Best Day since 2022: Stocks rallied sharply on Wednesday, with major benchmarks hitting record highs, as Donald Trump won the 2024 presidential election.
"more stimulus to the U.S. economy and benefit risk assets. … During the 2016 election, the S&P 500 Index gained nearly 5% from the day before the presidential election through the end of the year in what became known as the Trump rally. We expect a similar trend could play out this time around, too,” Marc Pinto, head of Americas equities at Janus Henderson Investors, said in a note.
Stock market news for Nov. 6, 2024
The Dow Jones Industrial Average surged 1,508.05 points, or 3.57%, to a record close of 43,729.93. The last time the blue-chip Dow jumped more than 1,000 points in a single day was in November 2022.
The S&P 500 also hit an all-time high, popping 2.53% to 5,929.04. The Nasdaq Composite climbed 2.95% to a record of its own of 18,983.47.
Bitcoin, which could benefit from relaxed regulation, soared to an all-time high and topped $76,000. The dollar index climbed to its highest level since July on the belief that Trump’s proposed tariffs against major U.S. trading partners would boost the greenback.

She is incredibly skilled in sewing and even has a fashion brand under her name at DCA. Her family’s clothing apparel is well known in a number of kingdoms. When working, she gets a fiery look in her eyes and will rush to her workspace and make the clothes with the help of magic and some precision with a needle.
Due to her noble upbringing, she carries herself in a lady-like manner. Always keeping her hand folded when she sits, greets with a bow, uses words that are graceful and sweet, and many other things. Which means she is also knowledgeable regarding trends in social circles.
She isn’t really brave nor is she assertive, if faced with someone aggressive she just runs away. And she’s so quick like a mouse that no one can catch up to her. Yelling will cause her to freeze up, it was a habit that never went away after the abuse she suffered under her first stepmother.
Has a skill for marketing, she focuses on what makes the product good and presents it to the client by flattering their style and recommending a set suited for them without offending the person.
Any other topic other than her interests makes her mind blank though, she keeps quiet until the topic is something she knows.
Whenever she changes clothes, she quickly starts with changing stockings as she still feels insecure with her leg scars. She would rather endure the hot weather in stockings rather than show the scars. It sometimes throbs with subtle pain.
Hometown: Glasswork Kingdom
Family Life
Ella spent her early years in a loving embrace of her birth mother and her father. The two often pampered their daughter with plenty of cute gifts and toys but the most treasured gift Ella kept was a jewelry set of baby blue birds made by her mother before she passed. She often gazes upon it to remember her mother.
When her father remarried to Lucille, her life was spent in abuse. Constantly being tormented by her step siblings and getting punished for every little mistake by her step mother. The servants feared Lucille as she would threaten their jobs and flaunting how she has connections that will cause trouble to their families. Until a servant had enough and told the Gaspard of what has been happening while he was away.
Gaspard was ashamed of himself for letting such a terrible woman in to his household to threaten his servants and his precious daughter. He filed for a lawsuit and this was the first time that he wasn’t timid or gentle. His eyes were cold as he stared down the Luciferia family, this was the first time he’s ever felt such anger.
He became protective of Ella and often had background checks on new people he hired and closed himself from any women who he assumed was just aiming for his wealth and title.
Ella slowly recovered but there were still traces of trauma, but she tries her best to be better so she wouldn’t worry her father. She was glad he met another woman who was genuinely caring but she still struggles to open up, yet she hopes to overcome the past to finally be a happy family again.
Childhood Memories
Ella’s memories of her mother are quite few, considering that she was very young when she passed but she wants to keep those memories alive by talking to the servants who worked for her mother, asking her father as well as looking through the photo albums. She feared that forgetting her mother’s memories would be like throwing away a cherished family member.
There was one memory that she always liked to hear about, it was when she was but a toddler in her two’s that she shocked both parents when she dragged some silk onto an unfinished dress and the parents realizing that the color Ella picked looked better. Gaspard always questions how genetically gifted Ella’s talent was for fashion.
During the time where she suffered under the Luciferia family, the fear and trauma was ingrained into her and she would flinch or freeze up if anyone held a stick or something close to that near her. Her father had trusted family doctors, who are sworn to keep the leg scars between them, to look after and help Ella mentally recover.
It took almost a year and a half but Ella was able to act normally again with the help of doctors, though loud yelling and arguments still unnerve her. She can handle herself a bit better.
Ella is a 2nd year Glastanzerin student and is the current dorm leader.
She always admired the story of the Maiden of the Glass Shoe, being sorted into her dream dorm made her so happy. Ella is known in the dorm for her family name as well as skills, she has such a fast and nimble way of sewing using minimal amounts of magic. Not anyone can just replicate her dresses.
She has a lot of commissions in school and every single order has been made with plenty of care and caters to the customer’s taste always.
More often than not, Ella likes to discuss with the dorm students about the latest trends that the girls would keep their ears open whenever Ella gives fashion advice.
There were times that Ella would spend her downtime feeding her mice and other wild animals to unwind. Sometimes even having a tea party consisting of mainly animals, it wasn’t odd to anyone who studies in DCA but to outsiders it may be weird.
The dorm students are quite protective of Ella and will not tolerate any disrespect, Ella has no idea how scary her dorm students get when there is an unpleasant person confronting her.
Ella has quite high grades due to the tutors her father hired. Though her worst subject is PE due to her lack of physical training as well as the fact due to the scars on her legs, she finds it difficult to keep up. She dislikes feeling sweaty after doing exercises, if it was yoga then she’d have no problem however.
School Relationships
Ella gets along with mostly everyone due to her sweet nature and the tendency to provide news on the latest trends. As a noble, she is also decent in academics, her best grades are on dance, music and sewing. PE is her worst subject as she always gets sore after just one class, she also feels uncomfortable when she reeks of sweat from the sun.
Evonie is a big sister figure to her with how she often helps her when she gets anxious or when a confrontation takes place but she was too scared to talk back. She admits that she envies Evonie a little bit with how strong she was along with other girls who aren’t dainty. She wonders if she can be strong like them if she could just get over her fears.
She admires Briar as she has never been face-to-face with a real princess before. Her regal air and beautiful visage prompts her to create inspiring outfits to one day be worn by royalty. Though she can’t help but notice the sorrow in Briar’s eyes which maybe another factor as to why she feels a familiarity with her.
