Which of these vehicles would Tommy drive?
See Car details below:
Chevy Camaro
GMC Hummer EV SUV
Buick Enclave
GMC Sierra EV Denali
Chevy Suburban
GMC Yukon
Chevy Tahoe
Cadillac Escalade
Chevy Silverado HD
Corvette Stingray
*I chose GM because I know they’ve sponsored the show for adverts during air-time and product placements. I also tried to keep with the show’s theme of choosing BFVs (big-fucking-vehicles) for all the characters.
If you think he drives a different brand of car, give me your propaganda in the tags, as long as it’s not a Found-On-Road-Dead (Ford). Tommy is canonically a car guy; he’d never drive a Ford. (Also, Henry Ford was a fuck-ass 🙅♂️.) I included some options below for you to consider, as polls only include so many options.
Special Mentions:
Jeep Gladiador
Land Rover Defender 90
Toyota Land Cruiser
RAM 3500
Toyota Tundra

The happiest day of my life was when Toby began showing an interest in cars. When he was five, all he cared about was dinosaurs. Then it was outer space. Toby didn’t like cars until he was ten-years-old, at which point I had basically given up hope. But now my little brother asks questions about cars as we drive to school. Every day without fail. And he’s learning to identify cars on sight. This morning, he pointed out a battered old Chevy in front of us.
“1980s Ford F350,” Toby guessed.
I imitated the buzzer sound that means wrong.
“Right decade, wrong company,” I corrected. “Chevy 3500.”
“But it had the Ford logo on the tailgate.”
“Not the original tailgate,” I said. “They’re both painted in the same color, but you can tell the tailgate is less faded than the rest.”
“Why would you put a Ford tailgate on a Chevy?”
“Sometimes you replace a part with the first thing you can find, even if it doesn’t match the rest. Especially on a car that’s twenty-years-old. Besides, it’s basically the same part. Only difference is the logo. There’s a few die-hards who worship at Henry Ford’s feet, but most people don’t really mind using the wrong logo when they need a part. And you can’t use a truck bed without a tailgate.”
“So how did you know it’s a Ford?”
“Are you kidding? Check out the corners on the top of the cab.”
Toby leaned forward to scrutinize the cab in question.
“But I got the decade right?”
“Yes. Yes, you did.”
“That’s good?” he asked.
“That’s very good.”
Although Toby knows everyone in Tarwater, he doesn’t know all their cars. He only started learning the difference between manufacturers about two years ago. Now, he can guess the decade a car was made with reasonable accuracy. Sometimes, I take him all the way to the Interstate. When he gets a little older, we’ll have to fully leave town to play this game because he’ll already recognize all the cars in town. But not quite yet. He still needs practice identifying cars based on their shape. He relies too much on logos.
I drive a silver 1991 Honda Civic. Not the world’s fanciest car, but I would have loved a bathtub with wheels if it could get me and Toby out of the house. And I would have loved it because it’s mine. Even a teenager’s first car, slow and old and basic, is still a car.
Toby pointed at another truck. “Early ‘90s Nissan?”
“Attaboy, Tobester!”

Just playing around in my head about in the sonic movies
If Alvis worked for eggman. Would as I have a story on how he would and stuff to keep it cannon to what I made for him
Depending on brand deal for donut lord drives means that car brand did a deal. Like the first movie he drove a Toyota Tacoma. And second movie he drove a Chevy Colorado ZR2.
Just thinking tho. What would Al drive? I'm thinking he's a HD pickup guy. Truck fitted with tech, 4x4 the lot!
So! If Toyota. It be a Tundra TRD PRO
And if chevy! 3500 Dually. Yes it would have the Duramax and the turbo sounds sounding like a jet.
His truck would have
HTL3500 sneeker lift
Alvis upgraded engine (heavily modded and run on his own fuel)
Airbags to help with carrying things
Armored cabin
5th wheel in the bed
Fate of the truck in AU sonic movie he'd be in. Crushed under collapsing factory. Emotional screen with Alvis stearing at his truck. At this point is the most valuable thing he had. But it was stuck so they had to abandoned ship (truck) as the factory crumbled he steared at the truck as then boom. The building falls down destroying it

Stopped by the store after work, and this lifted Chevy 3500 roared in right next to me, rigged up to be so loud that its idling set off the store's "someone's breaking in" alarms. They went off again when he left.
The damn thing had a custom camoflage paintjob, the kind where someone painted it matte black and then sprayed green over foliage for a more "realistic" pattern and I'm just left thinking, y'know, wtf are you trying to hide from when you made your truck loud enough to be heard in the next zip code?

