What does seeing repeating numbers mean?

“Why am I seeing angel numbers 11:11, 222, 333, 444, 555 frequently? Is there any meaning to see these numbers?”

“I see these angel numbers constantly every single day all the time. What is they trying to tell me exactly. Do you know???”

The fact that one is seeing so many 'angel' numbers at the same time does not mean that one is deeply connected to one's 'spirit guides' or 'angels', or such beings or entities are communicating with one frequently.

Distorted knowledge suggests that these numbers could be guiding or comforting messages from the universe, or it's the universe’s way of confirming that one is on a path of spiritual enlightenment and/or awakening. These are simply lies though.

One — should not trust in such (hu)manmade concepts — aka “signs from the universe” and all that fancy jazz.

'Angels' and 'spirit guides' don't send “signs” to human beings.

The Infinite Intelligence/Creator/Creation doesn't work like this. Man, however, likes comfort, shortcuts, minimal effort, flattery, and a very little or no responsibility.

One must remember that numerology/angel numbers/spirit guides/twin flames/soul mates/spirituality/time/religions/nonduality/higher-self/consciousness/enlightenment/law of attraction/law of assumption/starseeds etc., etc., etc., — are human made concepts i.e., labels, which built-up from words, words which create our false reality;

but most importantly: one can, and thus, must be able to use their level and ability of awareness/discernment, and with that, a higher frequency vibrational field, — aka 'angels' or 'spirit guides' — GOODness never interferes.

One's higher frequency awareness field = one's SOUL (aka, the higher-self), however, is able to do so:

the SOUL/one's core/True Self is a pure, loving awareness field so, can guide one, "raise" the alarm, or sooth/balance out anxiety/fear with wisdom = intelligence and love.

The SOUL projects its awareness into multiple beings under numerous avatars, (multiple yous in parallel lives — there might be several hundred entities projected by your soul) across multiple dimensions and lives; — therefore, when one's connected to their SOUL, one is actually guided/advised by themselves based on profound insights from a higher level awareness.

A higher/greater level of awareness is when one is able to access to their accumulated knowledge/wisdom built-up over 'time'.

It's often called an “altered state” — which is a result of fine-tuned energy management that can be manifested through a purified body, including a purified mind and heart.

The crutch you never needed.

Many can experience — either via their gift or devoted practice — hearing the “chatter” of different creatures in the quantum, aka akashic reading. Now, whether one 'hears' the whispers of higher beings such as angels, or deceased entities, or trickster spirits that is depending on one's awareness level.

There are many entities specifically that are connected with one throughout the field of cognitive/earth matrix. There are literally tens of thousands of these entities that are connected simultaneously with human beings.

Released memory materials of variously evolved entities and beings are hardly genuine/REAL,* thus not beneficial to living beings coping in the 3D material awareness. Some “experts” may say otherwise; it doesn't make it true, though.

*Memory fields/frequency energy units are contaminated by one's mind's fear, the cognitive, conditioning, and biases; even if one has lost their body in this realm, i.e., died, even if that happened a very long time ago; these memory units/data in frequency form still linger on and thus are available and 'readable' as energetic records in the quantum/akashic fields.

How Psychics, Mediums, Clairvoyants, Tarot readers etc., actually choose to interpret their messages and experiences depends entirely on their level of development, i.e., the evolvement of their souls, their perceptional awareness, background and upbringing, and filters: fears, biases and existing beliefs.

For instance, seeing the Akashic fields as a library: this visual arises in one who values education, or is a lifelong learner, or loves reading and/or books, or the love of books was modelled by their family, or by someone who they were looked up to, or their SOUL/BEING has a history in the educational, academic, or literary fields, etc., etc.

The mind creates familiarity, a cognitive shorthand to make processing easier for the experience of an inner inquiry.

Similarly, in case of NDEs — the mind/ego focuses on one's own survival and is able to hide in the subconscious, therefore, experiences will be filtered: softened or modulated by the ego/mind to avoid feelings of inconvenience/pain/embarrassment/shame, but accumulate pleasure and enhancement instead.

Numerous NDEs accounts describe Jesus as the divine figure they met.

Why?

Because:

a., it's a deeply ingrained belief in one that stems from family, tribal, community, cultural values — it is not necessary for one to be a believer/Christian “to meet Jesus” during an NDE. One can even see/carry themselves as an atheist or can be indifferent towards religions ➛ ego is in subconscious, too.

b., the person has a history, parallel or previous lives, where they follow/followed, or knew/was introduced to/got familiar with/affected by Christianity/the story of Jesus.

