CURLY HAIRED HAIRDRESSERS ARE THE BEST!!! I GOT THE BEST HAIRCUT TODAY AND MY HAIRDRESSER WAS SO GENTLE WITH MY HAIR :D I AM WHITE AND IM ITALIAN ON BOTH SIDES OF MY FAMILY, AND I HAVE NATURALLY 2c - 3a HAIR (DEPENDING ON HOW I WASH IT OR PUT PRODUCTS IN IT) AND IT SO RARE TO GET A GENUINELY COMFORTABLE HAIRCUT EXPRERIENCR AND IM JUST SUPER HAPPY AB IT :DDD!!

I need help.

I have 2c/3a curls and I'm finally starting to maintain them

I've been using the pineapple method to sleep to maintain my curls but I'm starting to get tension headaches from it.

I have a harder time sleeping if I have something wrapped around my head and I don't own a bonnet.

Anyone have tips or have this issue? ._.

guys I FIGURED IT OUT 🙂‍↕️🙌🙌🙌

1. used the shea moisture repairing masque especially on this one part in the back that's really crispy and frizzy for some unknown reason

2. shampoo REALLY well when i wash my hair. brush it through my whole length of hair in the shower before rinsing it off.

3. when i get out of the shower, apply generous amounts of mousse and then go over the top with a bit of gel, then brush it with a tangle teezer brush (has lots of small gentle bristles).

4. put my hair in a microfiber towel for about 30 mins

5. blow dry with a diffuser. i read something on my phone while i do it because it's pretty tedious (my hair still takes forever to dry).

and BOOM! my hair has never looked this good. hopefully the curly haired folks will find this post if they too are struggling 🙏

do any of mutuals/oomfs have curly hair?

mine's like 2c/3a and omg i am so frustrated with it 😭 it's SO dry but also somehow low porosity (takes 6+ hours to dry and products just sit on top of it instead of absorbing in) and im just left with a frizzy sticky tangled mess and I NEED HELP