Cerule and Ella’s first meeting has her nearly fainting from excitement at the idea of meeting an actual mermaid. She’s read about them in storybooks but to see one in real life was way better. Cerule thinks Ella is pretty cute like a sea angel. Ella gets a lot of colored pearls and sea glass from Cerule after a dive for treasure.
Perrine won her over when Ella got a whiff of the smell of spices that was cooking in the campus cafeteria. Perrine and Allison’s desserts that are decorated to their tastes would always be a source of new ideas for Ella. She often takes pictures of their food before eating, she eats in small bites to savor the taste.
Bumpkin and Ella get along so well as fans of fashion, though Bumpkin is so adamant about ungodly amounts of glitter. Bumpkin’s form is from Ella’s doll she used to play with in her childhood. It always brought comfort to her during sad days.
Bumpkin acts as a fairy godmother to Ella, always helping her out in her time of need and would fiercely protect her if anyone dares to make her cry.
Mozza
The swiftest mouse who acts as the leader of the group. He does all the talking and negotiating in mouse matters, he is the one who reports to Ella about the latest information and gossip.
Gouda
The food crazy mouse who is the chunkiest of them all. He tends to just lay in one place nibbling on cheese. Often times Ella puts him in her pocket as he snoozes about. He is also quite cowardly, anything that resembles a cat and he freaks out and runs with speed that rivals Mozza’s.
Brie
The pretty mouse who hoards anything shiny like a corvid would. She is the one who assists Ella when she’s sewing the most. A mouse with an eye for detail. She likes riding in Ella’s pockets because dirt makes her fussy.
Parmes
The genius mouse who may seem plain but inside the mouse holes, but he has made layouts for the fastest routes to any place in the building. The inventions are made from lost things such as pins and buttons that are no longer needed among other things.
Pecorin
The youngest mouse of the group, she’s so small that other mice carry her around in a thimble basket made by Parmes. Ella is worried that the poor thing might get squished so she made a fluffy hand bag to carry all five mice in. Pecorin is often found in a dollhouse just enjoying herself.
Dusty
Ella’s horse who is a Rocky Mountain breed. He is friendly and happy-go-lucky, sometimes distracted by shiny things if he sees one in the corner of his eye. He is skilled in doing tricks as well as carrying heavy loads.
Her unique magic is called, “Glacify” this allows her to make anything she wants shimmer like polished glass. No matter what object it is, she can make it shiny. This doesn’t work on living things, though it works on plants oddly.
This magic effect can last until 12 o’ clock, it doesn’t matter if it was AM or PM, and it always disappears when the clock strikes 12.
Ella often uses this to make her fashion presentation pretty but she mostly uses it on the accessories or the lighting mostly. Using it on the dress would be considered cheating in her eyes. Though the process of making the dress uses magic to be quick and efficient.
Gaspard Antoine Glaciel
A soft-hearted, humble man who has a hobby for aromatherapy and indoor gardening. He makes exquisite shoes that the locals sought after. His business was only known in the Glasswork Kingdom until he was finally taking the gamble to set up a shop outside of his home country. He doesn’t take business risks unless he’s convinced that there will be no losses.
He was devastated after his wife passed away, he married Lucille only because of a mutual benefit, and affection wasn’t involved. He thought that she would benefit Ella since she worked as an educator.
He ended up filing a case against her when he found out she was abusing Ella under the guise of “tutoring”. He became more attentive to his daughter after the divorce, but his heart became closed off to any potential bachelorettes for a long time until he met Claudette.
Emellette Glaciel
Ella’s birthmother, an adventurous woman who likes to hunt and go horseback riding. She proposed to Gaspard first, she was always such a bold woman. But Gaspard always loved that about her.
She was known for her beautifully crafted jewelry sets. She and her husband started the business selling their crafts and designs to the people in the kingdom.
She passed away due to an illness when Ella turned 7. Leaving a crafted jewelry set that are based on blue birds for Ella to wear when she turns 18 one day. Ella cherishes this jewelry set the most and makes sure to hide it from Lucille in a secret compartment.
Lucille Luciferia
Ella’s first stepmother who is vain and sought to climb the social ladder by any means necessary. She worked as an educator but was known to be very strict and harsh to students, this includes Ella. Every time Ella did a little thing wrong, she would get hit on the back of her legs with a riding crop. This resulted in Ella getting scars on her legs with how hard she was struck.
She has no shame in wearing jewelry that was owned by Gaspard’s first wife, flaunting it, and being boastful to people whenever they go to gatherings. Pretending to be nice whenever Gaspard was in the house and when he leaves, she drops her façade and torments the servants in the household.
Lucille plays ignorant to her sons’ bullying of Ella, and even tells her that her father won’t believe her if she tries to tattle on them. She ended up being socially disgraced and had to live in her relative’s house along with her sons because she was also fired from the school she works at.
Edwin Luciferia (18)
An egotistic young man who constantly picks on Ella by playing mean pranks as well as destroying her toys and things. He is also narcissistic, he views himself as the best but has an ego as fragile as glass. When someone is better than him or tries to call him out on his bluff, he will retaliate by berating them or even resorting to violence.
He abuses his status as a noble to get what he wants, he is not above spreading false rumors about people who dares to defy him. As such, his classmates avoid him.
He used to have a group of students at his beck and call, they stuck around mostly because of his status and the wealth of his stepfather. But now that his mother was fired, he was left behind by his so-called “loyal followers”. He’s become more aggressive but those who he picked on now gossip about him. To the point where they do it in earshot.
Roman Luciferia (18)
The quiet young man who has a calculating gaze and sharp tongue. His bullying tactics are harsh words he hurls towards Ella. Although the true reason he picks on her was because Edwin doesn’t make him his target now, so his situation is mainly a target directing the negativity onto someone weaker.
However, it doesn’t mean that he isn’t at fault. At school, he was always harsh to those who are below him concerning academics. He thinks of himself as a genius unlike his bonehead brother. But after the divorce of his mother and stepfather, he is struggling to keep up academics now that Edwin is back to targeting him.
Claudette Darlington
Ella’s second stepmother who got married to Gaspard after they fell for each other after being business partners for a while. She works in the tea business, selling an assortment of tea leaves and tea sets. She is a professional in her career but she is also a patient mother. She doesn’t force Ella to trust her since she can tell that the trauma still affects her. She gives Ella her space and time to adjust until she can finally open up to her.
