Literally Amogus story

The fucking bit where he grabs Donna's hand and presses it against his chest so she can focus on his heart beats and calm down.

That same bit where he aggressively reassures her that they're going to be ok bc she looks like she's on the verge of tears

Not only "Doctor not straight confirmed" but also Donna doing that thing that at least 30% of everybody's mom did when they came out, going "yeah but like we been knew bestie"

THIS EPISODE WAS SO TENSE. ONE OF THE SCARIEST!

Classic Doctor Who mystery structure that starts with a point of intrigue (the robot), dismisses the point of intrigue, and ends with that point of intrigue, tying it together like a satin red bow

The Doctor is so soft and tries to open up about his Feelings (TM) to Imposter!Donna, thinking that she's the real Donna

The resulting anguish and rage when he realizes that his trauma was not only was exploited, but that he also expressed a very deep and very guarded part of himself to a stranger wearing his best friend's face (ouch)

"If I had a nickle for every time the Doctor incorrectly guessed which Donna was the real Donna, I would have two nickles. Which isn't a lot but its weird that it happened twice"
