for as long as the world can remember, there has always been a peter — a running away kind of boy — and there has always been a wendy — a learning to fly kind of girl.

for as long as he can remember, oikawa has always been lost. he’s just never been fussed about the losing bit. because you see, for as long as he can remember, there’s always been the second star to the right, the brightest on the horizon, and if he’s got that, then at least he always knows where he is — physically, he means. so he can’t be that lost, right? even if he is the head of the lost boys, and it’s kind of their thing to be — well… lost.

he meets you on a balcony at dusk, right after sunset, when the sky is still light enough to see, but dark enough for the first glimmer of stars. he meets you in the midst of your last, lingering daydreams, and it was this that drew him to you, inexplicably, irrevocably. it was gravity and dusk and the sinking sun. it was truth and wandering and knowing you’re the one.

“you look like you’re thinking about something real serious,” he says. to which you yelp and nearly stumble off your feet. you clutch at your metaphorical pearls and slate a glare at him the way you’d seen your momma do at passersby when they jeer or say something unsightly.

“you scared me!”

oikawa cocks his head, “mah — you don’t seem all that scare-able but… i might be wrong.” his grin is sly and catlike and you can’t help but blush.

“i — i’m not scared!” you puff out your chest and let yourself take him in — him and his wind-swept hair and sky-kissed cheeks, the dulcet light of fading day draped across his shoulders like a lingering promise.

“good! then you’ll do just fine,” oikawa says, jerking his chin towards the darkening sky with a toothy grin.

“f-fine for what?” you ask.

oikawa sighs a soul-shaking sigh, “for getting lost, of course!”

you frown, “for… getting lost?”

“yeah! c’mon — it’s easy — here, i’ll help you up —” he holds out his hand, crouching on the wide white banisters of your second floor bedroom, the small terrace overlooking your family gardens. you lick your lips and peer over the edge. it seems like an awful long way to fall, if you were to fall that is.

“but… what if…” you crease your brows and bite your lips.

“i won’t let you fall. c’mon — i promise.”

you look up, and your eyes catch on the crescent moon curve of oikawa’s smile. behind him, the sky is a velvet skein, studded with so many gem-like stars. you want to run your fingers over them, wonder if they’d catch beneath your palms like the tiny pearls on your momma’s favorite black dress —

“okay then.” you say, reaching up to take his hand.

he smiles, something sweet, something real — and pulls you up beside him.

that was three, or four, or maybe even five years ago. and since then, you’d learned so much from him, met all his lost boys, been to the edge of the earth and over it — to neverland and then back again.

you’d met the marveling mermaids, the nebulous tree-nymphs, the flamingo-dotted lagoons, and the treacherous trails that leads up to the ever-rushing waterfall, where legend says that the first ever lost boy and the first ever lost girl had held hands and jumped —

“ — and they were never seen again…” oikawa says, the campfire casting brilliant orange shadows dancing across the planes of his laughing face.

you laugh, rolling your eyes as you lay back on the soft grasses and cast your eyes up at the sea of never-ending stars.

a few minutes later, you feel a body settle in the grass next to you. and you don’t have to look over to know who it is. by now, you know oikawa by mere presence, by the way his body cuts through the air, by the pattern of his breaths, by the way his laughter rings against a moonless night.

“do you ever miss it?” you ask, not looking at him.

“miss what?” he asks, and his voice is light and playful, though you can feel him go still.

something — something holds him still, even when he wants to sway with the tall grasses and sing with the stars. he stays, his eyes fixed on you.

“home,” you say.

oikawa licks his lips and casts his eyes up. he inches closers to you, close enough for his leg to brush against yours. he doesn’t answer.

because how is he to tell you that he’d long since forgotten what his home had looked like? he knows he must have had one — all the lost boys do. but isn’t it their job, then, to be lost as they are. isn’t it part of who they are to be here and there and nowhere, all at once?

how’s he to tell you that ever since the day he met you — you were the only place that’d ever felt like home?

that not even this vast neverland could ever replace you?

“i…” his lips are dry and his throat is drier. he swallows hard and looks for the second star to the right and straight on till morning and —

he shakes his head, and thinks he oughta try something different.

