Okay. You two needed to leave. Now.

You’d both been invited to this party at a bar further out in the city. It was a Saturday night, you both loved a good time with good friends…so you agreed. In the context of subtle foreshadowing, Fiyero should have been paying closer attention to you.

His first warning that things were going to get out of hand and quickly was your initial reaction to his outfit for the night. A tight, black wife beater, grey slacks, oxfords and a watch you got him. He did his hair the same as usual but you made him think otherwise. Slapping his ass when he went to open the front door for you, giggling while you made eyes at him, arms looped around his waist as you slid underneath his frame, leaning against the wood.

“Damn baby, got any fries to go with that shake?”

Fiyero smiles, shaking his head at you blatantly hitting on him with your hands on his ass. Even valiantly ignoring the way your hands then smooth up over him, touching everything you can. He should not have let you pregame unsupervised. You were buzzed; not quite tipsy and nowhere near drunk. The sound of you sucking air through your teeth prompts him to look down at you which ends up being another terrible error on his end because now you have that look. The one you usually have when you want him to make you c-

“Fuck, you’re hot. Maybe we can just stay in? I’d make sure you have a good time…” You trail off but those pretty nails of your finish for you as they drag down his bellybutton to his belt. Fiyero’s heart jumps but it feels warmer when it settles in his chest and he quickly shut his eyes, because he can not look at you talk to him like that in that pretty little number you called a dress, breathing deeply as he counts backwards. As he counts, he takes one of your hands in his, effectively stilling their devious wandering then placing the other over your glossy lips before you manage to talk him out of his underwear with his pants still on.

45, 40, 35, 30, 25, 20….

One last soothing breath later because no, you’re not ditching your friends so he can rail you, Fiyero lets go, opening his eyes and smiling at you like normal but getting in your face as he locks eyes with you.

“Aren’t you trouble? And the night hasn’t even started. Come, didn’t you say you want to go out more?” You hum as you think his words over, ultimately agreeing only because you had said that and so not because you wanted to drink, dance, and gossip or anything like that. You nod as you lean off the door, letting him open it and lead you out to the car, hand pressed against the small of your back.

Fiyero opens the door for you and you get in, blowing a kiss at him as he closes your door to get in on his side. He has an idea that he’ll be the responsible tonight as he goes to start the car and pull out. His second warning is the way you’re oddly quiet as he drives, he’s too busy watching the road to see and you’re too busy looking at his hands. You put music on and he’s content as you caress the side of his face…that is- until you whisper,

“Now those are fingers Id love knuckle deep inside me.”

He’s never been more grateful for a red light as he turns his head to look at you, both aroused and bewildered. You never spoke to him like this. Not unless you were close, so surely you won’t get worse right?

Three hours later…

Wrong.

You were together when you’d first arrived until you were whisked away by your friends and he got caught up in doing what he does best…being the life center of any party. He’s in the middle of a game with different colored shots when your favorite song of recent starts to play.

Getting up, he looks around until he finds you in the stuffy atmosphere. Walking up to you and winking at your friends in greeting as he pulls you away to dance with him. Smiling at the way you swing your hips to the beat as you follow him, coaxing his hips to grind in tandem against your ass when you sidle up to him as the song picks up.

We don’t gotta take it slow, imma hit the gas if you ready to go

I wanna feel the sweat breathin’ through your clothes

The way you touch my neck got me ready to fall

You loop your arms around his neck, as you whine your waist, letting him see clear down your dress from the way he’s pressed up behind you. Your movements are so fluid the way you move against him, the sweat making your skin glisten alluringly as your bodies roll against each other. You were floating. Partially from all the drinks and because of how good it felt to move like this so closely with Fiyero. Big hands supporting you as you twirled around him. It was already hot from how many people were there but now it was even hotter with you all over him. Dancing and grinding on him like he wasn’t going home with you anyways at the end of the night. Spinning to face him, you take his big hands and drag them down your breasts, into your sides and down to your ass as you bat your sultry lashes up at him.

