The Wild Unknown Tarot…. Tonight I decided I would just draw 3 cards… My first card… 8 of wands…. Seriously… I’m ready!! We are trying to buy a house! I really love the 3 card read as a way of taking a look at the subconscious activity in my daily life. Left to right: Past: Eight of Sword reminding me that I am not bound to the past “me”, that the tools of change are there for me if I just use them. Present: High Priestess shows me I learning. This card come up for me often, reminding me that the learning never ends. Future: King of Swords is coming and for me this represents using the lessons of the swords to govern my choices today, and in the coming week. Swords are the truth cards of the deck because they speak to the truths that we don’t always want to recognize, isn’t that why people say the truth hurts? Do you want a 3 card draw? So I decided that as I have two weeks left for Halloween, I'm gonna get into the spirit 👻 so I did a Halloween oracle 3 card draw- this was one of the most powerful oracle card readings I've done for myself. This is the first time I've actually sat down and done a reading even though I've had these cards a while. Week ahead

First Third - Seven of Swords

The first third of my week is marked by some sort of deception. It could range from the virtually benign little white lie to a full-blown fib. I may be the teller of the lie, using deceit to get my way. Or, I may be the one being lied-to. 

Second Third - Knight of Wands

The Second Third of the week is marked by a very fast-paced, firey energy that will surely keep me on my toes. Personally, the Knight of Wands represents my partner, and this is the week of our two year anniversary. Perhaps some of his Knight-of-Wandsy characteristics are coming out and presenting the week with it’s challenges and themes. 

Final Third - Judgement

The last third of the week will be marked by some sort of test or calling. I will be asked to do something outside of my comfort zone– but I will succeed at whatever it is by being honest, having courage and having faith. There is major change suggested in the realm of fire– but it will be a change that arises out of logical reasoning rather than intuition.

Overall Theme - Queen of Cups

As a theme of a week, I’d say the Queen of Cups encompasses everything emotional. Each time I see her face, I am reminded to keep my emotions in check, stay balanced, and maintain peace of mind. There are definitely weeks where maintaining peace of mind is my absolute top and only priority. This is turning out to be one of them