Gaspard at first was professional towards Claudette, slowly she starts to notice how stressed he was an offered some tea to help him. She respected their professional relationship and has heard of the incident that took place years before.
The first time she met Ella was when he had her over to discuss business, she was cautious and took note on her movements so as not to startle the poor child. Ella warmed up to Claudette when she asked about her mother.
She didn’t expect Gaspard to propose to her but at first she told him to talk this out with Ella because her opinion should also be considered.
The character's name, "Ella" is obviously based on Cinderella, with the live action movie revealing that "Ella" is her real name but she was called, "Cinderella" as a form of insult.
Ella's backstory was made with new ideas that came to mind, to give more personality to her.

What to expect from the stock market this week
Last week, the review of the macro market indicators saw with the July FOMC meeting in the books, equity markets showed cause for concern with a very weak end to the week following weak employment data. Elsewhere looked for Gold ($GLD) to continue its assault on new highs while Crude Oil ($USO) looked to break consolidation lower. The US Dollar Index ($DXY) continued the short term move to the downside while US Treasuries ($TLT) were possibly ready to reverse to an uptrend.
The Shanghai Composite ($ASHR) looked to continue the short term move lower while the short term breakout higher in Emerging Markets ($EEM) was at risk of failing. The Volatility Index ($VXX) looked to remain elevated and rising making the path easier for equity markets to the downside. The charts of the $SPY and $QQQ continued to look productive on the longer timeframe but with continued weakness on the shorter timeframe. The $IWM looked to have given traders another disappointment with yet another failed breakout higher.
The week played out with Gold pulling back from the new high early but finding support midweek and reversing while Crude Oil found support Monday and reversed higher. The US Dollar plunged to a 7 month low Tuesday before bouncing higher while Treasuries saw a blow off top Monday lead to a fallback to retest the breakout. The Shanghai Composite fell to a 6 month low Monday and then consolidated there while Emerging Markets opened with a gap down to ta 6 month low before recovering by week’s end.
Volatility spiked Monday to levels not seen since March of 2020 and then fell back to the low 20’s to end the week. This put initial pressure on equities and they responded by starting the week with large gap down and go move Monday. They recovered the drop by the open Wednesday only to drive lower all that day and then reverse Thursday. Friday saw a much tighter range and they ended the week little changed despite two sessions with moves over 2% amid a narrative of recession fears. What does this mean for the coming week? Let’s look at some charts.
SPY Daily, $SPY
The SPY came into the week in a pullback on the daily chart that had touched the 100 day SMA for the first time since November 2023. It was not done though as it gapped down Monday below the 150 day SMA and finally found support. It rose intraday and continued higher Tuesday filling the gap. Wednesday saw it fall back again and hold over the 150 day SMA before a 2 day move to the upside left it unchanged on the week. The RSI bounced off oversold, consistent with the past 4 touches there, and the MACD is curling back higher but negative.
This was the deepest pullback since the 2022 drop but held short of a 10% decline. The weekly chart shows a near Marubozu candle ending back over the 50 week SMA. If this reversal holds up it will be a higher low, continuing the uptrend. The RSI is holding in the bullish zone on the pullback with the MACD crossed down and positive. There is resistance at 534 and 537 then 540 and 542 before 545.75 and 549.50. Support lower sits at 530 and 524.50 then 520.50 and 517.50 before 513.50 and 510. Pullback in Uptrend.
SPY Weekly, $SPY
With the first week of August in the books, equity markets showed resilience with a rebound from an ugly start induced by growing narrative of recessionary fears. Elsewhere look for Gold to continue its uptrend while Crude Oil consolidates in a narrowing range. The US Dollar Index continues to drift in broad consolidation while US Treasuries consolidate in their downtrend. The Shanghai Composite looks to continue the short term trend lower while Emerging Markets consolidate under long term resistance.
The Volatility Index looks to have settled after a spike to 4 year highs removing the pressure on equity markets for now. The SPY and QQQ ETF charts continue to look strong on the longer timeframe. On the shorter timeframe both the QQQ and SPY have reset on momentum measures but also have a lot of upside work to put in before they are looking strong. The IWM is now just in consolidation mode again after a failed break higher. Use this information as you prepare for the coming week and trad’em well.

Ibara Saegusa - Private Room Chapter 6
Writer: Nishioka Maiko
Season: Autumn
(Location: Starmony Dorms Courtyard (Evening))
Aira: We did it! It’s been safely completed~♪
You’re amazing, Saegusa-senpai! It looks even cuter and nicer than before it was broken, it even looks brand new! Takamine-senpai would be so happy with this.
Ibara: My my, it’s fortunate that we somehow managed to do it with materials we could find in the dorm.
Aira: All things considered, Saegusa-senpai is so handy. You made this in no time, too. Do you like DIY?
Ibara: It’s not like I like DIY in particular. I spent a long period of time in a place with no entertainment or shops, so I just ended up being able to do it out of necessity.
Aira: Oh. Is that so, that sounds kind of awful…
Ibara: Come on, all we need to do is give it to Takamine-shi back in the dorm room. Let’s go back.
(Location: Starmony Dorm Room (Ibara, Mitsuru, Midori, Tsumugi's Room))
Midori: I’m back……
Mitsuru: I’m back~!
Aira: Ah, Takamine-senpai, Tenma-senpai. Welcome back—
Also…… Takamine-senpai, I’m sorry!
Midori: Eh. W-what? Getting apologised to when I just got back is too scary……!
Aira: The truth is, I borrowed Takamine-senpai’s stepping stool and broke it……
Midori: Stepping stool? The one with the mascot character on it? Why again?
Ibara: It seems that he used it since it was right next to him when he was trying to reach for the tea leaves.
Aira: That’s right. After that, Saegusa-senpai and I rebuilt it while preserving the parts that were left of the mascot character…… This is it.
Midori: Uwaaaaa……♪ It’s great! Even though it was so worn-out before, it looks spick and span! You’ve even painted cute colours over the parts that were peeling off!
Mitsuru: You’re both incredible~! It looks brand new!
Aira: But the fact that I borrowed without asking and broke it still stands, so I’m sorry……!
Midori: No, I really don’t mind that you broke it.
Rather, to think that it can be this pretty when it was so worn-out before. Shiratori-kun, Saegusa-senpai, thank you very much……♪
Mitsuru: Then, you two made this today?
Ibara: Yes. We were fixing it up till around dusk.