“Padded” knowledge, (aka shortcuts/“help”/“guidance”) — advisory activity from so called 'angels' and 'spirit guides' either via business offerings or other scheme, is just a deliberate way to control another individual because, clarity on one's path, or guidance on one's purpose/mission/gifts are never made known/revealed to a third party (such as mediums or intuitive readers) only to the one, (who's the seeker), — each being is unique (as in unique in unimportant ways for the false/illusory-self/ego) on their unique path, and each being is a channel as Source's energy flows through all of us.

By default/design, information on one's fate and destiny always remains confidential. One's being is an enigma to another, therefore, no one has the truth or deep insights about another being's dealings.

However, as the data of personal experiences can relate to more than one, (relatability + energetic connectedness), with concepts such as 'angel numbers' and 'spirit guides', or 'channeled messages' it's easy for an observant pattern reader to manipulate and exploit the fearful and gullible.

On another note, posing as an interpreter for “spirits” can get quite a bit of attention/idolization/worship and pride for one('s ego).

A spiritual “help/advice/guidance” received from another one hinders the seeker from developing a greater level of perceptional awareness and discernment (so one will remain caught up in karma); one, who takes counsel or seeks reassurance either from soothsayers, channellers, card readers, or discarnated spirits or other various entities of the quantum field, — dismisses their own abilities.

By turning to a 'spiritual mediator,' or a 'spiritual advisor', or a discarnated entity/spirit in the 'external,' — one ultimately rejects her/himself, thus the SELF/I AM/REAL.

The IS-ness, aka I AM/ Source/GOD/All That IS does not live inside of all of us, and if one does not conceive of or believe in their own divinity, how are they going to make the leap into the next levels?

Greater perceptional awareness (i.e., an evolved being with a higher density perceptional awareness, e.g., 5th density and above) recognizes and understands that no one has the purpose/task/mission/dharma, but most importantly, the capability to advise or teach another on their lessons, or on the development of their 'spiritual path', inner being/inner world that is just:

• an ego's misinterpretation/projection based on lack of awareness (i.e., fear): I need advice from others in order to thrive/advice is needed for others because they are helpless/suffering; or

• an ego card for superiority or control: I know it better/I am better.

Ego thinks, it knows better, the SOUL knows it: looking for information or confirmation in the external is futile.

As always, awareness is the key that developed through the frequencies of creation: wisdom and love.

So, what does it mean when one sees repeating numbers?

It means: one is out of alignment — energetically — with the The ONE's/Most HIGH's/GOD's/One Creator's/ I AM's/Source's/ REAL's/LOVE's frequency.

Why?

When we think, thought forms/beliefs arisen within our bodies (mind and heart), in the language of physics we're creating the electrical and magnetic expression of them as waves of energy, which aren't confined to our mind and heart or limited by the physical barrier of our skin and bones. So we're creating a world/reality around us in each moment of every day through a language that has no words: through belief-waves of our conscious awareness field (body+mind+heart and — if one's able to mute/master their ego — then the soul can take the lead of those aforementioned).

The minute one is in doubt = one is in FEAR state of consciousness/conscious awareness, and when one's being in fear, one is jumping in the mind = one's thinking, desperately trying to seek security = aid/reassurance/validation/purpose/guidance/love in the external; either in the mind, or in our reality. Meanwhile, one's vibrational frequency drops and fear drags one at the lowest level of frequencies.

Due to that, all energy manifest and fear is an energy, too, the outcomes of such manifestations will always be not REAL, i.e., illusory — i.e., that is not lasting, — because FEARs are Lies, fabrications of a non-existent, illusory-self/ego/identity.

One can never find any of the REAL in the external, because the reality, our reality, created by minds, a common hallucination = a matrix projected by phantom egos, — is actually, a cognitive bias, therefore, nothing REAL can be attained/gained from the external.

Seeking guidance, validation, or protection from repeating numbers is a limiting belief: manifestation of one's fear, — and FEAR attracts the fearful.

One's responsibility is remembering one's core essence/truth so one can recognize and understand what one's doing with their energy.

One should take care of their energy.

This is part of learning to take control of your energy. Who is going to control your energy if you don’t?

