Hey! Dyt that they have Ruined Striker’s Character in Helluva Boss? I Loved The Striker that we had in Season 1 but in Season 2 it feels a bit off for me, I don’t know where to put my finger on it. It’s like he lost that sense of character that he had in Season 1, It’s hard for me to explain it. I guess I shouldn’t have expected as much for This Series but sadly Love it and would it be Bad if I thought that Striker and Blitz should have ended up Together and take his offer in The Harvest Moon festival Episode? (if they did take that offer, I would’ve loved to see them taking down some Overlords in Hell, Plus Something about Their interactions made me Ship Them More Than Stolas, Wondered what actually happened if he joined the I.M.P?? I mean he nearly did but Oh Well) and Also Blitz has a Horse!? Does Loona know about this!? WT-!?

Reasons why Striker's character is "ruined" since season 2:

1. His arrogance has been upped to a ridiculous degree (big d*ck statues of himself) He was only arrogant around Moxie because they hated each other, but Striker showed off in physical skill and song. Not sexually? 2. In season 1, he was stealthy, unknown, and very cunning. In season 2, he is brash, famous, and dumb. (He tries to kill Stolas in a public setting without protecting his own identity, he's apparently a well-known killer for hire in Wrath, and he doesn't kill Stolas immediately after finally tying him up in the alleyway. 3. In season 1 he wiped the floor with Moxie, Millie, and Blitz, while in season 2, randomly, Millie & Moxie and Blitz defeat him easily and twice, making him look pathetic. 4. In season 1 he was hired by Stella, a high-class goetia to kill Stolas, and thus was provided angelic weapons to do so. He hates upper-class demons and to be working for one is a high level of irony that adds more to his character; but it also hinted that he was playing dirty, that he would eventually use these weapons to turn against Stella to kill other high-class demons to fight against the political power balance (which is what he invited Blitz to) and Stella provided a great boon for him; extremely rare, dangerous weapons. In season 2, he's seen working for Crimson. However, he is the one providing his resume, almost begging to be hired by a (supposed to be) low-class IMp Mob Boss, but outside of maybe money, Crimson has nothing of value to offer in comparison to the hot deal that was Stella's offering. 5. In season 1, he is brutal but thorough with his attacks. He doesn't play with his toys. In season 2, he drags Stolas's torture out, messing around and playing with him for no good reason. (Yeah, Stella ordered that, but she ordered it LATER, AFTER Stolas was captured, and even that is against what season 1 Stella wanted, she wanted him dead ASAP. There is no reason to torture Stolas, especially if it leaves things open for him to escape. 6. His voice actor changed. Bosco does a really good job, but it's just not the same. Striker was probably the best villain in the series, and now he's just kind of a villain of the we(a)k kind of character I just don't care about anymore.

His character was only slightly better in the Fizzarolli past episode, but just seeing him dumbly pay attention to Fizz's song just solidified he's a joke now. Season 1 Striker would never do that. He would have sniffed out Blitz and gone after him immediately. Maybe have even shot Fizz; Crimson ordered him not to hurt him, but I dont think Striker would give a damn at that point. I agree that Striker and Blitz would be a far more interesting dynamic. Actually fighting against the power instead of Blitz just... sleeping with said power. Blitz wrapped himself up in Stolas, basically becoming his s*x slave in exchange for the book. Blitz even runs a business for sinners, sinners of which are dangerous towards imps and overpopulating Hell's upper layer. Striker offers him an out, Striker offers him everything. He offers him change, he offers him a chance to be someone. Stolas on the other hand still hasn't changed his classist attitude. A part of him will always disrespect Blitz, and I don't know if the writers will ever address it at this point. I mean, Blitz was confirmed to have been attracted to him. It very well could have happened.

Ch 112: Random Thoughts

Now, after what happened in ch 101, let's see what we got...

Nene and her plant pot, what a nice way of summarizing the hardships she went through until this point.

Her "past present", the "uncool" plant with the "rotten root", that got Nene to face too many hardships with the damaged pot to keep it, No.1 took it, gave her the chance of replacing it with a nice flowery plant of the same kind, representing this "ideal present" they want to set. Yet, she doesn't want it and shouted they give her "her plant" back, and the bigger picture "old present " back. Even if the ideal is nice, flowery, and the old one is full of hardships, we still want it and won't trade it.

We can also present Hanako-kun and Tsukasa-kun into the picture as well.

So, I'm looking forward to see Nene-chan fighting, struggling to have things back to how they used to be, to have those special to her back into her life.

Wooh, sweet girl. ~ seriously, that's Tsukasa she "smacked!" His face gets me in there. lol feel her wrath, Tsu. ~ don't get on Nene-chan's nerves, you'll regret it. ~

Kay, so we meet the 2 girls in Tsukasa's assistant's class, the class seems to be going with a "hunted house" instead of "a maid caffe". Kou's class activity in the past present. Tsukasa's assistant doesn't seem to be a part of that class? Good for the 2 girls I'll say.

Hmm, in a sense, I wonder what came of her and her servant in this ideal present. How does her master not being there impact her?

Where are the 2 of them? How are they doing? Does she need to be pretending to be a student in this ideal present? Same maybe goes to her servant. What shape do they take in this setting?

Regardless of that, I assume she is one of those who aren't affected by what the keepers did. She has 3 days to make a meaningful move to get things back in her favor, huh?

Can she make any move? All they've done with the rumors, etc. is erased. As I assume, the first move she took into really getting into what she wants, was "meeting" Tsukasa and making a wish to him. I do wonder "when" that happened exactly. Anyway, in this setting, she has to start from point 0? But for some reason, a bond as powerful as one a human shares with a supernatural, Tsukasa to be specific, needs to be special, for some reason I don't think it's "really" erased, somehow. Maybe that can come to her help, maybe too, whatever position to have her stuck in school in the first place. Even though, would her special lady kannagi or whatever rule come to light this arc? Hmm... kinda doubt it?

If she will be brought to light, she will have to rely on Nene's abilities like always I assume? So? Don't go have a chat with Nene, kay? Nor send your dog to fetch her or whatever. I will be surprised if she can swing "alone" and on her own. No Tsukasa, no Nene (who might not remember her at all), and oh, if we were to imagine no nat, what can she do... hmm... how far can she get...

Luring Nene into doing stuff for her is no surprise coming from her. In the p.p arc, she was so chill knowing Nene won't choose that perfect world, that if Nene chose to stay within will be a problem for her, and would want the usual world back, destroying No.4's yorishiro, what she really needs Nene for, to do that. Same goes here really, maybe she won't have to interfere so much, that in mind.

