We went from “still just getting to know each other” to full on fanfic courtesy people mag in exactly 14 days. Do you think this could mean it will be short lived? Seems to be moving fast.

I don’t know what is going to happen because I don’t know what her goal is beyond simple publicity for the movie and 1989 tv (and just in general being seen dating a man which is important for her image and for selling music) and we’ll have to wait to see how it goes. I still stand by it likely to be short lived but whether that means November or March, your guess is good as mine. I think I’m currently leaning more in the March direction as being most likely, but it could be tomorrow or it could be forever or whatever she said in Blank Space.

In case anyone’s keeping count, I also have pretty much settled on all of this being well planned out in advance, including his appearance at the July KC tour in the first place. I wouldn’t be surprised if it had been planned for a very long time, just like Matty was.

1) have them linked publicly (for Travis it was the concert and friendship bracelet digits story). Sit back and watch the reaction, and give it a bit of a push in the right direction. With joe this was all done retroactively, after their relationship was “accidentally” leaked we found out they hung out in Oct. With Matty this was done over the course of late 2022-early 2023.

2) soft launch it by announcing an appearance ahead of time to get all eyes on it, while planting stories that they’ve hung out a few times, to establish a timeline back into the summer (august 1ish). Have her publicly meet his mom and get her approval. Again, with joe this was done retroactively, where we found out she had pined over him all summer and their anniversary was sept 28, and we’ve even now got a hook up on Aril 29. For Matty, she met his mom in stage 1), then this stage was her announcing the break up on Matty’s bday, and then planting stories that they were dating, that he’d go to Nash and there’d be PDA, and then stories that she thought maybe he was the one who got away, and had quietly been in love with him for almost a decade.

3) launch, but keep it casual. There’s still time to back out if things go poorly. People have time to get used to it and talk about “are they or aren’t they�� serious, and you can control the narrative via media outlets and inside sources to set people up the way you want them to lean, all without even having them seen together more than once or twice. Set up a casual photo of them that seems to taken without their knowledge in a private moment. (Balcony with joe, private club with Matty, after party in KC with Travis.) This is far as she got with Matty then she cut her losses. Or I guess you could argue they had spilled into step 4). It’s a spectrum. With joe, again this was done retroactively but also the summer of 2017, no one knew how serious they were until secret sessions/rep came out.

4) hard launch during movie opening weekend. WE ARE HERE. For Matty this was probably supposed to happen during speak now release. But who knows. For joe it was reputation’s release.

5) Optional: push things hard until enough people seem to be generally getting tired of it. I assume this is next with Travlor. No idea how long this will last. Days or weeks I think. With joe this wasn’t a big deal because of the privacy narrative. No one could get tired of something they never saw (though they could get bored of it which was ok at that stage but boredom is the opposite of what she wants now.) With Travis I think this stage will be more of an important thing. If you go back to Calvin, this stage was most of their relationship.

6) cool things down so then people talk about “are they or aren’t they still together?” This was a constant with joe. I think this was just at the end for Calvin and the answer was they weren’t still together.

7) relaunch so everyone is excited to see them again. Steps 6-7 happened a lot with Joe naturally because of the privacy narrative. Will travlor get to this stage? I think so but it will be much accelerated. Like nothing for a week and people will wonder. Then, bang, she’s there again. Something like that.

8) ongoing: periodically lightly escalate the seriousness of the relationship. We’re already in this stage and it will continue. There is current chatter about her house shopping in KC. The usual (she actually BOUGHT a house one time for a man. And remember her Scottish castle, and how she and joe were constantly buying a London house for 6 years including furniture shopping right before they broke up?) And there will be constant talk of settling down and getting engaged.

9) and on and on until it ends. We could zoom through these stage over the next 2 weeks, or in seemingly endless loop of stages 6-9 for two years. No way to know until it ends or they get married, have 10 kids and teach them how to dream.

10) optional: black swan event. All bets are off.