Mitsuru: That sounds hard~. You’ve had a hard day, haven't you, Ai-chan?
Aira: Mm…… That may seem like it was the case, but the truth is it really wasn’t.
Mitsuru: Eh?
Aira: Because this whole day today I was able to see a lot of Saegusa-senpai’s surprising sides! It was a beautiful sight for an idol otaku!
(Location: CosPro Conference Area)
(The next day)
Ibara: ………
…… Right. I’ve sent off replies for all the agenda that came in during my day off.
So, what next?
Ah, come to think of it, the prints sent around to be checked got back to me. I need to send a reply to the other party too.
Mm? My personal tablet is ringing. I guess that means it’s telling me about the stock prices changing again.
(…… I’m getting a sense of deja-vu. The last time I checked the market situation at a time like this, the stock price plummeted suddenly.)
Good grief…… Is it going to drop further? I’d really like for it to give me a break. Even a big loss would be considered good—
Hm? What on earth is this……? Since it’s the same situation as the other day, I thought the stock price would plummet again today. Rather, it’s suddenly rising.
(The price has almost returned to what it was before the sudden crash. At this rate, there is a possibility that the stock price will rise even more than before the sharp downward trend.
Furthermore, it looks like the other stocks I own are showing signs of upward movement across the board.)
I wonder what happened……It’s not as if a huge incident has occurred.
That reminds me……
(Flashback to Chapter 1)
Natsume: Maybe you could turn your luck around by reclaiming something familIAR.
(Back to present time)
Ibara: (Could it be because I fixed the stepping stool with Shiratori-shi……?)
………
Hah, that’s ridiculous. If fortune-telling can predict stock price fluctuations, then society will collapse.
It’s probably just that my luck has turned around lately.
Now then. I can focus my efforts on working wholeheartedly.
Even though there was an accident yesterday, contrary to my expectations, it ended up being a good break.
Seems like there’s going to be good progress with today’s work……♪

Genre ⇿ Friends to Lovers, Nanami x OC
Word Count ⇿ 3.5K words/42.2K words
Chapter One: Little Bit
The setting sun cast a cool glow on Ginza, dappling the sidewalk with the shadows of strolling shoppers and rustling fall leaves. Nakahari Shiori wandered among the vibrant display windows, humming along to the conflicting soundtrack of her bank account screaming for mercy and her wardrobe begging for new additions.
Sunglasses, shoes, and skirts whispered her name through the glass, and maybe, just maybe she’d finally ball out on the designer bag that finally graced the Japanese market. Sure, jet-setting to New York City or Milan for fashion conquests was all well and good, but her current gig as the resident nurse of Tokyo Jujutsu High had a nasty habit of keeping her firmly planted on Japanese soil. Principal Yaga and the higher-ups preferred Shiori to tend to scraped knees and teenage angst, rather than indulge in her dreams of rubbing elbows with designers at runway shows, and her lack of vacation days proved it.
So maybe this once, she could indulge. After all, exorcising curses wasn't exactly a low-stress job, and retail therapy was practically a medical necessity in her line of work.
Just as Shiori's self-justification for another shopping spree reached its peak, her phone buzzed, cutting through her thoughts. Groaning, she juggled the overflowing shopping bags draped in her arms. Was it Shoko again, calling with another favor from the morgue? Her workday was long done, and the last thing she needed was more unexpected duties.
But it wasn’t Shoko’s name that flashed on the screen. Instead, it was the face of the blonde sorcerer whose definition of “fun” was deciphering financial trends in the newspaper’s stock market pages.
A smile, genuine and unguarded, bloomed on Shiori's lips as she answered the call. “Nanami! What’s up? You don’t usually call—”
The voice on the other line wasn't the usual melodic lilt of Nanami Kento, but a grating rasp like sandpaper against bone.
"Shiori," Nanami choked out, each syllable scraping against her eardrums. “Where… are you right now?”
Shiori whipped her head around, scanning the bustling street for some landmark, any clue. Panic tightened her throat, squeezing out the playful greeting that had died on her lips. "I'm… in Ginza," she sputtered out, "but forget that—are you okay?"
“I fought a curse spirit and I’m injured. I need your assistance… Please.”
Something sharp and cold twisted in Shiori's stomach. Nanami, the lone wolf who'd sooner eat his own cursed tool than ask for help, was begging? What alternative reality had she found herself in?
“I’m not dying, if that’s what you’re thinking.”
Yeah, right.
Shiori's casual stroll came to a screeching halt, replaced by a mad dash towards her car. She didn’t care about the dropped bags and judging stares she received from bewildered pedestrians on the packed sidewalks. Politeness was the last thing on her mind when lives were on the line, especially lives as stubborn as Nanami’s. He wouldn’t call for help unless he was hanging by a thread thinner than his chances of finding a decent date.
“That’s definitely what someone who’s going to die would say, Nanami! Fuck—I’m on my way!”
Meanwhile, Nanami steadied himself against the cold porcelain sink in the bathroom where he sought refuge. His encounter with an unregistered special grade curse spirit hadn’t gone favorably... He winced as he pressed another balled up towel against his leaking wound.
Sweat beaded his forehead, face pale with exhaustion, but he caught the corners of his mouth tugging in the mirror’s reflection. “I haven’t even sent you the location yet…” He half expected her to explode in a flurry of curse words and panic, but Shiori rarely operated in the way he expected. “I’m sending it over now.”
She launched her bags into the backseat and cranked the engine. The text landed on her phone as she peeled into traffic, tires screeching their protest. “Just hold on for me, please!”
*---*
The address blurred past Shiori in a frenzy of flashing signs and honking horns. She couldn't help but imagine Gojo's admiration of her driving finesse, while Nanami’s scowl would have melted the asphalt, but right now, her heart echoed the pounding of the engine. Every traffic light felt like an eternity, every stop sign an insult.
Reaching the destination, she abandoned the car without a care for parking etiquette. She sprinted into the quiet street that offered no signs of the epic clash her imagination conjured up: no cratered pavement, no fallen debris. But, wisps of Nanami’s curse energy brushed against her senses. Unease gnawed at her, but she followed the trace, her instincts drawing her towards a secluded side entrance.
The unmistakable tang of iron hit her nostrils when she pushed into the office building. The trail, faint but unmistakable, led like a crimson arrow to the men's restroom door. Without hesitation, she flung it open, bracing for the aftermath.