Fiyero bites his lip as he takes you in, huffing in amusement because you really didn’t have to try at all to get him under your spell, he leans down to talk into your ear- to make sure you hear him over the pounding bass.

“Want me to take you home pretty girl?”

The second you open your mouth to answer he’s jerking you back, eyebrows furrowed. Your mouth smelled like strawberries. Sickeningly sweet. Fiyero snaps his head to find the table you and your friends were at, alarmed when he can’t count all the glasses on the table. Just how many of those pink glittery drinks have you had? Before he can process what to do next, he feels you mouth at his neck, sucking wetly as you lick over the each bruise you give him, other hand resting on his ass. Fiyero’s hand shoots out to steady you as you hook your leg up around his waist, dress riding up as you grind on his length through his pants, and moving those terribly tempting kisses to his ear while you whisper into it, slurring.

“Let me blow you. I wanna see if I can cum just from choking on it.”

Fiyero is wholly unprepared for the shot of heat that slots through his body, inhaling sharply as he pulls your dress down as best he can, leaving his hand to rest under your ass for more coverage. You always got so startlingly horny when you were this drunk. Fuck, he needed you two to leave now. A migraine was already forming. You needed sleep and a deep glass of water and he needed a cold shower.

As much as he would love and really love to indulge in every unfiltered fantasy you had, it didn’t feel entirely right. You were- for lack of better term- plastered. Off your face. So, it wasn’t that he didn’t want you but that he wanted you to be completely aware and able to remember when he did have you. To be with you in the way he normally was when you were in such a state felt a lot like taking advantage of you despite the fact that you were together and the initiator of any activities that required being naked.

The next whine against his mouth has him picking you up, wrapping your legs around his waist as he moves his arm over your ridden up dress to cover any view. Walking towards your table to get your things while you giggle breathlessly, running your hands over the curved muscles of his shoulders and arms. Sighing as you do and not at all subtle with how you fuck him with your eyes alone.

“You’re so delicious, Fi” you purr out. Moving your hand to rake your nails down his nape, testing his sanity and control. Time to count again.

He thanks your friends when they hand him your bag, bidding them goodnight and ignoring their claps and fake moans as they mimic what they think you two will be doing once you get home. Fiyero waves to his friends and they nod at him before he leaves out the bar all while carrying you; to the car, almost completely hard from the way you’re pawing at him and the filth coming out of your mouth. He sits you temporarily on the hood of his car, bending to take your heels off your feet and putting them in the backseat with your bag.

When he straightens to face you, his attention is immediately directed downwards when he notices your dress is up, your legs are propped open…and you aren’t wearing any panties. It’s like a punch to the gut and he’s not sure a cold shower will cut it anymore. He needs an ice bath. You notice where his focus is and merely shrug your shoulders,

“Made sure I wore less this time.” Yeah. He can definitely see that. Shaking his head to physically snap himself out of it. He was a gentleman- of sorts- and had some self control. So again, no; you will not be getting railed tonight.

After another sequence of deep breathing, you’re picked up again before being sat in on your side as Fiyero strides over to his, wasting no time starting the car and pulling off.

It’s less than 10 minutes into the drive when you’re unbuckling your seat and climbing into his lap, wrapping your arms around him as you roll your hips, bathing him in your scent and he honest to god whines at the sight and sensation of you. God, there was no touch or feeling, pleasure or pain; anything like the way you ran right through his veins.

Despite the tension, Fiyero found himself placing a rather soft kiss to the top of your head. Humming as you snuggled further into him, finally tiring as you quieted- leaving him with his thoughts.

So maybe he didn’t quite get to let loose like you did tonight but that was more than alright. Content with each peaceful breath he felt on his chest; making him smile from just how fond of you he was.

So fond in fact, that the ice cold shower he took later was not all that bad.

David Arnold’s ‘end of the world’ complex and multi-genre soundtrack.

From the Award-winning composer of Sherlock and Casino Royale comes a follow up to the hugely successful, Emmy nominated Good Omens soundtrack.

