Personally, i think it would be more accurate to say that Hotel Transylvania is like seeing Lamborghini re-design the Model T, with modern parts and features. Visual comedy & musicality are where animation has its roots. (Think of Silly Symphonies, Looney Tunes, etc.) The franchise uses modern technology to recreate/build upon traditional techniques and aesthetics.

One of the things that sucks about being an animation nerd is having to live with the fact that, from a technical standpoint, the Hotel Transylvania movies are absolutely ground-breakingly staggeringly incredible.

Another absolute amazing Danny design by @zillychu ! I was immediately obessed with it and I couldn't help myself to try to model it in 3d!

My pc power supply died in the middle of modeling , but I managed to get a spare part quickly and no data was lost so everything is fine again.
