why I don’t understand those shows with ‘experts’

Sherlock: Your jumper shows sign of significant wear and tear meaning it must be your favourite and yet you didn’t wear it to the victim’s house last night. Why? You knew it was going to get messy from the start. It was cold premeditated murder.

Me: My aunt knit it for me and I don’t have the heart to tell her it’s the ugliest fucking jumper I’ve ever seen. I didn’t wear it last night because I was trying to impress a hot girl.

So I had a stupid dream on Thursday that Ruby and Weiss were Sherlock and Watson

basically they were going through a butchered plot of The Hound of the Baskervilles but they were much more chaotic (controlled chaos more like it)

and then yesterday I had a dream that it was Yang and Blake (respectively) instead

Yang was doing that one scene from one of the movies when Sherlock is fighting and she has the internal dialogue and ends up being like “discombobulate—wait, what?”

btw the hound was The Hound from RWBY cuz I’m so cool

One of my favourite things about starting a new show I've only heard about secondhand through Tumblr is discovering what's canon and what's just a wildly accepted headcanon.

Following on from that, it's always a particularly special treat when I start a show and feel rather confident that the main ship I'm aware of is something that's not canonical, only to realize within the very first episode HOLY SHIT they're actually obsessed with each other and even the other characters are saying so - I don't think the fans were being delusional this time.
