Getting to know your character better

Here's some (hopefully) less basic things to think about when deepening your character.

- What would they be embarrassed to admit about themself? What would they deny about themself?

- Opposite to the above: What would they proudly admit, and what would they like to claim about themself?

- If caught in an inconsistency or a hypocrisy, how do they react? How would they go about fixing it, or alternatively, how would they go about denying and deconstructing it?

- How much, and how deeply do they think about other characters' opinions that aren't about them specifically? For example if they knew one of their friends liked or disliked another person, how much thought do they give it?

- Are they able to perform something 'Quick'? Do they prefer to sacrifice time over quality, or vice versa? How do they dispense effort per task?

- How patient are they with themself vs. Others? Why, and how so?

- How seriously do they carry other people's worries? How much does this impact their actions?

- What would make them focus on themself more?

- What would they Not want to change about themself? What parts of their self do they cling to, desperately? Even when those things would be already gone?

- Do they think of something as "Their thing", even though other people would disagree? Why so? Are they just not as open or upfront about it as they think? Or do they have gaps in self perception?

- Opposite of the above: Are there some things that others would consider "Their thing" in relation to your character, but they disagree? Why?

- How do they tread around controversial opinions? Is it case by case, or depending on company? In what way? Are they assured in their worldview or unsure? Are they open minded?

- How easily do they relate with other characters?

I am the best duck in the world and my name is Donald Duck. I'm all trades, and the fact that I wear a navy suit is thanks to my girlfriend, Daisy, who keeps asking me to wear it. I also have a big family and I am raising three children, my nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie, I have my best friends Gyro, Jose and Panchito, my worst neighbor Jones, my sister Della, my horrible uncle who doesn't pay me Uncle Scrooge, my cousins, my girlfriends like Daisy and Reginella and not to mention. Yes, I also have Goofy, Horace, Mickey and Oswald as my friends. Yes, I'm speaking for all versions of myself, even though I'm not quite myself.

Juno often uses humor to cope, break tension or awkwardness and try to bond or start conversations. they find communication difficult until they're more comfortable around the person or people and thus often remain quiet if not resorting to a joke.

During missions, Juno has been reported as reckless, getting themselves hurt in the process of success and protecting others. Due to stubborn determination this is a habit they refuse to break.

Junos hidden temper is a rare site to see and more often than not comes out as a result of their protective nature. However they have been known to slip a threat or two when someone manages to piss them off.

It's unclear at what point they gained their scars, he possibly gained them as Aki thus they remained when brought back as Juno, or they just didn't heal properly and formed the scars during their early days as a guardian.

Juno tends to spend any free time in the tower, hiding away with a sketchbook or telling their ghost jokes.

Character Biography

Name: Professor Edward Mulligan Hyde Aliases: Jack the Ripper, James Moriarty, The Patriarch Born: July 7th, 1821 technically

Edward Hyde was not intended to exist.

That has never stopped him, mind you. What a man was SUPPOSED to do was not the sole defining factor in any choice that this man has ever made.

Some of it is the story you know- after all, the novel was an ever-so-popular penny dreadful. Picture Perfect Doctor Henry Jekyll, alchemist and physician attempted to formulate a means to chemically abate his hungers and deepest desires, those parts of himself too shameful to indulge in the eyes of a Victorian gentleman.

But HJ-7 was no mere change in appearance. No, after decades of Jekyll pushing down and suppressing that which he despised most of himself, he had created something dark. Some venomous creature that, with the introduction of the formula, could take form and run free in the world of Man.

It was entirely on accident. Hyde was never supposed to happen. the formula had supposed to been a suppressor of intrusive thoughts and urges. It was supposed to be a medicine. A means of shutting down the parts of onesself that the subject felt unbecoming. Instead, it set those parts of you free, as their own person.

For a time, Jekyll and Hyde had an ammenable agreement. Hyde would sate all those unseemly needs away from Jekyll's eyes, and even help Jekyll's success grow in his antics. Continuing their work while Jekyll would rest. In exchange, the good Doctor would fund his escapades, and protect Hyde from consequences.

But sometime in 1825, something... changed. Jekyll disappeared, and Hyde was in complete control. Not just of the body, but all Jekyll's assets.

What was more, the man had discovered an alchemical formula that, when taken intravenously on an annual basis, could slow the aging process to a crawl.

Wealthy, free, and nearly immortal, the man now roams the world seeking mischief, causing problems, and chasing power.

An inventor with a cane he made himself, Viktor's condition seems to worsen with his age and he experiences chronic pain among other symptoms.

He's incredibly determined to help better the lives of others, specifically with hextech, and thus tests it out on himself. Even with what he deems successful testing on his own body not curing or overall adding his condition aside from regaining an amount of mobility, he's very hasty to get hextech public and available to the people, completely throwing himself entirely into his work.

It's not often the workaholic finds himself taking a break.