“Nanami!”
The cry tore from Shiori's throat, an unchecked mix of fear and relief that echoed in the small bathroom. Nanami’s body sagged against the sink, his blue shirt dyed in crimson blotches. The unbuttoned shirt was a direct view into the wound that marred his torso. Bloodstained and ragged, it stood out against his pale skin, a jarring contrast to his normally meticulous appearance. His once pristine suit jacket laid crumpled on the counter, a casualty of the fight, and his silk tie hung loosely around his neck.
Shiori rushed to his side. “Please, let me help,” she said, her voice tight with concern, her hands already moving to apply pressure to the wound. “God, there’s so much blood—what happened?”
He winced at her touch, but explained in a raspy voice: “Just a nasty encounter with a special grade. It tried to… reshape my soul.”
Her brows slanted in justifiable confusion. “Reshape your soul? What does that mean?”
"I'm not entirely sure myself. I need to gather more intel… Just know that I won’t be caught off guard again.”
Shiori pursed her lips, sighing before forcing a smile. "Well, shout-outs to you for surviving the fight with your soul intact," she quipped, gingerly peeling back the makeshift bandage. The wound beneath was a gash, wide as her hand and deep enough to cause serious harm. "Good thing too, because if you die, who would suffer the brunt of Gojo’s bullying? I can’t handle that kind of torture on my own.” She smiled up at the blonde, already anticipating the trademark Nanami eye-roll.
As expected, his eyes darted upwards in a flick of annoyance before giving in to a begrudging roll. "Whatever,” he grumbled. She grinned, victorious. “Do you think you can stop the bleeding?”
"Always," she replied, her smile softened. “Brace yourself though, it’ll hurt… Let me know if it’s too much.”
The heat of Shiori's curse energy surged around the wound. He watched her through half-lidded eyes, mesmerized by the way her fingers danced across the raw flesh with delicate precision. The pain receded, replaced by a strange warmth that spread beyond the wound's edges. He couldn't help but wonder if it was just the healing, or if something more seeped through her touch. It felt...comforting, almost intimate.
The wayward thought vanished from his mind as quickly as it rudely entered, chased away by the sting of reality. Perhaps it was wishful thinking, craving solace from an attractive woman's touch? Years had passed since he'd known the simple comfort of companionship, unburdened by the weight of the sorcerer world.
He chalked it up to blood loss, a trick of the mind. He couldn't afford to jeopardize their decade-long friendship with fleeting thoughts and messy emotions. It was against his principles to mix personal emotions with the workplace… But, a small, persistent voice echoed in the quiet corners of his mind, whispering about Shiori.
The memory of their first meeting still burned sharp in his mind. He could picture her arrival at the shared classroom with Haibara, wearing her confidence like a second skin. Her bronze skin seemed to glow in the light, her black curly hair bounced with every step, and her smile had the power to melt the coldest winters. He couldn't deny that he had an affinity for girls with easy smiles like hers. And as he got to know her, he found comfort in that smile during dark times.
Their lives were tough, but there were many happy moments in spite of all the bad. Many of those moments would be incomplete without Shiori. From celebrating their small victories over convenience store bread as teenagers to enjoying a night out with a pint (or seven) at a bar as adults, she possessed the ability to make him feel understood in a world that couldn’t care less. Her passion for nurturing young sorcerers shone brightly, and despite himself, he occasionally (only occasionally) found her corny jokes amusing.
Nanami had always been a man of rigid self-control, but being around Shiori like this was… uncomfortable. There were too many moments he caught himself stealing glances at her. He couldn’t help but admire the graceful dip of her neck, sparking the desire to trace the space between her shoulders with his fingers. Her lips, with their natural pout, and the way they moved could spin him into a trance. Even her work attire, somehow emphasizing her figure, became a distraction. Silencing the insistent voice begging for more than friendship was an exhausting battle.
“There!” Shiori beamed, her smile blooming like a sunflower as she surveyed her handiwork. The wound on Nanami's torso, once a jagged tear that ripped his skin, was now a crimson line, edges sealed with intricate patterns only she could weave. The Kamo clan’s blood manipulation technique, a rarity that appeared once every few generations, allowed her to coax the life force back into its rightful place. Years of training and countless battles honed her skill of easing pain and stitching torn flesh together with the invisible thread of her technique.
"Thank you, Shiori," he praised, his gaze lingering on her face longer than necessary.
Shiori fumbled over her words. “A-ah, it’s nothing, Nanami. You would do the same for me,” she managed, eyes locking with his brown ones. He nodded in agreement. An unspoken understanding and a strong bond had developed between them over the years, having been former classmates and now co-workers. “Also, don’t thank me, yet. The bleeding is stopped, but I’m not done. We should still dress the wound to prevent infection.”
She reached into her bag, pulling out gauze and bandages. Nanami reached out to take them from her, insisting, "I’ll finish it from here,” with his usual deep voice, nowhere near as strained as it was moments prior.
“No. I’ll do it.”
“I’m capable of dressing my own wounds—”
“You didn’t call me here to do a half-ass job." Taking a deep breath, she forced her voice into the firm, no-nonsense tone that often met with grudging obedience from her students. "You’re getting the entire experience.”
A faint smile tugged at the corners of his lips, a rare indulgence. “You're a stubborn one, aren't you?”
The playful jab made her cheeks warm. "Learned from the best," she mumbled, her voice barely above a whisper.
Her fingers, usually steady with years of practice, trembled as she worked, acutely aware of his eyes fixed on her. As she moved across his skin, she could feel the faint, rhythmic pulse of his blood beneath the surface, a reminder of her curse technique. The realization that she could control the very essence of life within his veins, something so inherently intimate, sent a thrill of anxiety coursing through her.
Touching Nanami was already nerve-wracking under normal circumstances. And, now the added pressure only made her more aware of the feelings he brought out of her. His skin felt warm to the touch, radiating a comforting heat that made her stomach flutter. His skin was soft, contrasting with the firm, athletic build that lay beneath. As she skillfully wound the bandage, the realization struck her like a bolt of lightning. She had noticed the results of his recent dedication at the gym, but the idea that she could now feel those results under her fingertips stirred something in her core.
Nanami's heavy gaze branded her skin. Every brush of her fingers against his skin sent a tremor through her, her touch lingering a fraction longer than professionalism demanded. “All done…” She announced, her voice betraying her confidence as she put some much needed space between herself and the blonde sorcerer.
