"Sin Eaters"

Finally finished this epic piece for my homebrewed space marine chapter of warrior-women, the Sin Eaters! I was shooting for that classic Codex vibe, while sticking in a few of those old Rogue Trader-esque elements that I always love. Maybe I'll mock up some kind of faux-codex cover with some graphics later down the road.

Having spent nearly ten millennia in stasis only to be awoken in a broken shadow of his father’s dream of the Imperium of Man. But now, being a living beacon of hope in a crumbling empire, Roboute Guilliman is task with rebuilding his father’s dream. Now leading the indomitus crusade with the aid of new and improved space marines and founding thousands of new imperial regiments. He now starts the fight to reclaim what was lost and bring about ultimate victory. Enjoy!

It’s been a long time since I’ve done something complex and on a larger scale than A5. So, where better place to do that than revisiting and update an old image A3 image I did over 10 years ago. The Ultramarines alongside the War Griffons showing the sheer scale of war in the far-flung future of the 40th millennia. Enjoy!

Finally got around to adding color to this 40k OC illustration I drew last year! This is for a homebrewed Blood Angel successor chapter, the Sin Eaters. Originally, I'd planned for them to be in brilliant, azure blue (and may still post up a variant in that scheme), but this more muted, indigo tone was really speaking to me.
