family.
Let’s talk about Ishu’s parents. Fuck them. They’re not good parents at all because the expectations they put on their daughters are very much so one of the more extreme examples of desi parents. They’re so neglectful of their daughters’ emotional needs and the fact that their egos were bruised is a good enough reason for them to completely write Nik off the way they did was infuriating. Ishu absolutely has second-child syndrome because of them, and it’s only heightened when her parents set their sights on her as their new golden child. Their parenting not only fucked with both Ishu and Nik as people, but it damaged their relationship when they were young as well.
Okay, now let’s talk about one of my favourite supporting characters ever - Nikhita Dey aka Nik aka she eldest daughtered so hard that now she’s come back with a vengeance to save her little sister before their parents can do any more damage than they already have. Not gonna lie, I was lowkey wary of Nik just because of how Ishu had described their relationship, but she surprised me in the best way possible. Also, there was this quote from her - “A PowerPoint of why Aisling is a bitch.” (icon behaviour)
=>Hani & Ishu
I love everything about them! I knew going in this was enemies-to-lovers adjacent along with fake dating, but nobody told me it was grumpyxsunshine?!
Hani was so down bad for Ishu, it was the cutest thing! Her dressing up for Ishu and then Ishu not even noticing will never stop being funny to me. But Ishu’s also crushing so hard, as seen in this moment specifically from one of their “dates” - Ishu literally staring at Hani eat and then saying “Okay, don’t have a fucking orgasm from that hot chocolate.” Like, Ishu please she’s fragile.
I think something else I appreciated was Ishu doing what she thought were simple, practically bare minimum things like looking up Halal places to go eat for Hani, which Hani was literally floored by. It is so clear that she’s such a people pleaser that no one had ever thought to put her needs first, and then Ishu’s love language is just being aggressively accommodating.
Their sleepover/sharing a bed scene was super cute, albeit brief.
I have a lot more that I think I want to say about this book, but it’s hard for me to put into words because these characters and their relationship mean so much to me. (brb gonna go listen to my playlist and cry, please join me x)
Also, shout out one of my favourite dedications from any author ever: “To all the Bengali kids who grew up never seeing a reflection of themselves.”

Josh Allen Signs Record-Breaking $250M Guaranteed Contract with Buffalo Bills
Buffalo, NY – The Buffalo Bills have taken a decisive step in solidifying their future, signing star quarterback Josh Allen to a groundbreaking six-year, $330 million contract extension. This historic deal guarantees Allen an unprecedented $250 million, making it the largest guaranteed contract in NFL history. The extension surpasses the previous record of $230 million, held by Deshaun Watson, and cements Allen’s place as the cornerstone of Buffalo’s ambitions.
A Statement of Commitment
Buffalo’s front office left no doubt about their commitment to Allen. General Manager Brandon Beane emphasized that the organization prioritized locking in their leader for years to come.
“We know what Josh means to this team and this city,” Beane said. “He’s more than just our quarterback—he’s the heartbeat of the franchise. This deal ensures we continue building a championship-caliber team around him.”
With this extension, Allen, who was previously under contract until 2028, is now secured through 2030. By the time his new deal reaches its final year, he’ll be 34, still well within his prime and ready to lead Buffalo in pursuit of its first-ever Super Bowl title.
Why Allen Deserves This Historic Deal
Allen’s dominance on the field speaks for itself. During the 2024 season, he achieved a statistical milestone never seen before: at least 25 passing touchdowns, 10 rushing touchdowns, and fewer than 10 interceptions in a single season. His final numbers—28 passing TDs, 12 rushing TDs, and just six interceptions—highlighted his improved efficiency and decision-making.
Over his first seven seasons, Allen has compiled 260 total touchdowns, the most by any player in that span—29 more than Patrick Mahomes. His 65 career rushing touchdowns are also the highest among quarterbacks, solidifying him as one of the most dynamic dual-threat signal-callers in league history.
However, it’s not just his stats that make Allen invaluable. His leadership and command of the locker room have been instrumental in Buffalo’s resurgence as a perennial contender. Head coach Sean McDermott praised Allen’s ability to elevate the entire team.
“Josh’s presence alone raises the standard,” McDermott said. “His leadership, work ethic, and passion drive us forward. He’s the kind of player that teammates rally behind, and that’s what makes him special.”
Super Bowl Aspirations: The Next Step
Despite all of Allen’s success, there’s one box left unchecked: winning a Super Bowl. The Bills reached the AFC Championship Game in 2024 but once again fell short against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. With an 0-4 postseason record against Mahomes, Allen remains laser-focused on overcoming this hurdle.
“We’re not done yet,” Allen said after the season. “This team, this city—we deserve a championship. And I’ll do everything in my power to make it happen.”
To support Allen’s championship aspirations, Buffalo has made key roster moves, including new contract extensions for defensive end Greg Rousseau (four years, $80 million), linebacker Terrel Bernard (four years, $50 million), and wide receiver Khalil Shakir (four years, $53 million). Additionally, offensive coordinator Joe Brady is returning for another season, ensuring continuity and stability for Allen and the offense.
Where Allen’s Deal Stands Among the NFL’s Elite
Allen’s historic contract places him atop the list of highest guaranteed money in NFL history. Here’s how his deal stacks up against other top quarterbacks:
Player
Guaranteed Money
Josh Allen
$250 million
Deshaun Watson
$230 million
Dak Prescott
$229.4 million
Joe Burrow
$219 million
Despite narrowly missing a first-team All-Pro selection, Allen was named the 2024 NFL MVP, joining John Elway (1987) and Steve McNair (2003) as the only quarterbacks to win the award without that distinction.
More impressively, Allen set an NFL record with five consecutive seasons of at least 40 combined passing and rushing touchdowns. No other quarterback has reached that mark more than four times, with only Aaron Rodgers surpassing it in total seasons.
Buffalo’s Future Hinges on Allen’s Leadership
The Bills have consistently remained among the AFC’s top teams, but their ultimate goal remains elusive. By securing Allen long-term, Buffalo is banking on him to finally deliver the franchise’s first Super Bowl championship.
Allen has already earned his place among Buffalo’s all-time greats, alongside legends like Thurman Thomas and O.J. Simpson. However, his legacy will be defined by whether he can bring a Lombardi Trophy to Western New York.
With the 2025 season approaching, expectations are sky-high. The Bills have made their move—now it’s up to Allen to deliver.

Winkelcentrum Keizerswaard in 1969.