“do… do you ever miss… home?”

you laugh, pillowing your head on your interlocked hands. and it’d be a lie for him to say that he hadn’t noticed the change in you (and the changes in himself), the way that your round, girlish cheeks had slimmed, the way his own childish jaw had hardened, had lengthened in the days and months and… had it really been years? since he’d known you?

“sometimes… the things i can remember of it, that is,” you say.

oikawa bites back a wince. because of course — of course, you’d still remember those wide, white banisters, and that beautiful rose-filled garden. of course you’d still remember the lace-trimmed curtains that had hung over your huge french windows. of course, he couldn’t expect you to forget your darling mother and your darling father and your darling, ever-so-darling life — the one that you’d left behind.

but… he’d be remiss to say that he hadn’t at least hoped.

“come with me,” you say, turning your smile at him, and he reacts too late. he knows he is helpless against it — your smile.

your smile, your smile — your smile.

the sunlight and moonlight and distilled-down starlight of it all.

he could get drunk on it — even if he’d never really know what that word had meant in the first place, he thinks — he knows. it must be something like this. something like the dizziness that fills him nearly to the brim, the weightlessness of the world, even when he’s sitting perfectly still.

“i — i can’t.” he looks down at his interlaced fingers.

“why not?”

“i’m — i’m a lost boy,” its a weak stab at his usual bravado. he knows, and yet…

you slate him a dubious glance.

“well… you found me, didn’t you?”

he gapes. he has no good answer. because you’re right — he had found you. but… hadn’t that been his job? to find you and then to lead you… but to lead you what? astray? he didn’t like to think of himself as someone who leads people astray but… isn’t that what lost-people are?

“you… i…” oikawa stutters, frowning as he tries to piece together his thoughts .

you sit up, stretching your fingers towards the endless stars of the milky way, cast about the sky like so many careless, thoughtless points of light.

“come with me. you’ll be alright… and if you ever wanted to come back here… you’ll be able to find it again.”

oikawa shakes his head, “no… neverland isn’t for those who have been found… it’s —”

you sigh, rolling your eyes, “only for the lost boys and girls and ones who never grow up… yes, yes, i know… but…” you chew on your lips and twist your fingers, “what if… what if i wanna grow up? but i wanna still be your friend too? what then?”

oikawa feels his breath catch in his chest, like a sailor on the first notes of a siren’s deadly song.

“t-then… i guess you have to choose…” but even he can tell that there’s no conviction there, that doubt has already seeped the cracks and crevices of his wandering heart.

you heave a deep sigh and knit your arms, “well, that seems like a raw deal to me!”

oikawa blinks, startled at the hardness to your voice. and then, he starts to laugh, a bright, orange peels and sunrise kind of sound, a light, owl-feathers and starlight kind of sound. he laughs and laughs, and eventually, all his lost boys are laughing with him, holding their bellies and rolling on the soft, tall, flamingo-grazed grasses.

“i-it’s not funny!” you insist, your cheeks burning as you watch them all, rolling around in laughter, great, sharp peels of it echoing towards and eternally lightening horizon.

“b-but it is! a-and you’re right!” oikawa finally wipes at his eyes, still grinning wide as he straightens up again, dusting his clothes of the stray bits of grass, “i think it’s time for me to take you home.”

he reaches out a hand and for the first time in forever, you hesitate.

how many times had you reached out to take his hand? how many times had he held you strong and fast — just like the first time he’d taught you how to fly.

“c’mon… trust me.”

you smile, and you take his hand.

later — much later — when walking the moonlit paths of your very own rose garden in your very own home, you’d wonder about the miraculous days you’d spent in neverland. about how surreal they seemed, even now, like the frames of a long-forgotten dream.

“darling, what are you thinking about?” oikawa smiles as he hooks his chin over your shoulder and loops his arms around your waist. his voice is sweet and light and husky as the dusk, settling over the far horizon.

“nothing… just… wondering…”

“about what?”

you let your head fall onto his shoulder, letting your gaze trail upwards towards the first of the flickering stars.

“about… the flamingos. and the mermaid lagoon.”

