So... Yesterday I was watching the episode with some friends and one of them said that they didn't like that Luke made too much sense in the show in comparison to the books. But here's the thing (or at least, here's the thing FOR ME). Luke was always right, and he ALWAYS MADE SENSE. He wasn’t just doing that because, he had reasons (and very good ones if you ask me). The problem was not Luke's beliefs but how he wanted to achieve the change that he knew needed to happen. To me, Luke made a lot of sense in the books AND in the show. Idk if this made any sense, it's 4 a.m. and I'm highly sleep-deprived.

Nah because I actually loved Hades in this, it just further proves how misunderstood he is and essentially shunned by his family. Like people expecting all dark and stormy, and he’s just an anxious little guy. He offered them sanctuary the second he realized how much more is to come like…

I've seen people contrasting GoT with the Percy Jackson TV show (in terms of budget and what they've achieved). Idk, people, I would think that we AREN'T GOING TO HAVE ONE OF THOSE BLOODY BATTLES BECAUSE THE SHOW IS TARGETED AT CHILDREN. Imo, the show is doing great taking that into account. Just saying...

Disney has one job right now, and that’s to green light Percy Jackson & The Olympians for the five season arc it deserves, but ONLY if Rick is up for it and remains an executive producer, so that they can do his vision justice.

The only bad thing about the TV show is that I have to wait a week for the next episode. What do you MEAN I can’t just turn the page and read the next chapter like I’m 11 again staying up too late reading??

I've been reading at least two or three comments about the changes in the story in the show DAILY. I think it's important that we remember that Rick has been involved in the production of this show and that we should trust him AND trust the team that has been working so hard to give us these incredible episodes. Yes, there have been changes. But, honestly, the changes MAKE SENSE. Sometimes it's not easy to adapt things from a book to a movie or a tv show because they're different types of media and things might not work out. In addition to that, Rick wrote the first book many years ago and ever since that moment Percy Jackson's story has grown A LOT!!! There might be one or two things that he probably thinks that could work much much better than what he originally wrote. So far, I think that the changes are amazing and help the audience to get to know and understand the characters better.
