this is what I did today #100situp did #50pushups and lifting weights on arms and lifted and I counted up to 100 but I didn't do all at the same time I took some breaks in between of that front and side and did some jogging to the mall and back gotta get back into shape it's #summertime just around the corner also worked on my legs a little bit I think I'm gonna do this everyday when I wake up #selfie

3.60 miles, 36:32, 10:08 pace
I jinxed myself, didn't I? I said in my last running post that my pace had consistently been around 9:40/mile and then, of course, my pace today was back over 10:00/mile. Blah. 
Not going to let it get me down. The fact that I got out there is what's important. Am I disappointed? Yes. Am I trying to blame it on the "heat" since it was in the low 60s when I went out? Of course. But the truth is, some runs are going to be faster and some are going to be slower. Fact of life. 
Still need to get in my 50 push-ups. It's overcast and looks like rain. I hope it holds off so I can still walk to get Katie. It seems like there are precious few days when it isn't too hot or too cold or raining. 
One day closer to Friday. Thank goodness.

My shoulders feel all flim-flammy!
Just thought I would update you guys on how the 50 push-ups challenge is going. The first day I could only do 12 weak willed watery armed push-ups, but when I tweeted to Lindsay Hamel, the trainer who is motivating me through the challenge, she congratulated me! She said a lot of people who are just starting can only do 3-4 so my start was a strong one! Continuing on I added a few more each day, plus my squats. I’m now up to 40 push-ups, and 50 squats! And we’re only just eight days into the challenge. Is anyone else doing the challenge with me? Don’t forget to tag your posts #50pushups so I can find you!