If destroying No.1's yorishiro is the only thing she wants out of this mess, she gets it no sweat. Nene on her own free - will, will do that to ensure the usual present is back. Now, I wonder, will Akane be handing the yorishiro to Nene like No.4 did, too?

Uh, thinking of him, this feeling within me is funny, while a good part of his fans are freaking out he is "not there anymore", I go imagining various scenarios of Mr. time issues of his own, but never one of "OH! HE IS GONE!! WHAT!! NOOO!!! HE NEEDS TO BE BROUGHT BACK!" I see him chilling in the red house room, nowhere space... and having a cup of tea. severance Tsukasa-puzzle vibes I go: well, it already was a gift to have Tsukasa there for like... 8 chapters straight. THAT'S INSANE! oh, so now it's about time we're back to the Tsukasa is no where to be found era again? cool. last time he was gone for a year, the one before it almost 2 years and a half, I wonder how long he will take this time until he comes back. Hmm, should I start a count down? even if something bad happened to him with how the keepers went, easy, things will be back to normal again, after a while. so really, nothing to worry about too much. I'm so chill. I doooo wonder if Tsukasa's "always so relaxed" charm got to me, actually.

I see various possibilities with 12 y.o Tsu and yorishiro Tsu... the best one being the 2 of them working together, having Nene dancing elegantly between them, the worst one is oh, the keepers really managed to get around him somehow, did a number on him, but hey! that's only temporarily! At the end, we will be back to how things were, and voila! he is there again! so no need to worry too much.

I wonder what can they really do about Tsukasa, or rather, what's inside of him. But then again, I think maybe we need to also keep in mind, from what we know so far, Tsukasa, regardless of what's in him, was killed by a kitchen knife. Pretty simple, eh? He is still "Human" in a way. At least, I don't know, that's how "simply" it took Amane to kill him gets me. Tsukasa then what? Became a supernatural? Amane's yorishiro... still kept what's inside of him... hmm... this boy is so confusing. How am I supposed to think into that thing regarding him?

Anyway, having No.1 going after "what's in him", knowing what they are doing, they seem to have a solid plan on how to deal with "Tsukasa" in general.

Continuing with what we have to show the present based on Tsukasa not being there, Mei is alive! What a surprise! The one to really shock me! The other characters, I can get how things changed for them, but then Mei? What does she have to do with Tsukasa? Then I remember No.4's wish, that by the end of it Mei chose to die and... oh? Maybe that's it? I don't know how to feel when I think about Mei walking confidently to her death, and assume it might be a thing Nene will do one day, in the same manner...

Mei was already being cured in a hospital and was said to die soon, right? In this present, she recovered up well? Maybe her illness wasn't really that serious and she recovered easily... ...

She drew No.4/her other self as a thing so she could live. Hmm, in this ideal present it seems she didn't need to do that? Or she did, but the difference is that she meaningfully recovered and lived. No.4's wish to Tsukasa didn't exist. Is this again, one of the scenarios where the reason of your death is the person you love?

Hmm... does... Mei's other self exist or not in this "reality"? And, speaking of No.4... what was the price she paid to Tsukasa, really?

Kou, seems to always meet Nene with the same behavior. Pretty cute. But oh, as expected.. they don't know each other in this present.

Mitsuba being alive, really reinforces his death wasn't that simple one of "he died getting potatoes". We're having a present based on not having Tsukasa there. So, it seems the photo Mitsuba took of the red house means more than it looks like.

But wow, have to say I was yet again surprised by Kou and Mitsuba naturally being friends.

Come again? Mitsuba didn't need to die, become a ghost, or anything for Kou to pay attention to him? Become friends with him? Kou did that naturally? Wow. No really, wow.

Having Aoi calling "Minamoto-kun" as "Teru-kun"... you sure this is a nice present for you, guardian of the present, Aoi Akane? How is your relationship with Aoi going?

Now, now... Nene's "popularity" is...

She took the rule of Dorothy instead of twister no. 4. She seems pretty well-known and admired...

Ahem, going by the pattern again, a present based on Tsukasa not being there... excuse me but... what does he have to do with her being popular or not? ^_^

Unless, it was No.1... trying in a way to give her a "present" she won't say no to? So she won't try to change? So she will accept the flowery plant? I don't mean to be rude in any way, Nene is so gorgeous, but... it seems her ankles problem doesn't exist in this present, despite her still having them the way they are. people are nice in there, unlike in the usual present.

Uh, seeing Nene performing Dorothy on stage, not only in front of Hanako, while actually wearing the dress... awww....

And, she imagines seeing Hanako there, only for him to disappear later... sad. But no worries girl! It will be alright. Things will be back to normal. p.p arc, severance vibes. ~ Hanako.. really looked like his father, in his and Tsukasa's 4th birthday. the same image. I always find that cool when I can see parents represented in their children.

Now, to the scene of the guy who made sure to "lock" the door before her goes all out... more keys for us to see apparently, because clearly we haven't seen enough already.

Seems he was waiting for the chance to come to have a payback. His threat was somewhat real, Akane. ~

So yeah, Akane speaks of the butterfly effect, he mentions some stuff. Will Teru end up liking this present or will he reject it and join Nene in getting back the usual one? For some reason, his mother, that was brought up in the red house arc, a possible wish for Kou to make... came to me. It's a wild thought within me but... can she be "alive" in this present? The Minamoto grandmother, too? I mean, she didn't have to use all her power to seal "Hanako-san". The man in the shrine 4 y.o Tsukasa talked about didn't die...? so now... how is Nagisa doing? He is not the one in charge of the shrine now if that man is still alive, is he? Hmm, he came to the festival with Tiara, did that change in the ideal present?

Anywaaaaaay, it's cool we'll be back to the usual present in 3 days, huh? Let's enjoy what will happen during them. ~

Tsuchigomori! And here I was wondering how he's been doing. Thinking the supernatural in charge of the records can't be affected easily. It seems that way.

Oh, so we got to see young man Amane. But, right now, he needs to be around 60 years old. Where is he? Is he still alive, or died along the way? or went missing? For how many years did he get to live/be around if that was the case?

Hmm... how did his close relationship with Tsuchigomori start in the ideal present I wonder... Yugi was an old colleague of his he said... hmm.. maybe a student of his, too? Maybe some kind of "incident" brought them together?

Yugi Amane always entrusts Mr. Tsuchigomori with things, before he does something "crazy" usually connected to... Tsukasa... a moon rock, now a watch. Hmm... what did this boy do this time?

Tsukasa x time... Tsukasa x time x Amane = ? hmmm.....

He was trying to get the big clock to move again.... gave Tsuchigomori a watch... both stopped moving at some point... now I wonder... what "some point" it is exactly... Why do I keep flashing to this... I have no idea...