She needed a moment to regain clarity in the midst of her conflicting emotions. After all, Nanami was just a friend, and she couldn't afford to indulge in fantasies about the same guy who once pretended he hadn’t been crying to MCR songs in high school.
Nanami pushed himself off the sink, eyes scanning the bandaged wound in the mirror. "You did a good job."
Nanami wasn’t a man of many compliments, so she relished in the rarity. Still bashful, still trying to regain her composure, she defaulted to humor to save her skin. "I'm a saint, I know. There’s no need to thank me."
"Saints still deserve recognition," he countered, his tone carrying the warmth that filled her mind with confusing thoughts. "Is there anything I can do for you in return?"
"Not a thing! I did this out of the kindness of my heart, Nanami. Unless…" she drawled, a teasing glint in her eyes. "... that dinner you mentioned a few weeks back is still on the table?"
"Ah, I see. You're looking for a free meal."
She batted her eyelashes, mock innocence radiating from her. "Me? Never! But since I rushed over here, in record time I might add, to offer you my services, and considering the nearby shops are likely closed by now..." she trailed off, catching his gaze. “I’m free to have a nice dinner with my favorite colleague.”
Nanami rolled his eyes, a ghost of a smile betraying his amusement. The awkward tension seemed to melt away, replaced by their familiar banter. "How convenient."
"Conveniently delicious, you mean," Shiori countered, eyes still twinkling. "There's this new sushi place nearby I've been dying to try! I’ve heard great things about their food and their sake selection. Unless, of course, you’re craving something else?”
Nanami contemplated her question while wiping his blood from the counter. “No, sushi sounds nice. I trust your opinion—” Shiori’s exaggerated grasp cut him off, her hand flying to her chest to clutch an imaginary set of pearls.
“Is that three compliments in one night, Nanami? I may need to start saving you more often if this is the reward!”
He stared at her through slanted eyes before exiting the bathroom, seeing no issue with leaving her behind for her 'jokes'. “You better watch out, you’re turning into Gojo.”
She giggled into her palm, falling in step. “Oh God, ok, I’ll be more careful. I don’t think the world can handle two of those.”
*---*
Shiori waited patiently as Nanami emerged from his office, a fresh shirt replacing the bloodstained one. He walked towards her, a determined set to his jaw that softened slightly as his eyes met hers. Without a word, he held up his car keys.
“You’re the chauffeur tonight?”
“I have to make sure that my colleague gets home safely.”
Nanami's insistence on driving snagged Shiori's attention as they made their way to the restaurant. Was it a typical-Nanami chivalrous act, or was there something more brewing beneath the surface? Curiosity tickled the edges of her mind.
“Do you do this for all of your dates, Nanamin?” Shiori teased. He held out her chair when they arrived at the restaurant, waiting for her to settle in. Not only that, he made it his job to open every door they greeted on their way inside.
Nanami smoothly tucked her chair in before taking his own seat, his usual stoic demeanor undisturbed. “Only for the exceptional ones.”
“I should feel honored, then.”
“You should.”
Shiori’s cheeks flushed. Her mind lit up with too many unanswered questions: Was the sake she hadn’t even ordered yet, already messing with her mind? Did he have any idea how easily he flustered her? And why did he choose such a distant seat away from her?
She blinked.
What the hell was she going on about?
She lassoed her wild thoughts back to calmer territory, burying her nose in the menu as a distraction. “What do you think about starting this ‘not-a-date’ with a bottle of sake?”
Nanami lowered his menu and glanced at her from across the table. “Heading right into it?”
“Absolutely! Besides, you look like you could use a drink.” Nanami sighed in agreement. Their ‘not-a-date’ outings always turned boozy, and there was no reason to break their streak tonight.
Yet, despite being off the clock, his thoughts clung to his work responsibilities. There was a high likelihood that the special grade curse spirit he encountered survived the cave-in. Tracking it down again would be an absolute pain in the ass, especially with its ability to completely disfigure its victims. He made a mental note to set up a meeting with Yaga to debrief on his findings… and failures.
“Let’s do it.” He conceded, pushing the work thoughts out of the window of his mind.
Anticipation bloomed on Shiori’s face when the waiter scribbled down their lengthy order and returned with a flourish of colorful dishes. Just as Nanami’s hands graced his chopsticks, a playful tap bounced his hand away.
“Traditions still matter, Nanami!” She teased, a grin dancing on her lips.
“Of course, of course,” he echoed with a head shake. “How could I forget?”
She whipped her phone out, the camera hungry to capture their feast from every angle. Click, click, click. Every picture perfect plate was added to their ever-growing album of ‘not-a-date’ food adventures. Their collection had grown with snapshots from bakery runs, Nanami's culinary creations, and visits to new restaurants over the years.
“Now you can eat,” she commanded, a playful glint in her eyes. She couldn’t miss Nanami’s signature eye roll before indulging in the nigiri.
“The camera shouldn’t eat first, Shiori. It’s a bad habit.”
“How else are we going to remember what we like about this place if we don’t have photographic proof?”
“By simply enjoying the food."
Her giggles filled the table, the sound warm and bubbly. “Says the guy who took over a thousand pictures of his grilled fish the other day.”
“That was different,” he cleared his throat, trying to swallow down a contagious chuckle. “I made that myself—It was special.”
“Well…” She trailed off, hoping to steady the butterflies fluttering in her stomach. “This is special to me, too.” Her whisper was drowned out by the restaurant’s lively hum, but Nanami caught the tail end of her shy smile.
No, it must have been a trick of the light.
The remainder of the evening melted with good food and even greater sake as they exchanged stories about their day. Amidst clinking glasses and laughter, their conversation danced through the day's events. Nanami delved into mentoring Itadori Yuji, Sukuna's vessel. The King of Curses' appearance caused a great shift in the sorcerer world and its full effects were still to be seen, but despite the challenges, Nanami spoke warmly of the young man.
Shiori, in turn, painted a vibrant picture of her day: researching the disfigured corpses that flooded the morgue, prepping for the Sister School Goodwill event, and indulging in some retail therapy in Ginza.
As the night wound down, Nanami escorted Shiori to her doorstep. “Thank you again for helping me, Shiori.”
“Hey,” she playfully nudged him in the arm. “You’ve got to stop thanking me! This praise is going straight to my head.”
“You’re right. We wouldn’t want your head to get any bigger.”