What is the most popular headlight bulb size?
If you're a car guy, you just might know the answer to this question.
The most popular headlight bulb size is H11, which is commonly found in the low-beams of many popular vehicles.
If you guessed 9005 or H13, your were close but no cigar!
Why is H11 so popular?
Simply put, because it is found on most of the best selling cars in North America such as:
Ford F-150/250/350
Chevy Silverado 1500/2500/3500
RAM 1500/2500/3500
GMC Sierra 1500
Toyota Tundra
Toyota Tacoma
Hondas
Subarus
Nissans
Together, these cars make up over 80% of all car sales in North America!
A close second
Trailing behind the H11, we have the 9005, the most popular high beam bulb.
The 9005 is frequently found alongside the H11, which explains why it's also so popular.
And in case you are wondering, H11 and 9005 are not the same! See for yourself

little notes as i watch the tw movie again. eventually i'll use this as meta building or something but for now....
do u know how crazy scott felt when he started seeing allison initially? he'd always see pieces of her around and in his life, at random times just reminding him of her, but when the nogitsune was released he started to literally see her. he experienced spells of heavy anxiety leading to what he dubbed "visions" of allison, but they were so much more than that; it wasn't like he was just seeing her, it was like he was hallucinating her. and it was terrifyingly sudden... he thought he was having a mental break before he knew what was going on. him seeing allison in the clinic that day was not the first time it happened.
chris argent saying "you're seeing her too." oh my god the relief that spills from scott's shoulders!! he's not crazy, he's not losing it to mental illness; it's happening to chris, too, and the experience of what chris was dealing with over the past two weeks was insanely similar for scott.
going back to beacon hills after so long away was a bit mixed for him. he hadn't been to beacon hills in many years, him and his mom had both moved away during the time scott was in college. it felt good, in a way, that his hometown needed him again. in the same breath, though, it brought back a terrible anxiety with it; scott couldn't help asking himself if this was just the beginning? if they were going to have to go back into survival mode 25/8... would life go back to what it was when he was a teenager? what a fitting way to go back, though; pursuing the same monster his pack had defeated all those years ago?
the truck the red chevy truck!!!! just.... YES, that's scott's truck!! scott's a chevy guy.... specifically, he has a 2022 chevrolet silverado 3500. it's black and red and it's a turbo-diesel and it's awesome. he also has a motorcycle at home, but i'm not sure what kind yet.
scott really, genuinely cared about allison being at peace. if that's all that happened in their stay, allison's soul being able to rest again, scott would have been happy.
when he sees allison alive again for the first time, when he was turning to leave from a ritual that he had thought might put her at peace. it was like a punch to the gut. she was cremated, he knew this, and yet she was in his arms, flesh and blood. she looked like allison, and she smelled like allison, but how could it be her? he doesn't want to trust it initially.
*tiny note that i will never write scott & allison as immediately reconnecting romantically. they do reconnect, i think, as i write them as being mates—but it takes a lot of time to get there, for both of them, after such intense trauma. and scott has had years mental growth when allison did not and that affects them; if allison was still mentally a teenager, that'd be gross. they do not just overlook it, they take the steps to grow from it and overcome it when they're ready.
the leather jacket that scott is wearing... you know the one. add steel-toed work boots.... that's his Staple post canon.
more incoherent thoughts coming soon