Too manny stopped things... deals with time...

We can also add the big clock that stopped moving at some point, if I were to get ahead of myself, I would say it stopped the time Tsukasa left the red house.

Based on what we've seen so far, Tsukasa is so life changing!! ALL of these futures of people are back to ........... Mr. Root!!!! I'm interested to get to see more into this "supposedly" ideal present, before the time comes for us to say goodbye.

He lost his arm when he was 5 years old because he was collecting cotton underneath a dangerous machine his twin was the one who dragged him from under it

-thier grandma lives with them although she has Alzheimer's and tends to forget that bobbin lost his arm and Lacey lost two of her fingers so whenever she asks them about it they come up with different stories about it it's very much normal for bobbin and Lacey to make fun of their disabilities but they don't let anyone make fun of it

- have a twin sister named Lacey and a younger brother named wooly he and Lacey have to keep an eye on him to make sure he doesn't get in trouble so bobbin is used to looking after someone

Once graffiti the peacekeepers base

His ma is a very tough lady and she's the one who taught him how to kill someone with a sewing needle and yells at anyone who messes with her children and is kinda feared in their neighborhood and bobbin enjoys watching her go off on someone and he likes to copy her way of talking

- he and wovey are neighbours and when wovey's mother died he and Lacey comforted her during the funeral and bobbin s mother said that wovey is under her protection and she became like a second mother to wovey

- he loves wearing bright colours and had dreams of visiting the beaches of district 4 as there are no beaches or much nature in district 8 so he's grandma sewid aquatic embroidery on his clothes and

- some of the girls in the factory that he worked in had a crush on him but he didn't know who to choose, so he pretended he didn't notice

- doesn't stand anyone messing with his family and friends, anyone who dares doing that would face his wrath

- made friends with other kids who lost limbs in the factory he works in it's very common for that happening in district 8

- is knowledgeable about medical stuff as he regularly had to help his cowerekers who get injured it also made him unphased by blood he has seen some stuff in the factory he works in

- was very protective of wovey throughout their journey to the capitol and in the zoo and even let her cuddle him when she would be scared

- absolutely hated hilarius and Juno and couldn't stand them, he also wanted to punch lucky in the face

- managed to get some food by telling people how their clothes were made although not much because he's attitude wasn't to their liking and some kids were disgusted by him ( yeah he faced a lot of aibliseim in the capitol)

- befriend mizzen as he would ask him about district 4 but he mostly kept to himself and wovey was who would interact the most with him

- defended wovey from capitol folks who were bullying her

The Boy in the Walls Chapter 4

As Oliver's eyes adjusted to the light, he realized he was in a small glass jar with a lid. He tried to move, but found that he was stuck in the jar with no way out. Fear gripped him as he realized he was trapped, and his breathing became rapid.

Unexpectedly, he heard a voice that sounded familiar. It was his host, speaking softly to him. Oliver recognized the voice and tried to calm down. He closed his eyes and focused on his breathing, trying to slow it down. he couldn't ruin his small air supply, who knew how long he would be held captive.

As he calmed down, he began to listen to what the human was saying. "I'm sorry I scared you, little guy," the host said. "I didn't mean to frighten you." strangely enough, the human seemed to have lowered its voice since their last encounter.

Oliver opened his eyes and looked up at the human. He saw that the teen had a gentle smile on his face and was looking at him with a mix of curiosity and concern. Oliver never really had a chance to study the human closely like this.

surprisingly enough, the human had grey eyes, but they weren't menacing, they looked kind, like platinum, and they had a gleam of curiosity in them. his hair reminded Oliver of bird feathers, black, but it shined with bluish purple. like ravens.

"w-what do you w-want with me? what are you going to to to me?" Oliver asked hesitantly.

a spark of realization seemed to hit the human "No, no! I promise I won't hurt you," the host replied with a slightly hurt expression "I just want to understand what you are and how you got here."

Oliver felt a glimmer of hope. Maybe he could find a way out of this mess after all. He took a deep breath and tried to collect his thoughts. 'can I trust a human? he seems nice enough, but he also put  me in a jar and caused me to pass out...twice' he thought for a few minuets, until the human spoke again.

"so...do you have a name, or should I just call you tiny person?"  he asked in an attempt to break the ice. at which he so horribly failed.

"o-of course I have a name!" he said defiantly, clearly not getting the joke. then realizing he may have angered the human by speaking so brashly, apologized "s-sorry, my names O-Oliver"

"That's a cool name, mine is Isaac" the teen said with a teethy smile. Oliver noted how big the humans mouth was.

"S-so um...could let me out now, I-its kind of uncomfortable in here." Oliver asked, internally praying the giant would say yes.

"Will you swear on the River Stix  to stay if I do?" Isaac said with a hint of sarcasm.

"what's a r-river stixs?" the borrower asked, tilting his head like a confused puppy. and Isaac had to contain an 'aww'. 

"never mind, but will you?" he asked hopefully.

Oliver considered his options. He could either say no and risk the humans wrath, or he could say yes and have a chance for escape.

"I-I suppose..." he said hesitantly.

As soon as he had said the words, Oliver immediately regretted it, Isaac abruptly reached into the jar trying to fish him out. when he had seen he humans intentions, Oliver pushed himself as far away as he could from it. he wanted nothing to do with that thing. Unfortunately though, Isaac was too quick, and caught Oliver by the shirt.

The borrower was then lifted out of the jar and through the air. The whole room spun around him as he was held by his shirt and placed onto the humans desk. As soon as his feet hit the wood, Oliver bolted for the nearest hiding place, which so happened to be the nearby pencil case. Oliver sat behind the large bag, shaking like a leaf, and holding his legs close to him.

"Wha-Oliver, why did you run?" Isaac said, in a soft yet booming voice. causing a large gust of hot air to blow onto Oliver, making him to shiver more violently. "Please come out, I didn't mean to startle you...again"

Though the tiny boy did not know it, Isaac could see Oliver perfectly well without him coming out, but he would still give Oliver the choice. The human continued to plead to Oliver, but the borrower was in the midst of one of his 'attacks'.

Oliver was scared, more then he had ever been in his entire life. He had been caught, and when the human had been kind, he had run and very likely angered the human. Now he was hiding in a rather obvious place, but Oliver didn't want to move. Isaac continued to talk but Oliver couldn't hear over the sounds of his pulse slamming against his eardrums.

"*sigh* fine, if you don't want to come out, I wont force you." The human said in a sad and quite frankly defeated tone. These words, Oliver did manage to hear, and they surprised him greatly. 'What is this guy trying to pull? Couldn't he just kill me if he wanted to? Why make me wait' Oliver thought to himself but was interrupted by the sound of the human leaving the room.