Good Omens series 2 premiered on Prime Video on 28th July. The series follows the odd couple, angel Aziraphale (Michael Sheen) and demon Crowley (David Tennant) in their quest to sabotage the end of the World. The six-episode sequel to the popular adaptation of the novel by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, concerns the Archangel Gabriel (Jon Hamm) arriving without his memories to Aziraphale’s bookshop. Aziraphale and Crowley attempt to find out what happened to Gabriel, whilst hiding him from Heaven and Hell, both eager to find him.

The Soundtrack

David Arnold’s soundtrack to Good Omens was first released in 2019 to favourable reviews, with BBC Music Magazine calling it “a rollicking trip to hell and back”. Blueprint Magazine described it as “a great listen” and Sci Fi Bulletin commented on “plenty of memorable themes” to conclude that “This is another work of art from Arnold”. At times nostalgic and eerie but always varied, beautiful and full of excitement, the Good Omens 2 soundtrack showcases Arnold’s every skill from his composer arsenal. Featured here are orchestral arrangements with sprinkling of Sugar Plum Fairy pizzicato and percussion, jaunty strings and mighty choral sweeps from Crouch End Festival Chorus. Added to the mix are rock guitar riffs, and psychedelic 70s sounds and all together they create a haunting otherworldly feel, complementing the fantasy and the quirky humour of the show. The spirited Waltz of the opening theme is also present in the second series and it wonderfully sets the scene for fantastical mayhem. In series 2, this robust, evocative, and funny music entity, becomes yet again another character in the story. Random things I noticed while playing What Remains Of Edith Finch

There was a poster of the cannery that Lewis worked at on the boat.

2. Edith Jr wears what appears to be an engagement on a necklace. Whether this is her ring or her mothers is not mentioned.

3. At the start of the game, Milton's missing posters are EVERYWHERE. There is even a giant pile of them in a nearby lake.

4. The dragon slide that crushed and killed Sven is still outside.

5. As you walk toward the house, the music gets louder.

6. The swing that Calvin flew off decades ago is still looped around the branch.

7. There was a spare peep hole in the garage that didn't have any names or dates on it.

8. At multiple points throughout the game you can hear a train in the background, despite the fact that the train tracks are clearly destroyed.

9. There are multiple pots throughout the Finch house that looks like they have eyes.

10. One of the books the Finches possessed was 'King in Yellow', a book known for making anyone who read it insane.

11. The house sounds alive, or like there are people constantly moving around it.

12. Walters bedroom is painted with both ocean and train designs. One of the paintings is the old house that Odin tried to bring to America.

13. There are drag marks on the ground of Walters bedroom (most likely made when his drawers were taken out of his room.)

14. The entrance to the tunnels is hidden by a book called 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, a classic sci-fi story about a sea monster.

15. Molly's room is filled entirely with animal books.

16. There is a jelly fish on Molly's bed (possible connection to the monster??).

17. Molly has a chalkboard in her bedroom where she is a princess in an underwater castle and Sven is about to get attacked by a sea monster (slightly resembling the dragon slide).

18. As shark!Molly starts falling down the cliff, she passes a road where headlights are briefly scene.

19. When the monster gets back to Molly's room, the window that cat!Molly jumped through is still open.

20. There are still Christmas decorations in Molly's room.

21. The curse is 500 years old. That is a lot of dead people.

22. In Odin's viewfinder, it states "His [Odin's] daughter, Edie, is already dreaming of new Finch house" showing that even though her own father died not even a week ago, Edie has already moved on.

23. The house is filled head to toe with books about death, including two that Odin wrote.

24. Sven's shrine does not have a log painting like the rest of the family. His portrait is painted on a simple canvas.

25. Edie has a number of strange tapes in her room including one titled "conspiracy now".

26. The toys from Gregory's final bath are still in the bathroom.

27. There is an old bottle of alcohol in the bathroom bin.

28. A lot of Sam's photos are based on Calvin (a swing, astronauts).