“oh, i’m sure they’re being well taken care of,” his voice is rich and full of laughter, even as he spins you round to brush his lips against yours, his eyes are the color of glowing amber, sharp and hard and everlasting, “i left very specific instructions to iwa, you know.”

you roll your eyes, “i know, but…”

“ah, ah — no but’s — except maybe this one —”

you squeak as his grin twists lascivious and his hands wander south.

“darling!” you collapse into oikawa’s chest, laughing as he swings you around, dipping you low to capture your lips, kissing you sweet, kissing you full, kissing you till your breath is nothing more than a hummingbird-yearning in the center of your chest.

“yes?”

you licks your lips, your cheeks warm, “do you… ever miss it?”

“what? neverland?”

you shrug, casting your eyes up towards the now star-strewn sky.

“i suppose sometimes… it’s hard not to, isn’t it? but…” he grins again, tugging you to him as he stars to hum and your steps fall in line with his, the pair of you swaying in the light of the shy, waning moon, beneath the silver-kissed hems of silken clouds.

“but… what?” you ask, pressing your cheek to his broad chest, counting the steady badump-badump of his very solid heart.

oikawa wraps his arms around you and holds you tight.

“you found me… didn’t you?”

you smile; you nod; you keep on dancing in your moonlit garden.

“do you regret it?” you ask, after a long, long while.

oikawa scoffs, “do you?”

“do i what?” you look up.

“do you regret it? being found?”

you lick your lips as you consider his question.

“no,” you say, “not one bit… because i got to get lost with you.”

“then… there’s your answer,” he says, as he leans down to press his forehead against yours.

and far, far above you, the second star to the right flickers and winks and shines, acting as a guide for all those who are lost, and all those still in the process of being found — it shines and it shines, bright and bright and bright.

the second from the right, and straight on till morning light, right on to a promised ever — neverland.

ATSUMU MIYA

when your hands are cold he tries warming them up by blowing into them, but eventually gives up and just pouts and shoves your hands into his pockets.

as mentioned before, he loves decorating the christmas tree with you. has a large collection of ornaments as well, it's kinda scary.

christmas music is the only thing atsumu is listening to during decemeber. while he gets ready in the morning, doing homework, as he works out, you name it. he absolutely refuses to listen to anything else the whole 31 days.

atsumu bakes and decorates cookies with you!! you buy already pre-made cookie dough to save you and atsumu the hassle, but it always ends up chaotic anyways. atsumu tries to make various shaped cookies without using a cookie cutter since he feels he has more freedom without it and well, the cookies always end up spreading too much that you can't tell what it is. honestly not that bad at decorating with icing though, but they still sometimes come out questionable.

buys a fake mistletoe and hangs it on the front door so that you have to kiss him every time you leave the house. it's also an excuse to kiss you countless times everyday. atsumu believes he's an absolute mastermind for thinking this one up.

HINATA SHOYO

shoyo loves going out in the snow to build snowmen with you!! a majority of the time it just ends in you two having a snowball fight. he is absolutely heartbroken if someone destroys the snowman or whenever it melts.

ice skating!! since he has a great balance, he's a natural. he is actually a great teacher if you don't already know how to skate. goes slow and holds your hand the whole way. if you already know how to skate though, he playfully challenges you to a game of tag and immediately skates off before you get the chance to process what he said.

as much as he loves the outdoors and could honestly spend the whole day outside, it is quite the opposite during winter. shoyo enjoys staying inside during the rain/snow under the covers while watching christmas movies with you! his favorite christmas movie is definitely the polar express.

building forts!! a professional fort builder since his childhood. he makes them super cozy with a ton of blankets, pillows, and stuffed animals. shoyo also hangs christmas lights inside to make it all the more festive. the fort is also paired with a christmas movie marathon, hot chocolate, and other christmas snacks.

buys chocolate advent calendars for you guys!! he looks forward to seeing all the fun shaped chocolates everyday. gets a little sad at the end of the month, and wishes all holidays had advent calendars.