Oddly, so many regard the 10 instructions (mispresented as the Ten Commanmends) of the Semitic Decree, aka The BIBLE / Old Testament, left behind by Annunaki Chief ENKI for his beloved ones, and for the leadership/kings,** (which tells exactly how one can fully realize their divinity on a lower, 3rd density awareness plane such as Earth,) with disdain, but seek and follow hundreds of “advice” from non-visible entities, and/or from “experts” with veiled/limited/biased perceptional awareness (i.e., one with a contaminated body/astral body, mind, or heart) on various platforms.

**The story of the Anunnaki and their arrival is told, in part, by the ‘Enuma elish’ – known as the Epic of Creation (seven tablets of Creation), with other subsequent Sumerian texts detailing their stay here on Earth.

This is exactly what happened with the Anunnaki and their relationship with human beings, even though it was probably unintentional in the beginning, they ‘got off’ on the power and made themselves into gods.

Enki tried to help humanity survive from the “Great Flood” that occurred approximately 11,000 years ago.

The stories of the Bible are symbolic. They delve into our inner being and coded existence and the energies at work within our bodies.

Earth has been continuously and extensively influenced by visitors from other realms. It is interesting that the 10 instructions were compelled by ENKI considering that the Sirians/Annunaki of Sumer — and also the Atlanteans, Arcturians, Orionis etc., — all alien races who took part the colonization of this planet, — are higher density beings.

We each possess the capacity to commit the seven deadly (karmic) sins that diminish our divine essence by lowering our density, and that keeps us in the shackles of karma. Absolutely inherent within us.

“As you did, so shall it be done to you;

Your conduct shall be requited.”

The only way to combat that is through individual transformation, one needs to practice a little self-control/discipline, and to begin taking responsibility for themselves, and for the planet. Freedom lies in a correct energy management.

Ways to get rid of this fear is doing something goodness/kindness without expectations, or recalling something good, a story/a mental picture, and being like a child, starting smiling/laughing at such symmetry (i.e., repeated numbers), which creates a higher frequency vibrational energies within one's energy field whenever one sees repeating numbers, then, slowly these 'angel' numbers will start to disappear.

Remember who you are. Remember your gift.

I saw you had posted about angels. Do you know anything about Angel Numbers? I see 888 and 555 a lot recently. I never saw them before moving to the east coast for school. Now they’re everywhere.

I’m not trying to upset or offend, but I’m very critical of the whole “angel numbers” concept.

Don’t get me wrong. Synchronicities can hold great meaning for a magical practitioner, and these synchronicities can involve a series of numbers that repeats in your life. I’ll even tacitly admit that these synchronicities could sometimes be a spirit’s handiwork, trying to get your attention.

The angel numbers thing oversimplifies this to an extreme. I’ve looked into it, mostly because everyone was pushing it so hard back in 2017-ish. It all just… seemed like platitudes. These folks would see the numbers, rush to the internet and google the “meaning” which was usually something like “Good things are coming,” or “you’re raising your vibration,” etc. It rarely provides actionable information.

This image was circulating on Facebook awhile back, to give you an idea of how angel numbering works in practice. The majority of these angel numbers apparently mean that your life is awesome, good things are coming, angels are all around you, and you’re very special. There’s a few that waffle around about how the person needs to “finish something” or “reconnect with spirituality.” Very broad statements, none too bad, and even the vaguely negative ones end with something upbeat like “things are getting exciting!”

I prefer systems of spirit communication (or divination) that account for the full spectrum of human experience. Imagine trying to do a Tarot reading with all the possibly-negative cards removed. You would receive an incomplete, sugarcoated picture of the situation, likely to do more harm than good.

A few sites out there do give negative (or at least less-than-positive) meanings for these numbers. The few negative “angel number” definitions I’ve seen are equal to the positive ones in their vagueness, and, again, usually give no real actionable information. All in all, the “angel number” concept often amounts to toxic positivity and spiritual bypassing. Ignoring the negative aspects won’t make them go away, you’ll miss a lot.

In my earlier Enochian reading list, I linked to a magician’s memoir of magic in the late 1980s. There’s a particularly disturbing moment described therein where repeating numbers (particularly 333) appear.

Rather than being a sign that “the ascend masters are nearby, you’re in great hands,” it was the prelude to absolute chaos. In the Enochian system of angelic magic (which the magicians in the memoir work within), the number 333 has a more sinister meaning. In fact, it’s associated with the demon Choronzon! I screenshotted part of that book - pretty ominous, eh? It’s a far cry from being in great hands! (Pardon the Wikipedia link. It may be a Wiki but it does give a good overview.)