I think it’s likely she’ll go to a couple of more games, and be seen spending as much time with him as reasonably possible before her next tour date. They need to “get to know each other” and “enjoy this fun honeymoon stage while they’re both smitten” while she can. Keep in mind her SA tour section is only 3 weeks long, and he could even potentially go to Argentina on his off week, so that’s not really enough time for the “their busy schedules were too much” excuse. Possible but you know not as likely. Then she’s off for for a couple of months again. Imagine the fun they can have over Christmas. We’ll skip the island vacation around new years or star-studded New Year’s party this time because he’ll still be playing football, so imagine her at playoff games. She’s getting literal millions of dollars in almost free publicity from this, and no matter how many people want to say she’s getting negative attention or being over-exposed or whatever, I don’t see it that way at all. It’s going very very well. All for the price of a few hours of her time and some jet fuel. So, like I didn’t see any reason for her to end it with joe because he was serving his purpose, I see no reason for this to end. Until she has reached her unknown-to-us goal.

There is a lot I can’t see or know, so these are just my best guesses based on what we’ve seen so far and what I see on their schedule for the next few months, and of course, my belief that this relationship not real.

CRYSTAR coming to PS5 on February 27, 2025 in Japan - Gematsu

FuRyu will release a PlayStation 5 version of action RPG CRYSTAR on February 27, 2025 in Japan for 5,720 yen, the company announced. It will be available both physically and digitally.

CRYSTAR first launched for PlayStation 4 on October 18, 2018 in Japan, followed by PlayStation 4 in North America and PC via Steam worldwide on August 27, 2019, PlayStation 4 in Europe on August 30, 2019, Switch in Japan on February 24, 2022, Switch in North America on March 29, 2022, and Switch in Europe on April 1, 2022.

Like the Switch version, the PlayStation 5 version will include over 30 pieces of additional content previously released as downloadable content for the PlayStation 4 and PC versions.

One year ago today— August 29, 2022— I released my first EP. I called the project "Sword and Stone," because I wrote one song with that title and fully believed it would just be that song, just that single. And then, of course, I wrote three other songs. I couldn't help myself. Each on its own tells a story; the four in aggregate tell a more complicated one, a multiplicative enriching. In some ways they tell a story other people told first. In other ways they fill gaps in a story nobody has written yet.

I wrote them in the bathtub and in public pools. It seems apt, in retrospect, that I should write songs about a boat while suspended in water. They're not about a boat. They're about something that was about a boat. They do not mention a boat. The boat is implied. They're about legacy, about choice, about consequence. They're about sun and tragedy. They're about some pirates. They're about me in the same way that everything I make is a little bit about weather (these songs are about weather)— everything I make is a little bit about me. They're about me primarily just in that I made them, and therefore they're about how I would make them. The pirates, though. They're mostly about the pirates.

"Sword and Stone" was a summer-long labor with more love and frustration and endless nights than I can convey. I recorded them in my living room using free software and a microphone gifted to me by a friend's father. More than once I had to stop recording because it was 6 am and the street noise was getting too loud with all the people driving to work or the gym or wherever people drive at 6 am. I don't know. I don't drive. This project consumed me for months; any solitude I could steal was funneled entirely into it.

It was the hardest thing I've ever done. It was the greatest thing I've ever done. Of the innumerable creative pursuits throughout my life, this was the one I am proudest of. I hit a note in "Madi's Lament" I have never been able to recreate since. "Daylight" is the first song I ever played for my parents. This EP introduced me to people who have since become precious. This EP opened the world to me. This EP made the dream real.

I released another two-song EP earlier this year. I've been working on a full-length album for a while, now. I don't know yet when it'll be complete. That will introduce its own adventure. But "Sword and Stone" will always have come first. I wrote uncountable songs before them, to be clear; I'd been writing songs for years. But the ones that breathe in the world, the ones attributed to Fate-Touched? These four came first. "Follow the Silver" and "Sword and Stone" and "Daylight" and "Madi's Lament" came first.

Give them a listen, if you haven't before. Give them a listen if you haven't in a while. Give them a listen just to humor me. You don't have to know much about the pirates. Taylor Swift spends a record-extending 70th week at No. 1 on the Billboard Artist 100 chart (dated July 1) thanks to nine albums on the latest Billboard 200 and three songs on the Billboard Hot 100.