KAGEYAMA TOBIO

actually really good at decorating gingerbread houses. since his hands are so steady, the details are neat and precise. it honestly looks better than the one shown on the box.

simply going on walks in the snow and going to a cafe is one of tobio's favorite winter activities. holding each other's hands while stepping into the soft snow, and getting a nice, warm drink paired a pastry.

tobio gives you a shit ton of gifts, it's concerning. plans these gifts by listening to what you rant about wanting in previous weeks, asking your family/friends, and sneakily talk about stuff you would like. asks his sister for help on how to wrap the gifts, but they ultimately come out a little messy but he tried his best!

snow tubing is a must for tobio. he loves bundling up in warm clothes before, and makes sure you 100% are. you will not get sick on his watch!! he loves going tubing at night though since they have pretty colored lights on. tobio also attaches his tube to yours every time, because he likes seeing you smile and laugh throughout the ride.

buys multiple matching pajamas for you and him. varying from the abominable red flannel pajama pants, reindeer onesies, to grinch pajamas, tobio has it all.

You’re in the chemistry laboratory when it happens. You reach across the table for the sodium hydroxide at the same time Akaashi does.

“Oh sorry, you go first.” Akaashi, ever the gentleman, gestures for you to take the bottle.

And so you spurt the solution into your wellplate, according to the strategically-placed instruction sheet between you two.

You hand the bottle to Akaashi on your right without looking, feeling his slender fingers ghost over yours. Next thing you know, you hear a sizzle.

You swivel to the source of the noise.

Oh sparks shucks

Sparks fly from where your hands touch, jumping down onto the unfortunate instruction paper below. The paper is set ablaze.

Your heart drops to your stomach.

“Everyone out!” Your chemistry teacher commands.

The class scurries out, murmuring about the sudden evacuation. You stand next to Akaashi, whose gunmetal blue eyes look as confused as you are.

“What just happened?” Akaashi whispers to you.

“I don’t know,” you whisper back. “I handed you the bottle and then sparks started flying out of our hands. You saw it too right?” Akaashi nods in response.

The next few days are a series of awkward manoeuvring.

During physical education lesson (aka. supervised playing), you opt to play table tennis with him instead of your usual recreational two-men basketball.

In the cafeteria, you sit diagonally opposite each other. You keep your legs bent away from him and Akaashi does the same.

And the next week, Akaashi is seated firmly across the laboratory from you.

You suggested these changes to Akaashi after the last lab incident. He agreed, worried that another touch may lead to more accidental fires.

But now, seated across the room, Akaashi felt…empty. He couldn’t quite put his finger on it. He just knew that his heart ached when he saw you being so distant from him.

When he saw your genuine smile given to another classmate.

And when you helped that same classmate to light up their Bunsen burner. (He used to ask you to help him light his burner, claiming that his lighter wouldn’t work. You knew it was a fib - he could always ask to use yours, but you helped him anyway.)

He tried to shake off the feeling.

Get it together Keiji. You know why she’s treating you this way.

And so days went by with you two spending less time together, with Akaashi suppressing his feelings. The volleyball season was also approaching, giving him something to think about.

It is at a match that Akaashi truly sees you again.

Fukurodani is up against Nohebi. Both teams are at a stalemate in their second set, 30 for Nohebi and 31 for Fukurodani. Akaashi is panting. They’ve been going at this last set for close to an hour now.

He sets. The spiker hits. The ball bounces past the Nohebi players. Akaashi rejoices. Finally.

“Sir, the spiker touched the net! That’s a foul, it’s our point!” A Nohebi player, with the most annoying voice Akaashi’s ever heard, calls out.

The referee dares to even look convinced. Akaashi cannot believe the guy. He’s tired, his team is exhausted and he can’t blame them. He knows he won’t be able to draw out their potential like this.

Then, he hears a voice from the Fukurodani spectator section. Your voice.

“No, it’s not! The spiker touched the net after the ball made contact with the floor. Read the rules dude!”

Akaashi watches, dazed. You pluck the phone out of the hands of a spectator who was recording (with their consent of course) and stomp down to the referee, demanding that they rewatch the moment.

Akaashi is so grateful. You care, and you still have his back like the old times.

The referee (probably tired of the game), counts the point as Fukurodani’s. So they win! You cheer in elation with the supporters.