(Sorry for the weird highlighting all over the book. I started doing it in college and never kicked the habit. It’s the best way (for me) to absorb what I read. Typically I use OpenDyslexic, too, which helps, but I changed the font so that it would be more legible for y’all.)

Goes to show you that the “meanings” of these repeating numbers are going to vary depending on what system you’re working in and what symbolism rattles around in your head. The lists and websites about “angel numbers” won’t acknowledge that, though. In fact, very few give any references as to where these meanings are coming from at all. With that in mind, why trust “angel numbers” as a concept?

I can see on Google that a could of sites are claiming that “angel numbers” is an ancient concept dating back to Pythagoras. Yeah, no. Pythagoras had nothing to do with “angel numbers.” Rather, Pythagoras is the founder of a school of numerology. While I’d consider the “angel numbers” concept to be a a (warped) form of numerology, it’s utterly unlike what Pythagoras actually taught.

In reality, of course, Pythagoras was a philosopher, mathematician, and a legit mystic. He conjured a complex system of numerology, and it endures today in some circles. It’s way different than those angel numbers, though! Have a look! This particular page, by the unbeatable Benebell Wen, focuses on using numerology to find your “life path” number, which can then be analyzed alongside other numerological values,

Notice that the meanings are compartmental, meant to be understood within a wider context. They also have both positive and negative aspects of each number listed. The negative aspects are actually negative. Life path numbers are described in terms like arrogant, bossy, argumentative, codependent, egocentric.. and yet, also with positive qualities, such as leadership skills, a nurturing mindset, a strong work ethic, a propensity to help the less fortunate, etc. Other life paths get described as artists, fighters, leaders

Pythagorus’s numerology proper gives the spirits a lot of vocabulary for communicating with you. A spirit trying to warn you of something, for example, might do it more easily with this traditional Pythagorean numerology than through angel numbers.

Above is a clip from the article on Pythagorean numerology, discussing various “life paths.” You’ve got the good, the bad and the ugly traits listed for life paths one and two. The rest of the nine paths are treated with an equal degree of balance. While this particular numerology page doesn’t provide as much info on Pythagoras himself, it’s obviously a far cry from “the microwave said 3:33, it means the ascend masters are around me,” or the usual “good things coming soon” vibe of most angel numbers.

In other words, Pythagorean numerology has little to do with angel numbers and the New Agers should probably stop saying he “discovered angel numbers” or trying to link him to them in any way. He was a mathematician in addition to his philosophical work, and he did teach that the universe could be reduced to numbers ultimately, but that’s a far cry from the angel number mythos.That site I just linked has a lot of other good information, too. I really like Benebell’s work.

Ironically, as I’m writing this, I see that the clock says 3:33 am, but I doubt I’ll post it until later today. I recognize synchronicities are real and may even be messages from specific spirits, but I don’t believe this angel number concept is the best paradigm for approaching them. There’s nothing challenging about it, nothing to get your blood flowing, no liminal push, no impetus to grow. Just “expect the highest good,” and “your vibration is rising,” etc.

Again, I hope this doesn’t offend too many people.

I’m not trying to be mean or insult people who actually do like the angel numbers concept. I just really dislike it, for the reasons I’ve given. If you’re fond of it, it’s just something we’ll have to agree to disagree about. I gotta admit, I question the discernment involved. I don’t think indulging in the concept makes you a bad person or anything like that.

After all, you’re not exactly harming another person by fiddling with these angel numbers. I’m just saying that from my perspective (which was requested), angel numbers can sometimes promote toxic positivity and spiritual bypassing. And I do think there’s better paradigms for learning numerology out there. I’m sure there’s books on numerology in various cultures that give actual details unlike angel number memes.

Most of my numerology studies (smallish, my main interests are elsewhere) came form books that weren’t about numerology, but had a section or two about it.

Buck's not totally comfortable being alone with a therapist, but fortunately he makes a friend and ally who's willing to help him out - Eddie Diaz from the 136 who's just been caught in an illegal fight club.

Total strangers Buck and Eddie go to couple's therapy together to get out of the therapy requirements their captains have placed on them.

Eddie grins. “Yeah I get that. So can I ask why you applied for the room? No offence but you’re not exactly the kind of candidate I expected.”

Buck laughs, ducking his head. That’s probably true.