The Gap in the Evening, Entry 4: The Resolver Files

Aya’s newspaper must reach some unusual figures here, since not only did we have a witch knocking at our door in the middle of the night, but now we’ve attracted the attention of a shrine maiden. Was this one of those important figures she was talking about? There’s nothing much we can do about that now since the boundary between “some time” and “no time” has since passed. Open sesame…

(Two hour time skip)

That wasn’t as bad as I thought. After explaining what we were doing in a kappa warehouse and how we were involved with investigating an incident in another universe, she noted everything- including the condition of her parallel self- and asked for someone else to step inside to negotiate the specifics of our residency for her to make a personal note of, which was none other than Nitori Kawashiro, the same kappa we met the other day. She knew us decently enough to negotiate a solution to our residency problem by single-handedly moving our stuff to the upper floor and moving all of the kappa’s inventory into the back room of the lower floor. Afterwards, Nitori seemed to yank Aya- who was also called in for her role in recommending this supposedly vacant space to us and making our presence known to several big names in Gensokyo- by her pointy tengu ear down to her height and told her something that made her flinch in fear, then asking Aya to help her and Reimu get settled into this place for the long term. If only all of our apartment issues could get settled as easily as this, but perhaps that’s just what happens when you deal with their main incident resolver as a mediator between someone who sells real estate and someone who holds real estate. Stuff gets done quickly to a happy compromise. Once everything was settled, Reimu told us to contact her in case we needed help with investigating our incident for any reason or if any of the youkai gave us a problem before leaving. They seemed like a decent welcome party, but I can’t shake the feeling that we’d need more than those three to help us out with our case…

Personality: Reimu is easygoing and optimistic while also being a mix of both dutiful and lazy depending on the day. Her sympathetic nature allows her to get along with a lot of the people she encounters after their first interaction, even if they were the ones to cause an incident. However, this doesn’t bar the possibility of wrathful anger when provoked for a number of reasons such as pranks, incidents, unexpected obstacles, or someone messing with her donation box. Never mess with her donation box.

Occupations: Shrine Maiden, Incident Resolver, random odd-jobber

Home Region: Hakurei Shrine

Abilities: Capable of flight and being the Hakurei shrine maiden

Flight: An extension beyond physical flight seen with many of Gensokyo’s residents. Reimu’s ability allows her to fly through life with extraordinary intuition and luck, seemingly putting her in the path of least resistance unless she acts with impure/arrogant motives or gets distracted by something else.

Fantasy Nature: The final form of Reimu’s ability of flight- Fantasy Nature- allows her to float away from reality and become impossible to hit, making her capable of defeating everything from threats to pressure, stress, and most notably, gravity. This was considered too powerful to use against opponents for a long time until Marisa gave it a name and time limit to make it a regulation-legal spell card, which allows opponents to time it out and win the duel by dodging it. If her opponent can time out this bullet hell attack, she is forced to concede as per the rules if she either (A) has no more spell cards to declare, or (B) she and her opponent(s) aren’t actively engaged in close-quarters fisticuffs that render spell cards as secondary special attacks and only ending said fight once someone is out cold. In any fight where spell cards are declarable, this ability is essentially her Last Word; her strongest spell card and her final attack in a standard danmaku battle.

Hakurei Heritage: As the current Hakurei Shrine Maiden, Reimu can handle the clan’s Yin-Yang Orbs as effective weapons against youkai. She is also versed in youkai extermination techniques and other duties common with shrine maidens such as performing rituals and blessings. Reimu is also capable of channeling the gods of Gensokyo as part of her lineage, but her lack of training makes her unable to do it reliably. In the latter case, she usually fails. She also doesn’t know the identity of her shrine’s deity, which somewhat hinders her faith collection.

Barriers: A series of techniques involving magical barriers which Reimu can channel as a utility for numerous situations. This ability also makes her capable of- while uncommon in necessity on the surface- dismantling other barriers and seals that seem too complex for magicians like Marisa and Patchouli, as well as maintaining the Great Hakurei Barrier on the outskirts of Gensokyo.

Gaps: For the duration of the Urban Legend Incidents at least until the end of the Perfect Possession Incident, Reimu could open gaps similar to the ones used by Yukari as an ability gained that was based on the “Gap Woman” urban legend, where she can use them in her attacks or to use them as portals. It’s unknown if she can still do this, though many suggest that this ability has weakened since the end of the incident.

Skills: Rudimentary athleticism, a mean-looking Ascension Kick, capable of making food for herself or an entire festival if she has one

Possessions:

Yin-Yang Orbs: Divine heirloom artifacts that harness the power of Hakurei Shrine’s deity to exterminate youkai either as standalone projectiles or as a means to shoot danmaku. They can only be used by blood members of the Hakurei clan, in which Reimu is the clan’s latest descendant.

Gohei: A purification rod created by Rinnosuke by tying folded paper to a short wooden pole, often used by Reimu when performing Shinto rituals and exorcisms. She also uses it as a melee weapon when youkai and/or fairies are in melee range either after pissing her off enough, or if they’re in her way while she’s investigating an incident.

Ofuda: Small paper talismans/charms with anti-youkai properties, often used in massive quantities as danmaku. They’re each imbued with the Hakurei Shrine’s deity’s power of exorcising youkai… even if Reimu doesn’t know (or care to know) the name of her deity.

Persuasion Needles: Large throwing needles often used for their divine connections and ease in throwing as danmaku in battles, most likely created by Kogasa as of recently.

Red Fabric Tubes: Hair accessories to be worn on her sidelocks.

Red Ribbon: A large red ribbon on the back of her head to tie back her hair. Her signature accessory.

Shrine Maiden Uniform: Reimu’s traditional uniform consisting of a red skirt, red sleeveless shirt with a white collar, a yellow (can sometimes be blue or other colors) ribbon to tie along the shirt, and white detached sleeves, also created by Rinnosuke. She wears this ensemble daily regardless of whether someone needs her help as a shrine maiden because she works hard in maintaining her shrine when she’s not hardly working.

Blue Shrine Maiden Uniform: One identical shrine maiden uniform complete with ribbons and all similar to the above two items, but with a blue color scheme instead of red. The alternate color scheme was proposed to commemorate her supposed mastery over god-summoning, but she still has much to learn from her incomplete training.

Black Clogs: Traditional black shoes to protect her feet, standard production. They’re cheap enough for Reimu to buy.

Donation Box: A large wooden donation box, used to collect donations and offerings from visitors for her services as her main source of income. She values this box greatly as a means of supporting herself to both survive financially and enjoy life’s finer points, and really hates it when others fake her out when donating to her or mess with her box in general.

