Episode 8-2nd favorite episode.
It's the last episode before shit goes down twisted. And it's got the so very sweet date and is genuinely laugh-out-loud funny. But it's also got Tawan haunting Porsche, and it's got Chay's love song and Kim realizing how very fucked everything is.
And it's got this beautiful moment of mature communication between Kinn and Porsche, but filled with foreshadowing. (I love how they're sitting here, connected, on the same level, but also in their own space, signaling the divide to come. I don't think it's a coincidence that Porsche is constantly getting Kinn to sit on the floor or the ground with him -he's pulling him off his throne.)

I've watched only five Kamen Rider series so far and I've noticed a pattern of Episodes 6 consolidating my favorite characters

Sound Euphonium Season 3 Episode 5:
The contrast of Mayu finally switching over to wearing a Kitauji uniform while simultaneously being the most excluded she’s ever been is so dire.
She tries to forfeit the auditions, Kumiko lies to her about being busy, and when they all take a picture at the festival she is the one who takes it and isn’t in it…
It breaks my heart. I was afraid of what her presence likely meant for Kumiko at first (and I mean probably still means. I can’t imagine the auditions go smoothly), but that’s exactly how the character’s feel too!! I’ve been tricked and it worked perfectly.
Everything about Mayu is dire. I might not survive next week’s episode.

One of my least favorite things about LOK is the fact that they completely removed Katara's personality. Like it's been a fucklong time, of course she wouldn't be the same person as when she was 14, but they still simplified her to just Old Lady. Where's her spark?? Her attitude??? She's a sweet and caring person, but she can also be petty and quick to anger. But I swear every time she's on screen in LOK it's just *old lady smiles* or *old lady looks worried* like What? Where's Katara??? Bc that's certainly not her.
