Today I took off from work and came to Des Moines with David who has a meeting. We ate lunch at a place recommended by our next door neighbor, called Eggs and Jam. It serves brunch. It was great although it’s so hard when you’re on a diet. I had the diddy, which it’s vegan chorizo, avocado, peppers and onions in a biscuit. And some mixed fruit. It tasted amazing and the service and ambiance was great. It’s a winner and I’m sure we’ll be back in the future.

Una de cal y otra de arena. Igual bastante bien. Lo malo de la semana fueron los dias lindos, porque es demasiado sospechoso un día lindo en julio y agosto. (Julio y Agosto es todo un concepto, como la banda indie a la que solía dar nombre, es una transición, el paso del invierno a una primavera que se asoma de a poco, el paso de las vacaciones de muches a la vuelta a la actividad, volver a verse, etc.) Pero tanto como 35 grados un 31 de julio digamos que no da. Aún así y más allá de la constante sensación apocalíptica quizás solo aliviada ayer que hicieron 20 grados de máxima, fue una buena semana.

Empezó con una asamblea en la que se cruzaban estas preocupaciones aunque no era precisamente el tema de reunión. Calentamiento global, aliens, conciencia humana, conceptos físicos que no comprendo, apocalipsis capitalista, dictadura del proletariado. Después una buena cena con amiguis que por fin se concreta despues de como un mes. No es fácil juntarse en estos tiempos y estas edades, lo hablo con la psicóloga y solo puedo esperar que sea temporal y inventar estrategias que espero funcionen para ver más a la gente. En todo caso la cena sabe a nostalgia y es perfecta para unx cancerianx estereotipadx como unx. Y la pasamos lindo, hizo bien.

Continuó con pintura (en todo esto estoy no mencionando las mañanas de trabajo en la pagina web del mal). Primera clase después de las "vacaciones" de julio, también sabe a reencuentro. Creo que esta siendo una temporada de reencuentros. No fue E. así que tengo chan güi de acomodar mi rosa a rojo antes de verla. No así antes del cumpleaños de G. hoy, pero está bien, me estoy acostumbrando. La pase bien, agarré el pincel y pinte sin presiones ni exigencias muy grandes ni pinceles muy chicos. Después fuimos a tomar una birra -figurativamente porque como siempre lxs demás toman no yo- aunque comí papitas Quentos. Estuvo muy bien, me hace feliz socializar y vivir la improvisación. Tuve miedo de tomar frio pero no de estar sola.

El jueves existí adentro todo lo que pude hasta que decidí salir a ir comprando la tintura roja, un cinto, agujas y el portalamparas. A la tarde me contestó C. para que me sume a su juntada de amiguis a tomar una birra.

Estuvo bien, con L que la conozco compartí un wrap de espinaca. Les demás eran piolas. Una chica muy graciosa con un humor rapido y un poco acido. Otro de ellos, perteneciente a una trieja gay, pareció ser cauteloso con mi genero, me dijo que me parecía a unx chicx aleman que había conocido. Me cayó bien y me hizo bien esa cautela, esa duda, esa complicidad pese a que yo en la costumbre y quizás un poco el miedo a la inconveniencia me nombrara femenina. Creo que dentro de él entendió por donde iba la cosa. Ojala vaya a la feria y me compre el sticker ce Gael y el otro de planta para su novio fan de las plantas. Y puede ver el cartel de los pronombres y preguntar y yo decirle si, uso todos, y mirarnos en esa comprensión que tenemos

Después fue un poco más complejo, C. y L. andaban en una y F. y yo nos tocó el papel de novios arrastrados a lugares que hacen el aguante. Solo que el era el que es novio de enserio, pero esa energía. Me cayó muy bien, hablamos mientras C. y L. andaban en una. Es un Allan. Si, así es la cosa, ahora todo se puede explicar con Barbie. Por cierto, caimos a una reunión ajena accidentalmente de gente que habla idiomas. Un rubio medio pesado se acercó a hablarnos y me siento extrañamente orgullosx de haber conseguido que se vaya. El estar con C. me hizo pensarlo en retrospectiva, hace 7, 8 años me hubiese costado mucho más. Quizas puedo verme masculinx y rudx a veces, aún suficientemente perceptible para los nuestros, como N, el de la trieja, se diera cuenta de que pinto y de que soy una persona de sol y cafecitos. Me agradan esas ambigüedades.

Después de un rato de hacer el aguante C. finalmente se vino a dormir a casa, fue lindo hacia mil años que no dormíamos juntxs como en los primeros años de la facu, hablando de nuestras cosas y chismes hasta quedarnos dormidxs. Me pone triste que se vuelva a Ushuaia, es demasiado lejos. Pero me hizo bien al alma verla. Ojalá nos veamos más seguido.

Hoy me espera una visita a la ex imprenta clandestina del PRT y después el cumpleaños de G. Ampliaremos. O no. Vamos a ver como sigue este registro. Lo único que más me vale sacar fotos de más cosas aunque sea cuatro pixeles, porque no estaría teniendo material para ilustrar todo esto. Tengo más capturas de pantalla y fotos de cosas que no forman parte del relato. Que criterio es ese? Bueno. Igual va, la superluna, la comida, las hojas nuevas, la ropa intervenida en proceso, etc. Mañana quiero ir a ver Laberinto al cineclub.

The fitting is done largely in silence and quickly. Ichirou has no plans for them to stay here for a custom suit to be made but it will allow for other suits to be made after they leave.

For now something off the rack and swiftly tailored will do. It's only a casual lunch between brothers after all. The suit does not need to be custom made since he came without prior warning, he can be lenient.