Muse-Specific Headcanons:

Reimu makes just enough money from donations and providing her services as a shrine maiden to afford food and maintain her shrine, sometimes a little bit more when Yukari plays the role of her benefactor or when she holds a festival

Her definitions of exorcism and extermination change depending on the context. These definitions are sometimes violent, but they’re usually non-lethal and more of a way to tell them to stop what they’re doing because they’re causing problems, unless it pertains specifically to humans becoming youkai intentionally. That’s the exception.

Her shrine is almost always prone to collapse and spontaneous destruction (explosion, implosion, combustion, danmaku, pranks, theft, etc) for some of the most ridiculous reasons imaginable. This risk of destruction is as bad as the risk of random spontaneous destruction that constantly overlooks the Scarlet Devil Mansion, although luck is a major factor in whether this happens or not.

She admits she isn’t always perfect, but that she’s more of a specialist in her field

She has a branch shrine on her property that associates with Moriya Shrine to gather faith, although it’s not considerably big

Reimu has summoned Suwako several times while trying to hone her god-summoning abilities. Most of them were accidents, but at least one instance was intentional. The two are aware of each other’s presences, and the relationship is mildly positive due to Reimu’s maintenance of a branch shrine for Moriya Shrine. As a result, Suwako sometimes attempts to train Reimu herself to limited efficiency.

Reimu somehow formed a friendship with a tengu named Rei Futsubasa mainly because they share one common trait: chronic anger caused by work stress. They like to talk about ways to manage stress and achieve tranquility.

Character Story: Part 1

"what a beautiful voice." even amidst the seasoned artists, a star would shine. however, a star that was born among the final days of her home could never fully bloom. & thus, wherever god went . . . her song would follow, a song of broken houses, of tears & blood & of goodbyes unsaid. it almost seemed as if god didn't want to be god. it was strange. shouldn't one be thankful for their power?

when one would ask god about her songs, she would evade the question & tend to other tasks. "there is nothing to be said." she would dismiss & walk away, leaving one almost feeling empty with answers left in the dark.

god didn't talk much to us while she visited our home, however, her amount of help could probably never be grasped into words, anyways. there were so many things that we didn't know about the universe that laid outside our world but with her help, we could achieve moving forward. she always said: "you all have to matter. only then nothing would matter & proper balance is restored."

Character Story: Part 2

i wonder if she really was god. our elders insisted on it, saying that only god could have prevented the fire to come raining down upon our world. but when i looked at her; i saw nothing more than a young woman who rather kept to herself than talk to others. even when we celebrated her, she seemed uncomfortable. she was so tense & almost flinched when our elder called her god. it was almost uncomfortable to look at.

after all, gods wouldn't feel uncomfortable at being called what they are, right?

so, i visited her after that celebration. i was curious to learn more about her & what she really was. however, when i arrived — she was already packing her belongings to move on. crimson eyes spotted me amidst the shadows, silently asking: 'what are you doing here?' now it had been my time to flinch. perhaps, this was the night i would die, having incited the wrath of a god never came with fortune.

"what . . . are you really god?"

she looked surprised. i think she didn't expect me to question her. and then, for the first time since she had visited us, i saw something akin to emotion on her face. she was smiling at me. it was a tense smile, almost as if she had been begging to be released. and then she simply moved over to me, passing me to walk through the door.

"zero sixteen . . . if you could have remained as silent as THEY are, we wouldn't have gotten into this mess."

she still remembers to this day her first apprehension by the IPC. they are a sore in THEIR eyes & thus, they are one within hers. they go against everything that balance, total equilibrium strives for — creating chaos, imbalance & horrors wherever they go. zero sixteen was a name, or more so a number, given to her by the IPC because she was the sixteenth arbitrator to be formally recorded. the youngest one, potentially, though, she wouldn't know for she traveled alone.

the IPC was an enemy of balance & thus, they were an enemy of zero sixteen.

regarded as a young woman by many, the emanator was potentially thrice as old as most who regarded her when she was first apprehended. the time of her tome flowed differently than here. it tasted differently. it felt differently.

she would only remain within their captivity for a day before she broke out once more; carrying chains & throwing knives with her. the finest steel that could slice through anything with ease; it had once been a gift.

it was the only thing that she carried with her from back then. not even her name remained within her grasp.

"aquamarine skies . . . warmth . . . happy faces wherever you went. it was a tiny world but . . . it was our world."

"mommy, do you think i could ever sing with them?" the young girl with raven hair & crimson eyes looked up to her mother, smiling from ear to ear while the tunes of her favorite artist flowed through the air. she was like the perfect copy of both her mother & father; onyx colored hair with pretty white strands & the most vibrant red eyes that alpha zedara ever saw.

"maybe! your father & i will always root for you, ▋▋▋▋▋ " her mother would reply with a gentle smile, ruffling through those wild tresses of her daughter. "now come! help me carry those in, yeah?" bending down to pick up a huge basket filled with various vegetables, the elder woman laughed as she saw the young girl rushing to do the same, yet struggling quite a bit.

"not so fast! this is not a race, my dear !" & despite her claims, her mother could only laugh as she watched her one & only child race ahead to where their house was located. she had always been so full of energy.

but then she stopped.

"what is . . . this?" crimson irises focused on a . . . stone? a thing. it was as dark as the night sky. no, even darker. darker than her hair or that of her parents. it was embedded within the soil where her mother's beloved flowers grew. it almost looked alive? why was there heat emanating from it? slowly would she remove the basket from her hands, crouching down & reaching for it . . .

her mother's voice still rings clear as day within her ears:

"NO, DON'T TOUCH IT!"

zero sixteen touches her gloved hand, flinching at the mere thought of what had happened so many years ago. the shadows had touched her & forever embedded themselves into her skin, leaving it raw until she would die some day.

thus, no matter where she went — alpha zedara, her home, was always with her.

The two little rats are my affectionate names for two characters in a comic I'm trying and failing to make.

They are ALL-EFR3 and Bones respectively.

As for being friends with an obelisk, the best I gotta give you is the False Second, MAYBE SAQ and No.2. Everyone else is either too hostile or too uninterested for being friend-quality.

False Second was one of the heirs created by FoAQ, made in the image of SAQ. False Second was notably a lot more curious than the wrathful False First or the passive False Third. When False First became FiAQ, it tried to kill both of its siblings as its first act of revenge.

Well, False Second was found, dying, by a guy who'd kept dealing one too many times with wildly illicit substances and had spent a couple decades in a time prison.

Let's make note here: due to historically really hostile behavior, messing with the towers or the stuff they produce is illegal under the UFSS. Bitjack here is a citizen under UFSS and what he did was illegal. What xe did was bring False Second back to xers place, fixed up False Second to the best of xers ability, eventually trained it and used it like an ox and help xer out in transport.