Shiori’s laughter filled the air as they stood on her porch. “God, you can be so rude, Na-na-min.” She slurred, drawing out each syllable on her lips as she locked onto his dark eyes under the dim lights.
He could feel his eyes retreating to the back of his skull. “You and Gojo with that stupid name. I already let you off the hook once tonight.”
Blaming the liquid courage coursing through her blood stream, Shiori leaned in closer and with a low, teasing tone, and asked: “What would you like me to call you?”
Nanami’s resolve was called into question for the umpteenth time for the night.
She was so close that Nanami could feel the heat radiating from her small frame, mingling with the lavender scent of her perfume. He immediately focused on her lips, fighting the sweet temptation of what could be on the other side of all this flirtation and into something more intimate. Something worthwhile.
When he finally found his voice, it was barely a whisper. “Kento.”
He had every intention to sound more confident, but his heart was racing in his chest. The small voice that pined for Shiori was dominating his mind with visions of her sprawled on his bed, calling out his name while he tasted every square inch of her.
“Thank you for dinner...” She pulled away, inserting her keys into the front door as their night came to an end. “Kento."
Nanami could only nod, his mind still clouded with the enticing visions of what could be. As Shiori disappeared into her home, he whispered, "Good night, Shiori," knowing that they were inching deeper into dangerous territory.
With every passing touch, with every stolen look, they were venturing further into the abyss that threatened to upend the delicate balance of their friendship.

🚀 The Intelligent Investor
-
1. Invest for the long term. The stock market is volatile in the short term, but it tends to trend upwards in the long term.
2. Invest in undervalued stocks. Value stocks are stocks that are trading for less than their intrinsic value.
3. Diversify your portfolio. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Spread your money across different asset classes to reduce your risk.
4. Be patient. Don't expect to get rich quick. Investing takes time and effort.
5. Don't panic. The stock market will go up and down, but it will always recover in the long term.
6. Don't try to time the market. No one can predict when the market will go up or down.
7. Don't buy stocks because you think they're going to go up. Buy stocks because they're undervalued and you believe they will be worth more in the future.
8. Do your research. Before you buy a stock, make sure you understand the company and its industry.
9. Don't be afraid to sell a stock if it's no longer a good investment. If a stock's price goes up, you can sell it and lock in your profits. If a stock's price goes down, you can sell it and cut your losses.
10. Invest in companies that have a moat. A moat is an economic barrier that makes it difficult for competitors to enter a company's market. Companies with moats tend to be more profitable and stable over the long term.

How do we start learning stock market?
Before diving into Stock Market Learning, it’s important to understand what the Stock Market is. The stock market is a trading network that connects investors who want to buy and sell stocks and their derivatives. You can think of it as a collection of Stock Exchanges where traders and investors exchange shares of publicly traded companies. Here, you can find shares of both profitable companies and those that are losing money. To make informed decisions about which stocks to buy or sell, you need to analyze the company's history and stock price trends.
There are two ways to learn this skill. First, you can gather information from various sources like YouTube and blogs, investing small amounts to test your knowledge. However, this method may take several years to master. The second way is to learn from a professional who can share their real-life experiences in a structured course. This approach can make your learning journey much easier, helping you understand when and how to make specific decisions—insights that might be hard to gain through self-study.
GSC Trading Academy is a stock market training institute that can help you become a pro trader in just 6-8 months. This will enable you to profit in any market situation. You can purchase the Stock Market Course online from our website. Unlike recorded sessions, our classes are live and practical, providing you with the hands-on experience you need to succeed.

Top Strategies for Successful Stock Trading - Unirav Shopping
Navigating the stock market can be both exhilarating and daunting. For beginners and seasoned investors alike, successful stock trading requires a strategic approach, a solid understanding of market dynamics, and continuous learning. This blog delves into the top strategies for successful stock trading, emphasizing the importance of planning, discipline, and informed decision-making.
1. Educate Yourself
Before diving into stock trading, it’s crucial to educate yourself about the market. Understanding the basic concepts, terminology, and mechanics of trading will lay a strong foundation for your investment journey.
Books and Online Courses: There are numerous resources available, from classic investment books like “The Intelligent Investor” by Benjamin Graham to online courses offered by reputable institutions.
Financial News and Websites: Stay updated with financial news, market trends, and analysis from trusted sources like Bloomberg, CNBC, and MarketWatch.
Stock Simulators: Use stock simulators to practice trading without risking real money. This hands-on experience can help you understand market fluctuations and trading strategies.
2. Set Clear Goals and Objectives
Having clear financial goals and objectives is essential for successful stock trading. Define what you want to achieve with your investments, whether it’s long-term wealth accumulation, short-term gains, or income generation.
Risk Tolerance: Assess your risk tolerance to determine the types of stocks and trading strategies that suit you.
Time Horizon: Consider your investment time horizon, as this will influence your trading decisions and risk management strategies.
Capital Allocation: Decide how much capital you are willing to invest in the stock market and how you will allocate it across different stocks and sectors.
3. Develop a Trading Plan
A well-defined trading plan acts as a roadmap for your trading activities. It helps you stay disciplined and focused, reducing the likelihood of impulsive decisions.
Entry and Exit Criteria: Establish clear criteria for entering and exiting trades. This can include technical indicators, fundamental analysis, or a combination of both.
Position Sizing: Determine the size of your positions based on your risk tolerance and the overall market conditions.
Risk Management: Implement risk management strategies to protect your capital. This can involve setting stop-loss orders, diversifying your portfolio, and avoiding overleveraging.
4. Conduct Thorough Research
Thorough research is the backbone of successful stock trading. Analyzing companies, industries, and market trends can help you make informed investment decisions.
Fundamental Analysis: Evaluate a company’s financial health by examining its earnings, revenue, profit margins, and balance sheet. Pay attention to industry trends and economic factors that could impact the company’s performance.
Technical Analysis: Use technical analysis tools to study price charts, patterns, and indicators. This can help you identify potential entry and exit points and gauge market sentiment.
Sentiment Analysis: Monitor investor sentiment and news to understand the market’s mood and potential impact on stock prices.
5. Diversify Your Portfolio
Diversification is a crucial risk management strategy that involves spreading your investments across different asset classes, sectors, and geographic regions. This can help reduce the impact of any single stock’s poor performance on your overall portfolio.
