today i turn 30!

time for a little self reflection:

over my 30 years of living, i’ve learned a lot about myself. good things, bad things.

it feels like i didn’t truly hit adult maturity until around a year or two ago. most of my life, i felt like i tried to live as that kid i was before any of the trauma i went thru growing up

but now? i’m finally feeling like i’ve grown into myself. i look at my past and cringe, i look at my life in my 20’s and wish i was better.

now that i’m 30, i think things will be better. *i* will be better. i still have ways to go, but i try and better myself every day. much like the files in my art program right now, i too am a work in progress.

anyways, long-winded reflection aside, here’s to 30 years on this bitch of an earth!