False Second had to be largely kept secret because of its illegality, but it did get a little disguise that helped Bitjack to control it and make it look less like a tower. (I dont have an image sorry).

Bitjack and False Second had to evade the authorities when they started realizing something was up with Bitjack's new vehicle. This would eventually lead to a chase where FiAQ tracked down False Second and ate it.

No.2 was one of three towers that actually managed to speak (SAQ, FoAQ and a half, and No.2). No.2 was from a different universe, a much smaller one where there was a group of like, 11 main gods called Pillars and their arcana. There was no arcana for No.2's... thing and it was sometimes referred to as Pillar Corruption despite being nothing like a Pillar.

No.2 (right) discusses its worldview to TAQ (left), who's going to eat it.

No.2 was much more personal with its "arcana" than any other pillar, notably because it was much smaller and No.2 was closer to mortals than it was to the Pillars. It was notably fluent in its language, but had an inconsistent, scratchy voice.

Finally, there's not much on SAQ, it rarely if ever speaks and it mostly deals with mortals in the contractual "Give me food and I'll give you whatever weird shit I found today," but it briefly found and toyed with a recently-corrupted Illizyka, who had recently found out the world was so much bigger than she expected.

(This was supposed to be comedic. Their interaction is much more "Illi running away terrified for its life and SAQ herding/toying with it to its home universe).

Skimming over the other obelisks, TAQ helped another governmental body take down Titatiaraum and ate No.2, FoAQ and a half mostly hid in a cavern and would yell at people to GET OUT, FiAQ was a horrible menace and got melded into a symbol of chaos along with 4 other poor unfortunate suckers, and No.1 tried to attack the Pillars, only to have its organs pulled out and strung up as an example.

King seems the type that thinks babies are cute(as a King of the fairies,he probably had to bless fairies babies or something)but he is too nervous to hold one for too long. King also doesn't know what to do if a baby cry,probably hand it over to the parents or for one of the sins asking for help. He would be too careful,at everything,but also very docile.

He would hold the baby very thighyl,because he's afraid to let him/her fall off his harms. King would not let the baby touch on things that he might think it's dangerous,like a bottle of beer,some furniture with sharp corner,he would probably build or improvise a playpen with some toys he would pick from the baby bag or himself sewed.

King:I'm afraid,he/she is so tiny,and cute and fragile,I don't wanna to risk!

Feeding time,he would play little airplane(or little dragon,because it's the middle age),and hold a napkin close to the baby's mouth. King hopes that the baby don't make a big mess,as he also hold the plate far from the baby chair,so the little one don't reach it.

King would change a diaper using his chastiefol pillow like a change table(with a blanket to lay the baby down)He's is also very carefully so the baby don't touch the dirty diaper. He feel a little disgusted,but less than Meliodas and Ban. While cleaning the baby,he talks to him/her like they are listening,things like "am I doing this right?","i think we need more wipes",i think I dropped to much powder",things like that. He also make sure to clean the baby's feet and apply skin moisturizer if necessary.

He uses his chastiefol for many things,so for playtime isn't different,he turn it until a bear and carry him/her on it. He would try peek-a-boo with the baby(then he transforms on his human form on the peek-a-boo,and scares the baby unintentionally). Without needing the chastiefol,he would hug the baby the baby tight and fly above the grass,and pretend to be a dragon,while Diane run with them pretending to be a dragon too. King makes some toys and also clothes to him/her. If the baby was a boy,he would make a little sailor costume,if was a girl,he would make a adorable dress.

Sleepytime,King also will be tired,put he try to put the baby to sleep. He would feed her a bottle and talk with her some silly things,like his love for Diane or something about how is the Fairy Kingdom. So he lay down with the baby on his lap in the chastiefol and sing a lullaby or tell him/her some bedtime stories from his folklore. He probably fall sleep with the baby. Diane and Elizabeth think that it's so cute,and Meliodas is just proudly about how well done King made it into babysitting.

Bonus:

King was just trying to bond with the baby,who was just staring at him,and he has no idea what to talk about. Then Diane arrives after hiking with Merlin,and takes a look on king and the baby.

Diane:Hi King! Hi (baby name)! What are you guys doing?

King:H-hi Diane! I'm trying to communicate with him/her,but I don't know what to talk about.

Meliodas:Talking is not the only way to bonding with a baby,King.

Both the sins are thinking about what to do while the sin of wrath was checking some booze from the balcony. Then a little grasshopper jumped into the window,what made Diane scream.

King:Oh no,Diane!!!!!

Meliodas:Hum....hey little one,have you ever seen a grasshopper?

King:It's not time from that,Captain!

Diane:I think I'm better....don't worry,guys.

Meliodas:Here King,hold it close to her!

King:Are you sure?

Meliodas:This makes her have contact with the nature.

Meliodas handed over the grasshopper onto king who put it in the baby's hand,holding her tight but gentle

King:Look (baby name),a grasshopper. Isn't pretty?

Baby:Aaaaaa....

Diane:Aww,i think she likes it!

Meliodas was proudly from his idea,while the baby was staring the insect in her hand.But,then,he/she tried to put it on her mouth. The three sins screamed a big "NOO!",what called attention to the other sins + Elizabeth and Hawk,who are doing other things. Luckily,King was fast enough to take the grasshopper from the baby's hand.

Elizabeth:Oh dear,what happened!?

Meliodas:The baby tried to eat a grasshopper.

Elizabeth:Oh,i see.

Happily,the baby was just fine,but wondering where her little "snack" went.Everyone there was relieved,but they decided to not tell him/her parents about that.

Oh my goodness,I love King,he's so adorable,anyways,on a scale of 1 to 10,how much would King babysat well?

I saw a TikTok about Steve getting Vecna’d and his song being Everybody Wants to Rule the World by Tears For Fears > I started thinking about Vecna songs > what the fuck would Robin’s be? > oh Robin would be such a good candidate to be Vecna’d actually > looking for Robin gets Vecna’d fics and not finding many > “fine I’ll do it myself” > spontaneously writing my first fanfic fucking ever and proceeding to dive face first into the worst case of brainrot I’ve ever had to date. Nancy had revenge tattooed on her heart, black ink that sank deep into the muscle, turning it hard and blackened and cold. Her wrath was all encompassing. 4: What’s your favorite line of dialogue?

6: What makes this fic special or different from all your other fics?

Well for one, this is legitimately the first fic I’ve ever written. I spontaneously hopped on the fic writing train late late late July this year with this fic, and it’s still ongoing. I think it’s messy and the pacing is weird and it’s unbeta’d but it’s kind of charming like that I guess, and I like to think you can kind of see how I fell into the characters and developed my writing style as the story goes on? Idk, it has the same energy as ugly-cute animals, like pugs.