The Massive Difference Between a Business that Values Technology and One that Doesn’t
It was only a few decades ago that purchasing a couple of computers for a business was almost the same investment as purchasing a decent company van. In 1986, a business could spend $3500 on a single Compaq Portable II, which was a 24 lb monstrosity with a tiny 9-inch screen. Alternatively, a Chevy Astro Cargo Van cost about $7800 around the same year.
I like making the van comparison because it’s a very easy frame of reference for the cost of starting a business. Starting a business is a pretty significant investment, and more than once I’ve made the comparison to new entrepreneurs that even a very small, basic tradesperson needs to at least invest in a service van. In other words, you need to just accept that there’s going to be some base-level cost in order to be professional.
So let’s get back to the 1980s, when the computers were hot, huge, and expensive. For younger readers who were born well after the 80s, it also helps put things in perspective to admit that computers back then were extremely limited in capability. They could store data, sort data, let you manage spreadsheets, and maybe print out a report. There was no Internet, at least, not really, and email wasn’t really all that widely accepted until much later on in the decade.
So why did businesses shell out thousands and thousands of dollars for these extremely expensive computers?
Despite the expense, despite the extreme novelty, and despite the lack of modern capabilities, computers revolutionized the way we all did business. Businesses that adopted technology saved money, and were able to collect more information and process that information in new and better ways. A store inventory could be managed without manually counting products, a manufacturer could track specific metrics about the entire assembly line, and a business could streamline literally everything around their accounts and expenses.
Technology = Value
In a world where it certainly feels like Apple and Samsung really want you to buy a new phone every year, and technology has become such a big part of life that we use terms like “off the grid” and “unplugged” as a way of giving ourselves a break from it all, it’s easy to forget why we invested in all of this glass, plastic, aluminum, and copper in the first place.
It’s so easy to feel burnout, partially thanks to how fast things change, how complicated technology has gotten, and how people are constantly trying to exploit modern technology to get in your face, steal your data, or just plain overcomplicate things.
For this thought experiment, I want you to imagine what your organization would look like if there weren’t computers, laptops, tablets, or smartphones.
How would a typical day go?
How would everyday tasks get done?
You’d have to start recording all information into paper ledgers—who is handling that? Who’s responsible for accuracy and redundancy? How are you communicating with customers and clients?
Everything suddenly gets a whole lot harder, and depending on your managerial style, you are either going to start sending everyone home or require some lengthy overtime.
You’ve Invested a Lot of Time and Money Into Your IT Already
None of this stuff is cheap. Sure, desktops and laptops have gone down in price for the most part over the last 20 years, and most hardware does tend to last a lot longer than it used to, but your IT and your overall network was not cheap. You sunk serious money into purchasing hardware, training your staff over the years, paying for software, and scaling it around your business.
Over the next few years, you are likely going to continue to invest in your IT. I’m not just talking about replacing older computers or upgrading your 10-year-old server. Your industry, no matter what it is, is going to change by adopting some new technology.
If you deal with money or sensitive information, you’ll need to meet specific compliance standards to protect your customers and their information. Insurance companies are likely going to start investing in blockchain technologies to securely handle claims. Manufacturers continue to adopt Internet of Things technology to streamline and automate reporting.
Adopting new technologies means a better end result, less error, and more customer satisfaction. It means shorter turnaround times, real-time analytics, and fewer steps in a process that a human could mess up.
Businesses that see the value in technology and carefully plan out their IT to grow into these new technologies will gradually outperform and outcompete businesses that don’t. It’s that simple.
Start Looking at Technology as a Profit Center, Not an Expense
Businesses in the 80’s invested in giant 24 lb “portable” computers because they knew the investment would eventually pay for itself in value. It’s time to start looking at your IT like that again.
No, I’m not saying you should go out and buy fully-loaded $5000 Alienware Aurora gaming PCs for each and every one of your staff, but you should definitely be looking at your budget and looking into ways that you can optimize and automate your business.
If you or your staff are dealing with snags that waste a lot of time, or have pain points involving technology, it’s time to get them completely ironed out. It’s time to take a good look at business continuity and deeper cybersecurity so that you don’t ever have to feel cursed simply by being connected to the Internet. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure when it comes to this sort of thing.
That’s the big difference. A business that sees their IT as a way to automate, sustain, and actually drive business forward is typically going to make intelligent decisions when investing in it. That includes understanding the additional investment in managing your technology and supporting your users.
That’s where we come in.
We’re not really here to sell you new hardware. Sure, we can do that, but our goal is to bring everything together for you. We can act as your virtual CIO and help you make informed decisions about driving your business forward with technology. We can manage and monitor and maintain your IT and provide support for your staff the same way an internal IT department can (but without the expense of training, certifications, and staffing).
If you value technology, we’re the perfect fit for you. Want to learn more? Give us a call today at 484-546-2001.