After the match, Akaashi offers to walk you home. You accept. And somehow, you end up next to the school pond. Somewhere you guys used to meet up when Akaashi was overthinking and needed a listening ear.

Maybe due to the adrenaline from winning or that he now knew that you cared, Akaashi decides that it’s the perfect time.

He begins by asking so politely for permission to give you a letter.

And you accept, knowing the potential consequences.

He hands you a brown envelope then gingerly brushes his fingertips against the back of your hand. You two hold your breaths, ready to dunk yourselves in the water (you hoped it was clean) if need be.

And sparks fly

Again, but they don’t destroy.

You shove the envelope haphazardly into your pocket. Akaashi wraps his fingers around yours more firmly this time, and you slide both hands securely into his in affirmation.

So you two stand there holding hands, wisps of sparkly smoke cascade from your intertwined hands and swirl into the air around you.

Akaashi feels at peace. Standing with you, all his doubts and worries simply evaporate.

And at that moment, he realises - you’re his soulmate. His spark, here to burn those meddlesome thoughts and to create something beautiful with him.

Looking into your eyes full of curiosity and wonder and love, he knows that you think so too.

In the first months of the debut of the group “Tiramisu”, the member Oikawa struggled with his vocals and confidence.

 So, as the hardest song of the group came up, the visual started to pretend his microphone didn’t work, as his part of the song came closer. Kageyama, seeing the struggle of his coworker (after being reminded daily by the visual that he should only call him by this name), that was currently pointing to his microphone and to his ear repeatedly and looking to the staff backstage with a misbelieving expression, decided to help and offered his microphone to the oldest.

Oikawa stared at the other with a blank face and grabbed Kageyama`s microphone with a strong grip while murmuring various things to the youngest face after being forced to do his job (poor guy).

After the concert, the group log in to weverse and start a live as always.

The live starts normally. The members introduce themselves, Iwaizumi is with his resting bitch face, Kenma is monitoring the comments, Oikawa and Kageyama sit awkwardly next to each other and Daichi does the most talking like always.

As the live goes by, the side eyes that Oikawa throws at Kageyama and his immature responses when the youngest talked, weren’t noticed by the other members. But the fans see everything.

 Kenma scrolls through the comment section “Kenma what color do you want to dye your hair next?” probably purple, not my choice so whatever “Iwaizumi you are so hot, pls marry me and let’s have kids” oh wow  “What’s happening with Oikawa’s eyes? If he rolls them back even more when Kageyama talks to him, they might get stuck!! Be careful Oikawa!!!” wait, what “Did Oikawa just mutter ´fuck you` to Kageyama or am I hallucinating?” HOW AM I NOT NOTICING THIS

Kenma whips his head to stare at the two members on the other side of the sofa the group is sitting on, and now he can see that Oikawa looks indeed mad and doing his best job at ignoring and insulting the youngest member without the other noticing. Why can’t he be this good at singing? Kenma thinks.

Kenma pulls his phone out and texts Daichi

 Iwaizumi clicks on the link and TikTok opens with the video. This one consisted of Oikawa rolling his eyes to Kageyama and ignoring him in the live from 2 days ago. The subtitles in the video talked about how Oikawa is rude to the youngest member of the group, and he should know better. Iwaizumi turns up the volume of his phone, and the song “NDA” from Billie Eilish starts playing, specifically at the part “did I take it too far now I know what you are” what the fuck is happening Iwaizumi thinks. The video had almost 500k likes, omg we are so fucked...

Oikawa walks to Iwaizumi and gives him a confusing, but teasing face “Iwa-chan are you watching sad edits? I knew you were an emo boy” he says with a mocking tone

Iwaizumi ignores the comment and quickly shuts him up before he can say anything else “Oikawa after practice we need to talk, and also with Kageyama”

Oikawa groans loudly at the mention of the black-haired boy “What did Kageyama do now omg. Can’t he shut his mouth?”

Iwaizumi stares at the taller man, and sighs heavily before returning to the center of the practice room

“Wait, what? What happened? WHY DID YOU SIGH LIKE THAT?!” Oikawa screams after following Iwaizumi with his head while throwing his arms up

Kenma watched the interaction from afar, not my problem.

