Set-up with a Jupiterian android still in the emotional development stages of maturity, Sally regrets her decision to be set-up with a Jupiterian android still in the emotional development stages of maturity in, 'Lloyd'
Other Timelines Series... Spacetime Sally's Beautiful Tomorrow, a 1950s Atompunk style...
...which is very close to the 60s/70s New Wave sci-fi style normally seen, but with, ya' know, a 50s flair. Oh, and to answer that one person (the Ask button is over in the side links, now, btw), the title is NOT based on the John Woo movie, since that's called 'A Better Tomorrow', rather, it's based on the song, "There's a great, big, beautiful tomorrow... Shining at the end of every day..." by Rex Allen (you can check it out here). The title is in reference to how everything in the future of the 1950s was supposed to be nuclear-powered and awesome, like in Fallout, but I think we can see how it turned out by just looking around.

I was going to wait until I had full body references for them but I'm kinda impatient which means you get to see my designs for the crew from Stanisław Lem's "Eden" early.
I could yap about my design choices for a few paragraphs but I think I'll save that for the proper lineup. For now let's just say that I may have used a different, more recognisable group of 6 characters as an inspiration for their designs... and in 2 cases where that wasn't enough, I reused designs of my old characters.
Until then, enjoy these bonus doodles of Cybernetician, Engineer, Physicist and small cameos from Chemist

JOHN ANDERSON as GABE in THE TWILIGHT ZONE S1E32, "A PASSAGE FOR TRUMPET"
Take what you get. and you live with it. Sometimes it's sweet frosting, nice gravy. Sometimes it's sour, it goes down hard, but you live with it.

Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978) theatrical trailer
Miles Bennell (Kevin McCarthy) is a doctor in a small California town whose patients are becoming increasingly overwrought, accusing their loved ones of being emotionless imposters. They're right! Plant-like extraterrestrials have invaded Earth, taking possession of humans as they sleep and replicating them in giant seed pods. Convinced that a catastrophic pandemic is imminent, Bennell, in a terrifying race for his life, must warn the world of this deadly invasion of the pod people—before it's too late!
Pre-order Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

I may also be drawing connections that aren’t there but there’s some little things I can notice. Quirks, morality. Potentially just brain rot effecting how I see other movies but considering his literal connection to it- at least with a quote.
It’s also a fantastic movie in its own right, I really love thoughtful movies and metaphor and - people need to stop looking down at old movies because costumes are silly by todays standard.
