Thinking about how Dan Heng is kinda like a working dog; if he doesn’t have a task he’ll get restless and freak out. Welt and Himeko knew this and gave him multiple tasks (being the Express’ guard and putting him in charge of the data bank) so he didn’t go bonkers. He’s so protective of the crew (especially of March 7th and the Trailblazer) and always stays in front of them in situations where he thinks it could go south. Even though the crew can handle most stuff on their own when it comes to combat, his guard dog tendencies are always there. I love him so much.

I'm certain I've seen this said somewhere else already and I cannot for the life of me track it down but Dream's favourite colour being purple and Nightmare's being yellow
Everybody assumes Dream's is yellow because, well, he's dressed in it head to toe and his magic is yellow and his eyelights are yellow. It's just a bright happy colour, it must be his favourite! Only Blue and Ink know it's not, Ink because he takes note of how Dream favours purple any time he gets to pick something or joins in on an art project and Blue because he just asked.
Everybody assumes Nightmare doesn't have a favourite colour, that if you asked he'd say he was above that sort of thing or tell you something edgy like black because it's the colour of his soul. And it's kind of true, if you asked he would never admit to liking a colour, especially not one so cheery and bright. But the boys have definitely noted how he has paintings of sunrises in his offices and sunflowers planted outside.

Emergence - Behind each arena
Thought this mission was chaotic af. Didn't expect zombies to be in the campaign since they literally have a separate mode for that but anyways let's take a lil dive into EMERGENCE.
⚠️WARNING: Spoilers for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6
-Advanced Combat Research-
For this section, we obtain a grappling hook and need to defeat the director of ACR with the help of some sentries.
Tumblr media
I wasn't actually sure about this one since the zombies were just well....zombies that looked like guards. However, that said, the big guy we had to defeat was just a Cerberus/three-headed-dog-like figure.
-Administration-
For this keycard, we have to find the reports and slot them into the holders and this red mannequin comes to life (along with the others...)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Red is an interesting choice. It stands out from the rest and if we think back to Cold War, you'd remember red being used A LOT throughout the campaign.
Anyways, once it's free, the red mannequin goes on the run (a bit like Adler) and we have to chase it, the voice in Case's head saying, "I knew we couldn't trust him," and if we fire at it, the voice mentions, "Bullets are nothing to him," possibly referring to Adler being hardened by his years of service.
He cracks when we reel him in and get too close and then he pushes us away. The cracks remind me of Adler's scars - mental and physical. In fact, the mannequins actually take on the form of Adler mostly as well in this room. A coincidence? I think not.
After the initial phase, the red mannequin transforms into the monster as seen in the third image and again, we get another piece of dialogue - "See? He's a monster, just like the rest of them."
The thing that comes to mind here is Adler's nickname - America's monster.
-Joint Projects-
To acquire this keycard, we play some prop hunt basically! Objects around the room will rattle, signifying the monster's whereabouts and we have to sneak up on it and fire or it will disappear again - kind of alluding to the idea of secrecy, a core theme of Black Ops.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
What's interesting to me is the fact that the zombie engages in a prop hunt like game with Case...like being on the move constantly and watching your back when others get too close to the truth perhaps.
We know that Sevati Dumas is the queen of disguise, excelling at being hidden in plain sight so this definitely fits her and that's why we see her in this arena.
-Cognitive Research-
During this phase, we have to drain some water to get the keycard and kill the big guy who's residing in the bathysphere.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The voice in Case's head seems to focus on rage here. I think for this part, there was a mix of Marshall, Sev and Adler zombies.
On escape, we see a Woods horde charging towards us. If we consider the theme of rage, we can certainly see where Woods' anger lies - Hudson and Mason's death especially to Woods' being kneecapped by Menendez and how that's mentally affected him, leading him to suffer. Hence, this is a part of the "cognitive research" bit.
-Biotechnology-
For this phase, we have to defeat a friggin' levitating zombie.
Tumblr media
I thought this one was very reminiscent of Case...almost like it's his true form. He's essentially fighting himself for this one, just like looking in a mirror, right?
Troy and Sev zombies can be seen, most likely because this is where the three of them all are in reality.
---------------------
If you made it this far, thank you so much for reading! I'd love to hear your thoughts on this mission <3

You know why I love the idea of jegulus? It’s cause they choose each other. They don’t make sense and by all means they should never have crossed paths or even had a civil conversation but somehow they do (also shh, we’re ignoring canon) And they keep choosing each other despite all odds. They have the type of love where they fight for it - they never give up on each other. It’s the type of love that creeps up on them and both of them have an oh moment where they realise that this - this is love, always making a choice to love each other no matter what happens

chapt 8; whiskey neat, coffee black 🚒🥃
“Do you, uh…” Gale turned on his heel, facing Bucky again, his expression heavy-lidded in the half-light of the streetlights from outside spilling in through the window, and caught somewhere between caution and come hither. God, he was so beautiful it was unworldly. “Do you want something to drink, or…”. Bucky smirked, sensing his nerves. “Some guys just don’t know how to leave work at work, huh?” He shook his head, and Gale offered him a reluctant smile in return for the joke, but didn’t make any move further. Suddenly the air felt a little more breathable. But only a little. “I think you’ve poured me enough drinks at this point,” Bucky continued, making a choice. “Come here.”

I agree with the anon asking about T-dick. We need more content.
Imagine bumping into a girl one day who looks like she's trying to look like a guy but doing a poor job of it. She's got half a used tube of low dose T-cream, wears a jock and a packer and binds. It's the not quite short enough hair and voice that tips you off.
A perfect candidate to be forcemasced perhaps?
Trigger Warnings: Dubious consent.
I'd say shes already on her way to being easily manipulated, pretty malleable even. He just needs that extra push to know what's best for him.
Once you get to know her, she piles on excuses about her appearance. Her shaggy hair covers half her face, like she is insecure about her soft features. She swears she binds for some sort of personal preference, and takes T to help her gain an advantage in track. There's no point in justifying the silicone dick between her legs; but she still finds a way to try and convince you. It puts her in the right mindset - that's all.
You take stronger medication than her, enanthate injections, and you eventually coax out of her that she's curious about it. Says she's always been curious about upping her dose, but scared about the effects. You give her the illusion of consent by letting her know, casually, of some of the major changes she could see. Thicker and longer body hair. A much deeper voice. Coarser skin and less curves. You joke with her that an increased sex drive is another common effect, and his eyes subtly widen at that.
Soon enough, months of her straddling you as you push your needle into her skin go by. You're already starting to see major changes, and soon enough a man stands before you. His hair is still long, shoulder length by the time facial hair starts to show, but - seemingly on her own accord - he buzzes it off. She still seems uncomfortable with such sudden changes, as anyone would be, but it's your job to assure him that it's all fine. She'll still be straight if she presents this way, and straight guys love masculine girls (a sweet lie, of course, but how else will you pursuade him?).
It's fun to watch him flush as you call him a good man (a good boy, occasionally) for taking his shots so well. You get to introduce him as your mate, your boy to others, using he/him pronouns, and watch with pride as his protests of "I'm actually a girl" falter with every moment.
Social transition is the hardest. But he'll get there soon enough. He's your boy toy now.