After practice the group returned to their shared dorm and Iwaizumi points to his room to Oikawa and Kageyama.

The three boys were sitting in a circle inside the room watching the video that Iwaizumi had the privilege to watch earlier.

Oikawa stares at the phone with blank eyes after the video is over, he gulps nervously, and quickly tries to defend himself  “Okay, these fans are overreacting. Nothing happened I was just tired!” he exclaimed without staring at Iwaizumi’s strong gaze

“Oh yeah? Are you sure about that?” Iwaizumi asks with crossed arms

Oikawa finally looks at the other boy with disgusting puppy eyes “…Yes?” he asks anxiously

“Then why did I watch a video from the show with you muttering to Kageyama 'kill yourself' when he gave you the microphone?” Iwaizumi quickly shots back

Oikawa stands his head up brutally “OMG, are you really believing these rumors? I said 'thank you, I will give you a hug later' ” he says while cracking his voice slightly

Iwaizumi once again stares at the other with a "cut the bullshit" expression “You know damn well you started to death threat him in the middle of the concert”

“Um, Oikawa I am sorry but you literally said it to my face, so you can’t really lie on this one” says Kageyama that was until now watching the interaction in silence

Oikawa groans loudly “Your generation is so sensitive. I didn’t do anything, it’s not that deep” he says while grabbing his phone and scrolling through his lockscreen

“Kageyama get out for a minute, please” Iwaizumi says without taking is eyes from Oikawa

“Oh, sure…” Kageyama says, concerned with the visual

When Kageyama shuts the door Iwaizumi grabs Oikawa’s hair “What the fuck happened, tell me NOW!” he screams the last word in the other’s ear

Oikawa is squirming in Iwaizumi’s hold “OMG LET GO OF MY HAIR YOU ANIMAL, WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?” he screams while trying to escape

Oikawa takes his head out of the floor and stares at the other boy “Hajime… I can’t sing for shit, and he is so better than me. When he gave me his microphone, I saw red, and I just started to say stupid shit… What am I going to do?” he says after finally realizing the damage he has done

“Calm down Mint Gum, me and Kageyama were in some controversy (…)” “You were in some controversy” Sugawara interrupts “(…) so Iwa-chan had the idea of posting a video of me and my sweet maknae being bffs, isn’t it cute?” Oikawa explains with a fake and high tone

“You know damn well you filmed this clips this week just so you could save your ass” Sugawara responds while rolling his eyes

 “So?  Why don’t you mind your own business? And also it was all Kageyama’s fault, he should know better than to test the Grand King to a vocal battle” Oikawa says in the other line

Haikyuu

Short Synopsis: Determined to be like the volleyball championship's star player nicknamed "the small giant", Shoyo joins his school's volleyball club.

Episodes: 85 + 5 OVA

The worst thing that can possibly happen is either the 3rd year students graduating or you being unable to support a specific team (nah cuz bro how do you pick and root for one? I end up being happy for the team that won and depressed for the team that lost)

Highschool Babysitters

Synopsis: After the sudden death of their parents on a plane crash, two young brothers named Ryūichi Kashima (a freshman in high school) and his younger brother Kotarō (a preschooler) are left orphaned and having no place to call home. The chairwoman of the prestigious Morinomiya Academy offers to take the boys into her care, giving them a new house and free tuition, on the condition that Ryuichi helps out with the school's daycare center while also attending normal classes during school hours.

Note: Plane crash seems sad but trust me, its only mentioned in the first episode, and the rest 11 is just fluffy goodness. Nothing can prepare you for the cuteness.

Cells At Work

Synopsis: One newcomer red blood cell just wants to do her job. Between bacteria incursions and meeting a certain white blood cell, she's got a lot to learn.

Episodes: 31 + 7

A good mix of science and entertainment. The episodes dont have to be watched in any specific order.

Mr. Osomatsu

Synopsis: The everyday lives of identical sextuplets who cause mischief.