“I, uh, I’ve been staying at my girlfriend’s place while she’s travelling but um, my sister moved to LA recently and sort of made the point that I could be overstaying my welcome? Or, well- actually she tried to tell me my girlfriend’s cheating on me and I need to get over it and move out of her place.” Buck shakes his head, eyes widening at what he just implied. “She’s not! Cheating, I mean. She’s just- trying to find herself after losing her mom. She just needs a little space, y’know?”

At least, that’s the excuse Buck’s giving Abby for why she hasn’t called him in over two weeks.

Eddie nods with a vague sort of expression on his face like he hadn’t expected him to overshare that much. Which, oops.

In which Eddie decides to rent out his spare room to help with mortgage repayments right around the time Buck decides to move out of Abby's place after some not so gentle prodding from Maddie. It's a coincidence. Or serendipity. Or maybe just really good timing.

Lately I've started trying to lucid dream more so I can try shifting through that, I've been doing reality checks and I hope soon to shift, I'm getting closer I keep seeing repeating numbers, mainly 1111 or 111 or 333 sometimes even 444 and 555 (Maybe I should just say all numbers lol) Either way never give up, you will get there.

something i have been doing is tapping on my teacup in angel numbers, for example tapping five times, short break and repeating until it represents 555.

another version is swirling the teabag around / stirring with a spoon and thinking about affirmations or manifestations to infuse them in your tea. i've done this by swirling the number of times according to an angel number, thinking about one affirmation each turn, and doing this three times in total.

to others around you this will look normal if you go about it casually, it will just look like you're daydreaming and mindlessly swirling your tea around.

not only do i keep seeing 111 and 1111 but i've also been seeing 555 and 5555 and 333.

i've decided the universe wants me to open back up to spirituality in some capacity and that's why it keeps bombarding me with numbers

and the reason i find the numbers to be distressing is because i don't believe in that kind of stuff anymore, so then to have it shoved in my face as if it's real has kind of rocked my world

i'm gonna start taking the numbers as a good sign because i think i'm supposed to. and i think the numbers will slow down if i just accept them. that's why i've been trying to acknowledge it more. to try to get myself to accept it lol.

it's all so stupid but seeing repeating numbers makes me feel like i'm slipping back into psychosis. and it's hard to trust god when i only found god through powerful psychedelic trips. is any of that even real? i used to believe in god like it was almost a fact that god existed. i just had faith that there was something bigger out there, at work creating all this life. but the longer period of time i have apart from my last few spiritual awakenings it just feels less and less tangible and less and less believable.

was it all a hallucination? does that make it any less real?

Your head throbbed so violently you could feel your heartbeat in your temples. The stinging pain on the sides of your tongue was probably caused by your still-clenched molars, clamped shut so you didn’t scream and worry the neighbors, and you could hear the vanity cracking underneath your fingers as you crushed the edges in your tight, shaking fists.

It didn’t happen quickly enough for your liking, but eventually the pain subsided. You slowly made yourself relax — you eased your jaw muscles and drooped your shoulders and opened your hands to let slivers of wood and flakes of paint shower onto the floor below. Finally, you heaved yourself upward, hissing at the sharp protest your wrists gave you, swung your back foot forward to center yourself, and slowly tilted your head up to look in the mirror.

You looked like shit.

The angry red veins in your eyes slowly creeping inward clashed horribly with your crystal blue pupils. Your hair was drenched with sweat and clung to your skin, made you look like a drowned pomeranian. The blood dribbling out of your left nostril was bright against your pallid skin, vibrant in the ugliest way.

All you wanted to do was flop into bed and pass the hell out. The AB Game lasted thirty-six hours, after all.

Granted, you spent six of those asleep. Except you were unconscious and therefore not actually resting. Except this wasn’t even the body that had stayed up for thirty straight hours anyway. Except this was the same mind, even if it wasn’t the same brain, so the exhaustion was still valid. Except in that case you had to look at the subjective time you had spent awake, and because your mind had been processing at a little under half-speed, you had actually only been awake for twelve hours and change. Except you had Shifted just about forty times without pause, so the number of subjective hours you had spent awake was actually closer to a hundred. Except you could still feel a phantom shiver, which maybe meant that you didn’t Shift when Akane closed the pod door, but when you woke up from cryosleep, which maybe meant that you had a power nap, to the tune of forty-five years instead of forty-five minutes.

You couldn’t even decide if you felt like your exhaustion was valid or not. You just wanted to sleep and stop thinking.