Best Trucks for Heavy-Duty Hauling: Our Top Picks
When it comes to heavy-duty hauling, not just any truck will do. Whether you're towing large equipment, moving materials for a construction project, or hauling a boat or trailer, you need a truck built for the job. These trucks are designed with powerful engines, robust frames, and high towing capacities to handle the toughest tasks. In this article, we highlight the best trucks for heavy-duty hauling to help you make an informed decision on which vehicle is right for your needs.
1. Ford Super Duty F-250
The Ford Super Duty F-250 has long been a go-to choice for those who need serious hauling power. With a maximum towing capacity of up to 20,000 pounds (when properly equipped), the F-250 is built to handle almost any heavy-duty task. It comes with a choice of powerful engines, including a 7.3-liter V8 gas engine and a 6.7-liter PowerStroke turbo-diesel V8. The diesel engine offers a towing capacity of up to 22,800 pounds, making it one of the most capable trucks on the market.
The F-250 also boasts an impressive payload capacity, with a maximum rating of around 4,260 pounds, which means you can load it up with heavy tools or equipment without worrying about exceeding weight limits. The truck’s advanced towing technology, including trailer sway control and a built-in trailer brake controller, makes hauling easier and safer.
2. Ram 3500
The Ram 3500 is another heavy-duty truck that excels in towing and hauling capacity. This truck offers a maximum towing capacity of up to 37,100 pounds when equipped with the 6.7-liter Cummins turbo-diesel engine. The powerful diesel engine produces a staggering 1,000 lb-ft of torque, which is ideal for hauling heavy loads over long distances.
The Ram 3500 is also known for its comfort and technology features. With a spacious interior, high-quality materials, and an intuitive infotainment system, it’s a great choice for those who need both power and convenience. The truck also comes with advanced towing aids, such as a rearview camera with a hitch zoom function, providing an extra layer of confidence while hooking up and driving with a heavy load.
3. Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD
The Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD is a heavy-duty truck that stands out for its combination of power, reliability, and technology. With a maximum towing capacity of 36,000 pounds (with the 6.6-liter Duramax diesel engine), the Silverado 3500HD is ready to take on the most demanding hauling jobs. The 6.6-liter turbo-diesel V8 engine produces 910 lb-ft of torque, giving it the muscle needed for serious towing.
In addition to its power, the Silverado 3500HD is packed with useful towing technologies, such as the Chevy-exclusive Trailering App, which helps you track your load and provides helpful towing tips. It also features a robust suspension system, ensuring a smooth ride even with heavy cargo. The truck's 15-camera system offers a bird's-eye view of the surroundings, making it easier to maneuver and park with a trailer in tow.
4. GMC Sierra 3500HD
The GMC Sierra 3500HD shares much of its design with the Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD but offers a more refined interior and additional luxury features. With a maximum towing capacity of 36,000 pounds and a 6.6-liter Duramax diesel V8 engine that delivers 910 lb-ft of torque, the Sierra 3500HD is as powerful as it is refined. It’s designed to handle the most demanding hauling jobs while providing a comfortable and quiet ride.
One of the standout features of the Sierra 3500HD is its Denali trim, which offers premium materials, advanced tech features, and a high-end interior. For those who want a tough truck that doesn’t skimp on luxury, the Sierra 3500HD is a great choice. It also comes with a comprehensive suite of towing aids, including an integrated trailer brake controller, trailer sway control, and a high-definition rearview camera.
5. Nissan Titan XD
The Nissan Titan XD is a slightly smaller alternative in the heavy-duty segment but still offers impressive towing capabilities. With a maximum towing capacity of 11,000 pounds for the gas model and up to 12,710 pounds with the 5.0-liter Cummins turbo-diesel V8, the Titan XD is an excellent choice for those who need a truck with a heavy-duty edge but don’t necessarily require the extreme towing power of larger models.
The Titan XD also provides a smooth, comfortable ride, thanks to its refined suspension system and quiet cabin. While it doesn’t offer the same high-end towing technology as some competitors, the Titan XD still features key towing aids like a trailer brake controller and a rearview camera. The truck also stands out for its relatively affordable pricing compared to other heavy-duty trucks.
6. Ford F-350 Super Duty
The Ford F-350 Super Duty is another powerhouse in Ford's heavy-duty lineup, offering a maximum towing capacity of up to 37,000 pounds when equipped with the diesel engine. Powered by a 6.7-liter PowerStroke turbo-diesel V8 engine, the F-350 delivers 1,050 lb-ft of torque, making it an excellent choice for those who need extreme towing and payload capacity.
In addition to its towing prowess, the F-350 comes equipped with several advanced safety features, such as lane departure warning and forward collision warning, which are especially useful when hauling heavy loads. The truck's high-strength steel frame and advanced suspension system help provide stability and a smooth ride, even with substantial weight in tow.
Conclusion
When it comes to heavy-duty hauling, choosing the right truck can make all the difference in terms of performance, reliability, and comfort. The Ford Super Duty F-250 and F-350, Ram 3500, Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD, GMC Sierra 3500HD, and Nissan Titan XD are all excellent choices, offering powerful engines, high towing capacities, and advanced towing technologies. Whether you need to haul a boat, tow construction equipment, or transport heavy loads across long distances, these trucks are built to handle the toughest jobs. Consider your specific needs and budget to determine which of these top-rated trucks is best suited for your heavy-duty hauling requirements.