Asset Allocation: Allocate your capital across various asset classes, such as stocks, bonds, and commodities, to balance risk and reward.
Sector Diversification: Invest in stocks from different sectors to mitigate sector-specific risks.
Geographic Diversification: Consider investing in international stocks to reduce exposure to country-specific economic and political risks.
6. Stay Disciplined and Emotionally Detached
Emotional decision-making can be detrimental to stock trading. It’s essential to stay disciplined and stick to your trading plan, regardless of market volatility or emotional impulses.
Avoid Overtrading: Overtrading can lead to increased transaction costs and reduced overall returns. Stick to your trading plan and avoid making impulsive trades.
Manage Fear and Greed: Fear and greed are common emotions in stock trading. Develop strategies to manage these emotions, such as setting realistic expectations and using stop-loss orders.
Review and Adjust: Regularly review your trading plan and performance. Make necessary adjustments based on changing market conditions and your financial goals.
7. Utilize Stop-Loss and Take-Profit Orders
Stop-loss and take-profit orders are essential tools for managing risk and protecting your capital. These orders automatically close your positions at predetermined price levels, helping you lock in profits and limit losses.
Stop-Loss Orders: Set stop-loss orders to automatically sell a stock if its price falls below a certain level. This helps protect your capital from significant losses.
Take-Profit Orders: Use take-profit orders to automatically sell a stock when it reaches a predetermined profit level. This allows you to lock in gains and avoid holding onto winning positions for too long.
8. Keep an Eye on Market Trends
Staying informed about market trends and economic indicators can provide valuable insights for your trading decisions.
Economic Indicators: Monitor key economic indicators, such as GDP growth, unemployment rates, and inflation, as they can influence market sentiment and stock prices.
Market Trends: Identify and analyze market trends, such as bull and bear markets, to adjust your trading strategies accordingly.
News and Events: Stay updated on news and events that could impact the stock market, such as corporate earnings reports, geopolitical developments, and central bank announcements.
9. Learn from Your Mistakes
Mistakes are inevitable in stock trading, but they can also be valuable learning opportunities. Analyze your past trades to identify what went wrong and how you can improve your strategies.
Trading Journal: Keep a trading journal to document your trades, including entry and exit points, reasons for the trade, and outcomes. This can help you identify patterns and areas for improvement.
Self-Assessment: Regularly assess your trading performance and reflect on your decision-making process. Identify common mistakes and develop strategies to avoid them in the future.
Continuous Learning: Stay committed to continuous learning and improvement. Attend webinars, read books, and seek advice from experienced traders to enhance your skills.
10. Seek Professional Advice
If you’re unsure about your trading strategies or need personalized guidance, consider seeking advice from financial professionals. Financial advisors, brokers, and investment analysts can provide valuable insights and recommendations tailored to your needs.
Financial Advisors: Work with a financial advisor to develop a comprehensive investment plan and receive personalized advice.
Brokers: Consult with brokers who have expertise in stock trading and can provide valuable market insights and trade execution services.
Investment Analysts: Follow recommendations from investment analysts who conduct in-depth research and analysis on stocks and market trends.
Conclusion
Successful stock trading requires a combination of education, planning, discipline, and continuous learning. By implementing these top strategies, you can enhance your trading skills, make informed decisions, and achieve your financial goals. Remember, the stock market is unpredictable, and there are no guarantees of success. What to expect from the stock market this week
Last week, the review of the macro market indicators saw heading into the unofficial end of summer and with August in the books, that equity markets showed a preference for some rest after the 3 week move higher. Elsewhere looked for Gold ($GLD) to continue its uptrend while Crude Oil ($USO) consolidated in a tightening range. The US Dollar Index ($DXY) continued to bounce to the upside while US Treasuries ($TLT) consolidated in their downtrend. The Shanghai Composite ($ASHR) looked to continue the downtrend while Emerging Markets ($EEM) consolidated over support in a possible start of a new uptrend.
The Volatility Index ($VXX) looked to remain low and stable making the path easier for equity markets to the upside. Their charts looked strong, especially on the longer timeframe. On the shorter timeframe the week long consolidation left the $SPY with only 2 hours to rocket to just shy of a new all-time high close while the $QQQ and the $IWM ended near the high of the week. All were prepped to start September stronger.
The week played out with Gold holding at the highs in consolidation while Crude Oil broke down to a nearly 10 month low. The US Dollar fell back from its quick bounce while Treasuries rose to test the December 2023 high. The Shanghai Composite fell to a 7 month low while Emerging Markets broke support to hit a 1 month low.
Volatility rose Monday out of the teens and held the rest of the week. This put pressure on equities and they responded by moving lower all week and closing the mid-August gaps. This resulted in the SPY, the QQQ and the IWM confirming lower highs as recession fear overtook the market. What does this mean for the coming week? Let’s look at some charts.
SPY Daily, $SPY
The SPY came into the week holding in consolidation just under the all-time high. It dropped Tuesday touching the 50 day SMA and held there through Thursday before a second big fall Friday closed the mid-August gap down. It closed at the lowest level since August 13th. The RSI is falling below the midline after making a lower high with the MACD crossed down but positive. The Bollinger Bands® are squeezing in with price now closing in on the 100 day SMA.
The weekly chart shows the confirmation of a reversal with a strong move lower following the doji. It ended at the 20 week SMA. There is also a momentum divergence with the RSI making a lower high as price made a higher high. The RSI remains bullish over the midline with the MACD positive but moving lower. There is support lower at 540 and 537 then 534 and 530 before 524.50 and 520.50. Resistance higher is at 542 and 545.75 then 549.50 and 556.50 before 561.50 and 565.50. Broad Consolidation with Possible Change of Character.
SPY Weekly, $SPY
With the first week of September in the books, equity markets reverted to weakness, trending lower all week. Elsewhere look for Gold to continue its uptrend while Crude Oil continues to move lower. The US Dollar Index continues in broad consolidation while US Treasuries show signs of a possible new uptrend. The Shanghai Composite looks to continue the downtrend while Emerging Markets drop back into a short term downtrend.
The Volatility Index looks to shift from low and stable to low and rising making the path more difficult for equity markets. Their charts look weak om the shorter time frame as price pulls back from a lower high, but they remain above making a lower low for now. On the longer timeframe they look stronger, but vulnerable with the SPY strongest then the IWM and the QQQ the weakest. Use this information as you prepare for the coming week and trad’em well.