Sadly, you had to save the world instead.

Your cell was on the vanity, so you didn’t have to go hunting for it. You picked it up, turned it on, swiped to the phone app, opened the keypad, and started dialing.

(Her eyes were the same hauntingly familiar shade of amethyst. Brighter, somehow, even in the dim light of the shabby room you woke up in, like they were backlit. They glared into your own, daunting and determined.

“702-555-0306.” She spoke faster than the old woman you met on the moon, her voice pitched higher with the energy of youth. “Repeat that number back to me.”

“Uh, 702-555-0306?”

“You’re gonna call that number as soon as you get back. Doesn’t matter how early or how late it is, if no one answers and it goes straight to voicemail, you leave a message and stay up as long as it takes for someone to call back. And they will call back.”)

They picked up on the first try, thank god. The speaker’s voice was masculine, a smooth tenor, young but firmly out of puberty. “Who are you and how did you get this number?”

“Hey, so, I dropped my Jumpydoll and I need some help getting it back.”

“…I’m sorry, run that by me one more time?”

“I said—”

(“I dropped my doll—”

“Jumpydoll.”

“—my Jumpydoll, and I need help getting it back? What are you having me say?”

“It’s a code phrase I set up, you’re saying that you come from a different time period and you need Crash Keys support.”

“…What kind of life do you have that you need a phrase like this?”

“An eventful one. Now, they’re gonna ask for a countersign—”)

“Alright… Where did you last see it?”

“Somewhere in Nevada, I think.”

“Aw, what the fuck… Alright, and when was that?”

“Around June, maybe?”

(“I’m guessing the first is where I need to go, since this Mars experiment went down in Nevada, and the second is confirming which direction I came from?”

“Nope.”

“Oh?”

“The first is saying what time period you’re coming in from. If you came from the past, you’d say that you lost it on a cruise liner.”

“Okay… then the month—?”

“That one’s telling whoever’s on the phone which person gave you the codes.”

“Your organization was so small you could assign everyone a different month?”

“No, there’s only two correct months. Anyway, the third question is important. It indicates severity.”)

“Goddammit, sis. Fine, sure. What color was the doll wearing?”

“Black.”

“…You’re shitting me.”

“I wish I was.”

“Fuck me running. Hope you got a bag packed, you’re getting on the next flight here.” You had a go bag, you were set to run. “What’s the name for the ticket?”

“Phi Sekishoku.”

“…Really now. How ‘bout that.”

(Marching orders given, Akane stepped away from your personal space and started messing with the console next to you. It was probably connected to your pod, and she was probably setting up the cryogenics that would put you to sleep for forty-five years. The pod’s lid was hanging above you, open at a sixty degree angle, which meant you were lying down. But you could see two shut pods next to you, and propping up on your elbows revealed a bed past them.

It looked like Kyle was sleeping on top of the blanket. Except this was forty-five years in the past and he had a tangle of metal sprouting from his shoulders, which actually meant that it was Sigma. You probably should have felt less surprised than you did, considering that Kyle was Sigma’s actual literal clone, but you really weren’t expecting to see an almost perfect replica, down to the stupid white decals on his navy blue shirt.

“Cryogenic process initiated,” a robotic female voice interrupted your inner monologue. “Freezing will commence in one minute.”

Akane came back then, reaching up for the pod door’s handle and motioning for you to drop down on your back. Her expression was identical to the old woman's in that moment, quietly commanding, resolute, and just the smallest bit dead inside. The similarity shook your brain and out of your mouth rattled a question you never got to ask in 2074.

“Does the name Zeta Sekishoku mean anything to you?”

Up to that point, Akane had been detached and muted. She listed commands like a prompt-fed machine, narrowing her eyes to emphasize a point, cocking her head while considering a response, ticking the corners of her mouth upwards when saying something that could be taken lightly. Going through the motions of emotions.

When you asked that question, she reeled as if struck. Her eyes flew open in naked shock, a sharp inhale filled her chest, and her hand flew down from the handle to cover her mouth. She stared at you as if you had broken a taboo, her skin paling like someone had walked on her grave.

“Freezing will commence in fifteen seconds. Please close pod door.”

And then the computer knocked Akane out of it, let her regain some of her composure. Her hand went back up to grasp the door handle, but her jaw was clenched and her purple gaze burned into you, the beginnings of tears pooling from her ducts.

“The name Zeta doesn’t mean anything to me.”

And she slammed the door shut.)