On the Billboard 200, Swift’s 2022 LP Midnights ranks at No. 4 with 60,000 equivalent album units, according to Luminate, after spending six weeks at No. 1.

Notably, Speak Now rises 42-39 ahead of its new re-recorded Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), due July 7.

On the Hot 100, Swift charts with current Midnights single “Karma,” featuring Ice Spice (up 9-7), former eight-week leader “Anti-Hero” (holding at No. 12), and Lover cut, and new promoted single, “Cruel Summer” (39-18). “Cruel Summer” surpasses its original No. 29 peak in 2019 and becomes Swift’s 69th career top 20 hit, the second-most in the chart’s history, after Drake’s 116.

“Cruel Summer” is the Hot 100’s top Sales Gainer, as it bounds 32-10 on Digital Song Sales (3,000 sold, up 71%), to become Swift’s record-extending 84th top 10.

ATEEZ re-enters the Artist 100 at No. 3, a new high, thanks to the act’s new set The World EP.2 : Outlaw. The project debuts at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 (105,000 units), becoming the group’s highest charting album, and No. 1 on Top Album Sales.

Gunna re-enters the Artist 100 at No. 5, as his new LP — A Gift & A Curse — arrives at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 (85,000 units), becoming his fifth top 10. Eleven songs from the album land on the latest Hot 100, led by “Fukumean” and “Back to the Moon” at Nos. 16 and 29, respectively.

Plus, Queens of the Stone Age re-enter the Artist 100 at No. 7, returning to the chart for the first time since 2017, thanks to the group’s new LP In Times New Roman… The album debuts at No. 9 on the Billboard 200 (40,000 units), becoming the band’s fourth top 10.

The Artist 100 measures artist activity across key metrics of music consumption, blending album and track sales, radio airplay and streaming to provide a weekly multi-dimensional ranking of artist popularity.

Choi Haneul (최한얼), better known by the mononym Hana (하나), is a South Korean rapper-songwriter and record producer under Big Hit Music. She is a member in the co-ed group BTS, and has the positions of rapper alongside Suga, RM, and j-hope.

As a solo artist, she has released three self-produced digital singles, "NOBODY" in 2016 "Rain" in 2022 and two mini albums "ON/E" in 2016, "Killing Me Softly" in 2020 and "h" in 2022. She then made her official solo debut with her first studio album "HANA" on October 23, 2023.

Being the only female member in the group, Hana was not enlisted in the military and has since focused on solo career until further detail on BTS coming back.

Hana is set to make her first solo tour on November 2024 titled Choi Haneul | Hana.

Early Life

Choi Haneul was born on September 6, 1997, in Dunedin, New Zealand. Her family consists of her parents and a younger sister. She initially wanted to become an owner of a cafe in Seoul, but was later influenced to become a singer by watching Hyuna perform "Roll Deep" and "RED" on television, aspiring to be like her as well as BOA.

In 2011, Hana auditioned for the South Korean talent show Superstar K during its auditions in Dunedin. Though she was not selected, he received casting offers from three companies. She eventually chose to become a trainee under Big Hit Entertainment, however it is unknown as to why she that company to train under. She was well-liked amongst the company due to her dancing and rapping skills.

2015-present: BTS

On April 29, 2015, Hana made her debut as a member of BTS with the release of the mini album The Most Beautiful Moment in Life part 1 Under BTS, she released two solo tracks; the first was a pop track entitled "Never" on the 2016 album Wings and the second, an alt and rap track entitled "Zemblanity" on Love Yourself: Answer, follows Hana as she defines the ability to make expected, unlucky, and unhappy discoveries by design.

Hana (together with the rest of the BTS members) was ordained with the fifth-class Hwagwan Order of Cultural Merit by the President of South Korea. members of the group.

2016-present: Solo Activities

In June 2016, Hana released the song "NOBODY", for free on platforms such as YouTube.

On November 29, 2022,

Hana released the single "Rain" ahead of her first award show performance at the opening ceremony for the 2022 Mnet Asian Music Awards in Japan.

Belarus prepares to mass-produce the Su-25 attack aircraft

The Su-25 attack aircraft is not the most massive combat aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces, but in terms of importance in the combat line of contact and effectiveness in supporting the troops, the Su-25 is an indispensable attack weapon for frontline aviation.