13: What music did you listen to, if any, to get in the mood for writing this story? Or if you didn’t listen to anything, what do you think readers should listen to to accompany us while reading?

I have an unofficial fic playlist that I used just for writing vibes, as well as the mixtape Nancy made for Robin in one of the later chapters! Basically a lot of 80’s music and Maya Hawke with a couple other songs sprinkled in because they were favorites at the time or just the vibes were fitting. Specific shoutout to “Smalltown Boy” by Bronski Beat as Robin’s Vecna song, and “Seventeen” by Janis Ian being runner up. I did a bit of research in queer music artists of the 80’s because it was important to me that, whether or not she knew it, Robin’s Vecna song was by a queer person/band! Also special shoutouts to this playlist and this playlist, which are just favorite songs and work really well for me to write to. (I have the best music taste, actually, btw, and I don’t have an ego about it—)

Heck of a job on his hands

A new era starts at Deepdale on Saturday afternoon as Paul Heckingbottom takes charge of his first game as North End manager with a tough looking tie against Luton. Heck has only been here since Tuesday so we must give our new man plenty of tme to sort out the wheat from the chaff and make the side look something like his own. There may well be one or two ins and outs next week as North End charge towards the transfer deadline joint bottom of the Championship with those two defeats against Sheffield United and Swansea, the latter seeing the hasty departure of Mike Marsh as interim manager. There is no doubt that Paul has got a hell of a job on his hands turning round a toxic Deepdale and a playing squad who have known nothing but defeat since early April under the guidance of the previous manager.

Last Saturday was just about as bad as it has been for the last six months with a shocker of a defeat 0-3 at Swansea with North End looking relegation candidates from the first kick to the last. We started ok, we always do, however the home side got on top and took the lead via a needless penalty conceded by Lindsay. After the break we once again started brightly and it was fairly even up to the hour mark when Swansea made it two with a deflected shot and from that moment on North End were down and out and although the third goal came near the end it had looked on the cards for a while with North End looking all at Sea. The players felt the wrath of the fans at the end and it is a very long time since I have seen the loyal away following as angry as that at the end of the game.

So the new dawn breaks with a visit from the Hatters who were relegated from the Premiership in May after putting up a fairly decent show in their time in the top flight. Having said all that the vistors come to Deepdale with just one point on the board from their first two games having been thumped 1-4 at home by Burnley in their opening fixture before playing out a 0-0 draw at Fratton Park last week against Portsmouth. However they should not be underestimated and North End will do well to take something from the game with all the upheaval at Deepdale over the last few weeks. All eyes will be on the new manager and what players and formation he selects but I think, whatever happens, that we should give him and the boys 100% backing as the blackboard was wiped clean on Tuesday morning.

Following on from the game against Luton we visit the Exercise Stadium on Tuesday evening and our first ever meeting against Harrogate Town in the second round of the Carabao Cup. It is a game that North End should win but it will also be a chance for Heck to have a look at some of the players not involved against Luton as he starts to paint the picture of what his squad looks like and who he wants to stay and who he wants to go. Harrogate will no doubt welocme North End to West Yorkshire but it will be a tough encounter agaisnt the Sulphurites and North End will need to treat them with the respect they deserve if they are to move into the last 32 of the competition.

And finally this week:- I make no apology for re-iterating the need to give the manager the time he deserves to sort this mess out left by Lowe and his methods, or lack of them. If North End can sort themselves out and be in mid-table by Christmas then that would be progress in my book. The January transfer window may well be busier than usual for North End with thirteen players out of contract next Summer and plenty of ins and outs on the horizon. It is a long time since I looked forward to a game as much as the Luton one but after all the garbage we have watch in 2024 I feel re-invigorated and ready to go again. Good luck to Paul Heckingbottom and Stuart McCall and lets hope yours are the names that people talk about in Preston in 50 years time.

Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy (2017) Review [Part One]

The past days I've been slowly going through the world of Crash Bandicoot as I reviewed Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2, Crash Bandicoot 3, and Crash Team Racing. All of which was based on their original Playstation releases. I highly recommend reading those reviews first for context. However, only focusing on the Playstation versions of these games isn't really being all that helpful due to a pair of releases that came out comparatively recently. But first, let's take a step back and see how we even got here.

Crash Bandicoot was a game published by Sony Computer Entertainment, and the titular character later became a mascot of sorts for the console it was on: the Playstation. The original Crash games were developed by a studio called Naughty Dog, however they eventually quit making Crash games. Despite that, the series kept going. On all platforms too.. what? Why are Crash Bandicoot games coming out on Nintendo consoles, Xbox consoles, and even PC? What’s happening? Did Sony do this? Well, no. You see, despite Naughty Dog creating the games and the characters and Sony publishing them, Universal Interactive (yes that Universal) owned the series. Ok, so a long time ago Naughty Dog made a weird fighting game called Way of the Warrior for the 3DO. Despite it's obscurity, this game is shockingly important because after finishing it, Naughty Dog displayed it at the Consumer Electronics Show in search of a publisher. After a bidding war, Universal Interactive won the rights to it. Universal liked it so much that they contracted Naughty Dog to make three more games for them. Those three games ended up being, of course, the Crash Bandicoot trilogy. Before that though, Naughty Dog needed to pick a console to develop the next game on. They thought the Playstation looked “sexy” so they started development for that. After a demonstration from Naughty Dog, Sony agreed to publish and partially fund the game. But Naughty Dog made 4 Crash games right? If they already made an extra one, they could just make more, right? Well in theory, but Naughty Dog thought that Universal was too difficult to communicate with. They had a great relationship with Sony Computer Entertainment though. They were so close in fact that only two years after CTR, Sony outright purchased Naughty Dog, firmly establishing their place as part of the Playstation family. 

