i think his usual one has significance to him, not so sure what but i hope it comes up in his story. according to what i’ve read in/out of game, his red scarf is what makes him lighter. that being said, i think he does feel a little bare without it around his neck. he’d try the hand crocheted scarf and it feels COMPLETELY DIFFERENT to his scarf.

admittedly, the texture is a lot softer than his scarf, less fire resistant though. the one problem he has with it is that it’s TOO obvious that it was gifted and handmade FOR HIM. that doesn’t match with his cool guy personality !! but the look on your face when you were holding it out for him… how could he reject? i mean, he would never reject but now wearing it out in public made him embarrassed.

the others in the SoC immediately noticed it and are all teasing him in their own way. he’s turning the same shade of red as his usual scarf, but in between all the teasing, they’re complimenting it. the craftsmanship, how well it looks with his outfit. he wouldn’t admit it, but he agreed with them.

now that you’re back with his usual scarf, he’s a little relieved but also missing the feel of your handmade scarf. as you wrap and tie his scarf around his neck, he’s holding the other scarf tightly in his hands, not saying much. but you could tell behind his shades, that he’ll definitely keep that scarf close to him at all times.

Not one of the elders', or Yaga's. Satoru follows Suguru's moral and opinions even if he isn't obligated to do so. He follows them because Suguru is the only person he looks up to for advice, the only person he listens to, the only person he wants to impress and be liked by.

a while ago, the talented @linksthoughtbrambles wrote this insanely beautiful fic for a gift exchange event for me, and I am still not over it and I doubt that I'll ever get over it. I wanted to draw That Scene in the story because wow, I think about it a lot. (I also need to practice drawing Link's royal guard outfit for... reasons.)

to my knowledge, there are 4:

january 24th - gild tesoro (one piece film: gold)

may 10th - adio suerte (one piece odyssey)

september 2nd - lim (one piece odyssey)

december 26th - octopus boxer (caesar retrieval arc)

the reason i decided to make this blog only manga (canon) characters was because i thought there would be way more anime-only (non-canon) characters with birthdays when i started, and i wanted to keep the images of the posts consistent, using oda's drawings since i greatly prefer them to the anime's art style. also it's just a lot easier to keep track of recent appearances and take screenshots with the manga lmao

I hope Satoru asked "If I had noticed what was going on with you... would it have been different?".

I hope Suguru smiled at that because Satoru was never one to give much thought to what could have been if he did anything differently. And yet, here he was, wondering if him standing there, minutes away from killing his one and only best friend, could have been avoided.

I hope Suguru answers "Maybe." Debating whether he should tell Satoru whatever would make it easier for him to get over their relationship, or whether he should tease him and make it harder for him by saying the truth, which is that it's impossible to know, and it doesn't matter now anyway...

"Or maybe we were doomed from the start by our curse technique." Meaning maybe they were always meant to end up on different sides of the war. Maybe they should have never been one. Maybe they were always meant to be torn apart.

Because Gojo was always meant to be the chosen one, to be the good, the light. And maybe Geto was doomed from the start to become the bad, the darkness, because he had to always be surrounded by it, always had to consume it. Maybe it was foolish for either of them to ever think Geto would not end up consumed by the darkness.

But now it's too late. It doesn't matter anymore. The question is just a way for Satoru to buy himself some time because he always hoped that they would end up together again. This time forever.