Episodes: 75 + special eps + movies

Has a good amount of 18+ jokes, but its not too overwhelming. It doesnt necessarily follow a plot, and each episode is usually two different stories combined. So, skipping episodes should be fine. Also, it features very popular voice actors for the sextuplets (Geto's VA, Gojo's VA, Levi's VA, Koro sensei's VA, Erwin's VA and Haku/ Sugawara's VA), Iyami (Obanai Iguro's VA), Totoko (Shoko's VA)

The Vampire Dies in No Time

Synopsis: The story follows the famed vampire hunter, Ronaldo, who receives a job to destroy the supposedly invincible vampire lord Draluc and rescue a human boy he allegedly kidnapped.

Episodes: 24

Note: Its a hit or miss, the running gag is used constantly and gets tiring at times, but the overall anime is a good watch. I personally loved John the Armadillo

Buddy Daddies

Synopsis: Assassins Kazuki Kurusu and Rei Suwa meet Miri, a girl looking for her father on Christmas Day. Kazuki, Rei, and Miri unexpectedly end up living together.

Episodes: 12

May get dark at times, so I wont guarantee that itll be a smooth sail, but we get a wholesome conclusion so you can count on that! Otherwise VERY fluffy

Blue Lock

Synopsis: High school soccer players from across Japan gather for a controversial project designed to create the best and most egoistic striker in the world.

Episodes: 24

Isnt exactly true football, but yeah. The anime is pretty fine. It doesnt exactly go under the fluffy anime like i mentioned in the title, but you can check it out if you want.

Synopsis: The story is centered on high school student Haruka Nanase, a gifted swimmer. After encountering his childhood rival, Rin Matsuoka from Samezuka Academy, he and his friends revitalize Iwatobi High School's swim team.

Episodes: 37 + specials and movies

This anime to me, personally is what haikyuu is. A great comfort anime which knows how to make the viewer connect with the characters. I dislike it when the whole anime gets reduced to just fanservice, like guys lets look beyond that and actually enjoy the plot.

Life Lessons With Uramichi Oniisan

Synopsis: From smoking and exercising to nihilistic outbursts, everyone's big brother Uramichi always brings up the not-so-moral side to his life lessons

Episodes: 13

This one is very real and relatable in many levels. Theres a lot of screenshots and panels available online, so you can check a few out before watching!

Obey Me

Synopsis: Brothers Lucifer, Mammon, Leviathan, Satan, Asmodeus, Beelzebub, and Belphegor are among the most powerful demons in the Devildom, serving as officers on the student council at the Royal Academy of Diavolo (RAD). However, being avatars of the seven deadly sins, their behaviors often tend toward the extreme. Their everyday antics belie their high status and fearsome reputations among others of their kind. When viewed behind the scenes, the members of this family are more lovable—and laughable—than they first seem!

It's based on a popular otome game, and can be watched as it is even if you havent played the game. The basic idea is that theyre based on the 7 sins, so their personalities are really amusing. As for the plot, its pretty wholesome.

Play It Cool Guys

Synopsis: Despite their distinctive personalities, Souma Shiki, Hayate Ichikura, Shun Futami, and Takayuki Mima all have one thing in common: though naturally clumsy, the four disguise their embarrassment from tiny slip-ups by maintaining a composed demeanor. However, it is actually the guys' airheaded natures that makes the girls' hearts throb. No matter what happens in their daily lives, the boys do their best not to lose their cool!

Episodes: 24

Each episode is barely 10-13 minutes, so it just doesnt feel enough lol. Most of their slip ups are relatable and could get a chuckle from the viewer. The art style is a little different but its good. Definitely worth watching, once or even multiple times.

Tanaka Kun is Always Listless

Synopsis: For high school student Tanaka, the act of being listless is a way of life. Known for his inattentiveness and ability to fall asleep anywhere, Tanaka prays that each day will be as uneventful as the last, seeking to preserve his lazy lifestyle however he can by avoiding situations that require him to exert himself. Along with his dependable friend Oota who helps him with tasks he is unable to accomplish, the lethargic teenager constantly deals with events that prevent him from experiencing the quiet and peaceful days he longs for.

Not gonna lie, Ive wanted to act like Tanaka. The characters are lovable and the anime is worth giving a try. An underrated gem. I personally loved the school festival episode.
