No filter. Why? Because you're beautiful just the way God formed you in your mother's womb. So my lovely girlfriend went out and got her hair done and it's absolutely gorgeous! 😍 But this post is to let ya'll know that I get to do something amazing with an amazing woman; for the first time ever I get to fast with my significant other with our Crossroads family. We'll be fasting from something, for someone, and for something. I'm personally fasting from a mobile game called Summoners War. For those of you who know me, I've played that game 24/7 on my phone for the past 2.5 years so this will be rather difficult. My lovely girlfriend on the other hand will be fasting from social media! day sixteen: thinking about my purpose

point to ponder: LIFE is ALL about LOVE! verse to remember: "The entire law is summed up in a single command: 'LOVE your neighbor as YOURSELF.'" - Galatians 5:14 question to consider: honestly, are relationships my first priority? how can i ensure that they are?

Day 1 Fasting

To God be the glory day 1 wasn't too bad but the headaches are killing me. I went bed earlier than usual as i became more and more lethargic as the day went on. 

Meditation

Meditation wasn't too bad as i could lose consciousness a little easier most likely due to my belly chakra having to absorb more energy as there were no food to feast on.

Physicality

Look pretty much the same but feel surprisingly stronger when having to exert muscle force for example i had to assemble my workstation table in my room and i just felt stronger doing that. That seems pretty weird as i haven't exercised in 2 weeks now in the run up to this meditation.

Mentality

Oh boy yes the last 24 hours have been a strong mental show of will in remembering God during times I would want to eat I have become stronger already. I can see why there are those that do and those that don't , not fully see but hope to by the end of this journey. I feel prepared for the next days after all i just have to repeat what was done 39 times now.

Relationship with God

Extra notes

I have seen how I have used food as a comfort. Whether that's me being happy with my partner and going out to eat or me being stuck on a computing problem and getting a snack while the workers in my mind extend their shift to find the solution as i indulge in a treat.

Tolerance was at an all time low I dropped a pen lid and was adamant that it landed where i saw it to the point of me refusing to bend down to find it as I believed it had been move by some external force.

Next stop is victory.
