On 6 January 2016, Wayan Mirna Salihin died in Abdi Waluyo Hospital after drinking a Vietnamese iced coffee at the Olivier Cafe in the Grand Indonesia shopping mall in Jakarta. According to the police, cyanide poisoning was most likely the cause of Mirna's death. Police charged Jessica Kumala Wongso with her murder. Jessica was found guilty of the murder and was sentenced to 20 years. Jessica's appeal was later rejected by the higher court.

The case became the most famous and phenomenal murder case in 2016 in Indonesia, with the Indonesian media covering the case extensively. The ruling of the case was televised on national television and watched by millions of Indonesians.

making the mistake of feeding plumber!ghost because he'd been fiddling with the pipe beneath your sink for quite a while and you'd only figured that you'd be a good host (?) and give him something to drink, at most offer him a granola bar or something but now you're shakily making him his third sandwich of the afternoon with extra sandwich meat ("don't skimp on it. man like me's gotta eat.")

you don't know whether he's gonna eat you out of your house and home or the skirt you'd put on to water your front yard earlier. by the way he pat your upper thighs (too close to your arse) when you'd have poured him a glass of freshly squeezed juice, you'd say the latter.

"c'mere. 'ave a seat," he pats his left leg as he says so, his right extended and placed on the only other chair you own.

(the moment you come within reach because the juice isn't going to refill itself, he pulls you to his lap anyway.)

i love how sometimes, despite all the medical advancements of the 21st century, the only thing that relieves pain is sitting/laying/standing in a weird position because it places/doesn't place pressure on certain spots

Im trying to streamline my art process a little, so i did this in under 1 hour as a challenge :D

trying a very different approach to color ala tim mcburnie style and it's making me melt. figured i'd share it bc Idk it's more complicated but I like the way it's making me think/plan

thumbnail and rough sketch that i liked so much i turned it into....

and then made several color thumbnails/messed around w them for awhile

until finally settled on this one

and then

so the current foliage lines look like this and they're on 11 different layers (i'll merge some to be back, mid and forground in a bit)

(i also started on solas' head just ignore it for now)

and next step is really spend more time on the construction layer for lavellan and the wolf statue (solas is ready to be lined bc i drew him first)

then color with flats using quick masks instead of by hand like i'm used to c:

this is all wayyyy more layers than i'm used to but I do kind of like it so far; particularly the color thumbnail and construction layer/phase part

pros : cats are once again the underdogs bc most people will want the oilers to win so that’s good for our Narrative, which is ofc where we draw our strength from 😌

cons : we are facing yet another series of disrespect. “skinner is pulling off incredible saves!” meanwhile bob is standing on his head in net just casually winning yet another vezina trophy. they will not Shut Up about mcdavid leon soul bond when sam matty are literally right there. matty will be simplified to the bare bones of the battle of alberta rivalry even if he’s very clearly left it behind and has been therapy-ed by the florida sun and is tanned and thriving. they will ignore the narrative of first panthers scp win to talk endlessly about it being mcdavid’s first scp final appearance, prophesied boy king that he is. they will belittle us in every way possible 😔

how long does it take you to doodle those little ask comics??? istg you churn them out at the speed of light

uhhh like an half n hour maybe? depends on the little comic, they’re relatively small and I don’t focus too much on things looking g r e a t, so it’s fairly easy to get it from concept to paper.
