Stan and Kyle with Serj Tankian and Daron Malakian's makeup from System Of A Down :3 (Version without makeup here ↓)

I drew this in November 2024 but I never posted it because I was so embarrassed (?) But well, I like it right now :) Them as SOAD fans at 16-17yo <33

I really liked adding some of my headcanons, like them as Nirvana fans/listeners (Stan's t-shirt [which is also my first Nirvana t-shirt, me projecting myself onto Stan as always 🫡] and Kyle's In Utero poster). Also, I've added a poster of The Cure and the Toxicity album from SOAD too :3

And my favourite one, Kyle's pendant with the C of Crimson Dawn <33 Stan gave it to him when they were 14 and it is secretly his favourite possession (although he has never admitted it, he always wears it).

And well that's all, it's my first time drawing Stan with bleached hair like Trey's, I don't know if I'll keep it for other drawings but for now I like it :]

bureaucracy...

#1. i try to register for council tax and have to give any previous edi addresses. i enter old postcode. the flat number isn't listed :)#2. i register for broadband & give my new address over the phone. somehow the order defaults to a previous address anyway #luckily i notice and call up to stop the engineer being sent out to a random house at the other end of the country #plusnet take my new details again but say they can't send a guy out for 3 weeks :)#don't have 4G in my new flat and work from home. i ask for a discount for my troubles since it wasn't my fault. they say no :)#3. i try to take my meter readings the day i move in to avoid paying too much energy bill. both meters are so old they've expired :)#i text the previous tenant she says it's an ongoing issue. she pestered the energy company about it for a year. they didn't do anything :)#4. the previous tenant was a filthy human being who has never picked up a duster or hoover in her life #i spend the first 48 hours in the new home cleaning up mouse droppings cobwebs and thick dust from every single surface :)#the landlord apologises and says he will send a cleaner next week. i have already cleaned everything but i accept anyway #5. i pass on my p45 to my new job as soon as possible to make sure i don't get put on the emergency tax rate #HR says this doesn't look right it's dated from six months ago. i say i haven't been working in that time they say ok leave it with us #one month later they contact me again to say hey your p45 is dated from six months ago :))) i say yes i know. i haven't been working #they say oh yes that's right. leave it with us :))))#i'm one minor inconvenience away from ending it all #dear diary

Also, did anyone else have extremely slow queue times in the last 24 hours or was that just me,,

#devin’s gaming logs #and i kept getting mirror matches which makes NO sense if future only got 17% of the votes djbvjdskjsb #but specifically only during the last 24 hours. the first 48 matchmaking was fine for the most part #like i was in queue for like 2 minutes almost every match #which wouldnt be as annoying if i was guaranteed not to get a mirror match #i wouldnt mind waiting if it meant no mirror matches but i got one at least 1/3 of the time during the last 24 hours

#as a type 1 diabetic myself - diagnosed at the age of 5 - i know firsthand just how excruciating it feels to not have access to insulin.#there are days such as the past 3 days where a series of circumstances leads to me having high glucose levels for 48 hours straight #and it feels like hell. i could barely sleep and i was always thirsty. it’s not even a fraction of what it’s like going without insulin.#it’s a slow and painful death with nothing to relieve it other than the insulin itself #if you’ve watched killers of the flower moon - it is exactly like mollie’s state of pain when ernest was messing with her medicine #just fatigue and pain #i don’t know what words to use to describe how painful it is lol. it’s awful. and this is without constant bombing.