After Naughty Dog quit, Sony published one more Crash Bandicoot game: Crash Bash. I haven’t really played Crash Bash personally, but from what I’ve heard it’s just a sub-par party game. After that, Universal decided to stop letting Sony publish Crash in favor of publishing the series on all platforms, with the first one being Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex. People didn’t like that game, and I didn’t either. I’m not going to talk too much about this game mostly because it's already been mocked to death and also because it’d be kinda redundant. That’s because Wrath of Cortex is literally just a one to one ripoff of Crash Bandicoot 3, even down to the hub world. Except it’s like they saw my review of Crash 3 and said “Hey, what if we took every problem Crash 3 had and made them even worse?”. The platforming is worse because the camera is awful and they messed up the slide somehow. You have to like release the slide button and THEN jump, which is just awkward. Other than that the platforming is playable, but you rarely get to do it. Even more of the game is random bullshit now. Well over half of your playtime will be spent in those vehicle segments. While I didn’t care for the vehicles in Crash 3 because they distracted from the platforming, they were mostly just tolerable filler. In Wrath of Cortex, they all suck soo much ass. They all fucking suck and they're damn near unplayable. I kinda like the ball rolling, but that’s it. They also brought back Crash 2’s awful jetpack. They not only brought back Crash 3’s abysmal underwater stages, but 1. There’s even more of them. and 2. They’re even worse! You get this submarine which is so slow you can’t dodge the obstacles! Anyway, enough ranting. Wrath of Cortex sucks, but that’s no hot take. Everyone knows that, and it’s not just this game. Most Crash games after Naughty Dog left were less than stellar. Even the best one, Twinsanity, was so incredibly rushed that the final result was unpolished and had a lot of cut content. Needless to say, Crash fans weren’t happy, and after a disastrous reboot, they just wanted a simple return to the classics. 

Meanwhile, Universal was eventually merged with Vivendi, who owned a bunch of studios including Blizzard Entertainment. The combined new studio became known as "Vivendi Games". Fast forward to the late 2000s, Activision was foaming at the mouth over the idea of microtransactions and other recurring fees to the gaming consumer, and therefore were dying to get their hands on World of Warcraft, a Blizzard game. Vivendi Games was struggling at that time, so the two companies merged, forming into the public menace we now know as Activision Blizzard. But what about our favorite orange marsupial? Well he had games throughout the 2000s, but after the merger he slowly grew silent. In 2011, Activision Blizzard released a game called Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure. Poor Spyro, but that’s a story for another day isn’t it? Skylanders was made by Toys for Bob alongside other companies, most notably Vicarious Visions. In 2016, the final Skylanders game was released, and it had the long awaited yet melancholic return of Crash Bandicoot. His portion of the game was developed by Vicarious Visions. Announced alongside his inclusion however was a full from the ground up remake of the entire classic Crash trilogy. Months later we got a trailer and a name: Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy.

Most people these days play this games in the N. Sane Trilogy, rather than their original Playstation releases so I feel I have to cover it. I'm not going to go super in depth with each game, because I already have done that with my reviews of the originals. Instead, I'm just going to focus on what makes the N. Sane Trilogy different.

Let’s start with the obvious: the graphics. Obviously they’re higher fidelity and they can certainly look quite nice at times, however they're far from perfect. Firstly, I simply don’t think that this realistic artstyle fits Crash Bandicoot. These characters were designed with a low poly, low resolution PS1 game with a far off camera in mind. Crash has big eyes, big eyebrows, and a big mouth so that he can be expressive in a way that still reads when looking at the game from a crappy CRT television. When you put this character in HD with realistic graphics where you can make out every hair on his little bandicock he just looks awful. He looks far better when he's very stylized, ala Crash 4. Even the rest of the graphics just look wrong to me. Something about how some of these levels look just feels off. It doesn't help that the game is also locked to 30fps on every console. For a modern day release, that's not acceptable. Especially considering that neither N. Sane Trilogy nor Nitro Fueled (which trust me I'll get back to) got PS5/Series X upgrades. Considering that even a modest computer like mine can hit 60fps on the PC port of N. Sane, there's absolutely no reason why next gen consoles couldn't also hit that same benchmark. Overall the N. Sane Trilogy only came out like 6 years ago and it already looks really dated to me. I honestly prefer the more timeless look of the originals. Well graphics aside, let’s go through each game one by one:

Chapter 4: escape…almost (the borrower)

As Oliver's eyes adjusted to the light, he realized he was in a small glass jar with a lid. He tried to move, but found that he was stuck in the jar with no way out. Fear gripped him as he realized he was trapped, and he started to hyperventilate.

Suddenly, he heard a voice that sounded familiar. It was his host, speaking softly to him. Oliver recognized the voice and tried to calm down. He closed his eyes and focused on his breathing, trying to slow it down.

As he calmed down, he began to listen to what the human was saying. "I'm sorry I scared you, little guy," the host said. "I didn't mean to frighten you."

Oliver opened his eyes and looked up at the human. He saw that the teen had a gentle smile on his face and was looking at him with a mix of curiosity and concern.

"are you going to hurt me?" Oliver asked hesitantly.

"No, I promise I won't hurt you," the host replied. "I just want to understand what you are and how you got here."

Oliver felt a glimmer of hope. Maybe he could explain his situation to the human and find a way out of this mess. He took a deep breath and tried to collect his thoughts. 'can I trust a human? he seems nice enough, but he also put  me in a jar' he thought for a few minuets, until the human spoke again.

"so, what's your name?" he asked casually.

"O-Oliver" he said shakily

"That's a cool name, mine is Isaac" the teen said with a smile. 

"S-so um...do you think you could let me out now" Oliver asked, internally praying the giant would say yes.

"Will you promise to stay and tell if I do?" Issac said in an ever so slightly condescending tone. 

     Oliver considered his options. He could either say no and risk the wrath of the giant, or he could say yes and have a chance for escape. 

"I-I suppose..." he said drifting off. As soon as he had said the words, he immediately regretted it, the giant abruptly reached into the jar trying to fish him out. As soon as he had seen the hand coming, Oliver pushed himself as far away as he could from it. Unfortunately though, Isaac was too quick, and caught Oliver by the shirt. 

The borrower was then lifted through the air. The whole room spun around him as he was held by his shirt and placed onto the humans desk. As soon as his feet hit the wood, Oliver bolted for the nearest hiding place, which so happened to be the nearby pencil case. Oliver sat behind the large bag, shaking like a leaf, and holding his legs close to him. 

"Wha-Oliver, why did you run?" Issac said, in a soft yet booming voice. His size caused a large gust of hot air to blow onto Oliver, causing him to shiver more violently. "Please come out, I didn't mean to startle you."

Though the tiny boy did not know it, Issac could see Oliver perfectly well without him coming out, but he would still give Oliver the choice. The human continued to plead to Oliver, but the borrower was in the midst of one of his 'attacks'. 

Oliver was scared, more then he had ever been in his entire life. He had been caught, and when the human had been kind, he had run and very likely angered the human. Now he was hiding in a rather obvious place, but Oliver didn't want to move. Issac continued to talk but Oliver couldn't hear over the sounds of his pulse slamming against his eardrums. 

"*sigh* fine, if you don't want to come out, I wont force you." The human said in a sad and quite frankly defeated tone. These words, Oliver did manage to hear, and they surprised him greatly. 'What is this guy trying to pull? Couldn't he just kill me if he wanted to? Why make me wait'  Oliver thought to himself but was interrupted by the sound of the human leaving the room.