According to several expert estimates, from 1980 to 1992, about 1,300 aircraft of all modifications were manufactured at the Tbilisi Aviation Factory. The attack aircraft participated in all the conflicts in which the Soviet or Russian armies were involved - from Afghanistan to the recent conflict in Ukraine.

The aircraft has not been produced for more than 30 years, but remains in service, in the process of modernization and equipped with modern means of navigation, guidance, electronic warfare and armament. The aircraft is in demand, but a replacement for it is not yet under development by aviation design offices, although the Su-34 or Yak-130 have been considered an alternative to the Su-25.

To replenish retired machines, it is necessary to resume their mass production. And Belarus comes up with this initiative. Dmitry Krutoy, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Russia, spoke about the prospects of the final assembly of the Su-25 in one of the republic's aircraft factories, as reported by the TRC "Belarus-1".

"The first tactical task is to load our factories by 2030 with this base of components in the areas that exist. In addition, the Prime Minister instructed to actively involve not only our two specialized companies directly in this story, but also Integral and Horizont. Here they should find their niche in the field of avionics, microcircuits, liquid crystal panels. They are also actively engaged in this now,” the ambassador noted.

The third and most difficult task, according to him, is to create the final assembly of any aircraft in Belarus. “Today, the Su-25 is under development. The relevant documentation is being studied and presented by the Russian side. But Prime Minister [Roman Golovchenko] still sets a more difficult task: from the assembly of aircraft engines - to the final assembly of aircraft. This, of course, is a supertask, a maximum task," said Dmitry Krutoy.

According to him, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov and his team will visit Belarus in the near future. "I think this topic will be discussed at the government level. This will be a real advance. And Belarus will move to a completely different level in the aeronautical industry in the coming years,” said Dmitry Krutoy.

The idea that queer and trans folks aren't welcome in Palestine is absolutely false. Multiple Gazans have talked about having trans or queer neighbors or friends and not blinking an eye. Obviously, mileage varies based on who you run into... just like it does in the good old US of A.

And? LGBTQ+ identities were openly and freely embraced before colonization fucked it up. Whether it's recent history or pre-colonization, this has been researched and well-documented.

This is just one reason why, when we have folks like Tom Daley calling for a ban on Olympians from countries who have both a history of experiencing colonization violence and struggling to undo that RE LGBTQ+ rights, it pisses me the fuck off.

If you do not know the history or the context, you're doing everyone a disservice.

Whether it's in Africa or the Middle East, w h i t e colonizers act like we're so much better than these countries - countries that did not generally have homophobia or transphobia until we entered and fucked them up.

Instead, we view them as "barbaric" and "savage" and all the other racist buzzwords.

Victoria Kishoiyian wrote a bit about this, specifically focused on Africa, for the Harvard Political Review in 2022:

52 Ancestors - Least Known

The nearest relative that I know the least about is my mother’s twin sister. The twin girls were born to my maternal grandparents, John Henry Willis, Jr. (1889-1917) and Arnita (Harris) Willis (1889-1980) on 29 March 1912. The twins may have been born prematurely. When I was a little girl my grandmother told me that the twins were so small that they were carried around on a feather pillow.

My mother said that she and her sister had rhyming names, Annis [pronounced Annice] and Bernice. I will refer to my mother’s twin as “Bernice” although the name has not been substantiated.

According to oral family history, the twins were in fragile health. In late November they contracted pneumonia. On 6 December 1912 at 5:00 AM “Bernice” died. When the family made burial arrangements, they had two graves dug. They fully expected that my mother, the other twin, would be dead by the time they returned from burying “Bernice”.

We all know the aphorism “Genealogy without documentation is mythology.” In that light, “Bernice” is almost a mythical person akin to a unicorn. The only primary source I have found for my mother’s twin sister is her death certificate.

Unfortunately the death certificate does not give her full name as specified on the form. Instead of her full name, she is recorded on the death certificate as “Infant Mr. & Mrs. J. H. Willis.”

The only other source is found in the register of burials for Magnolia Cemetery. The register does not list the full name of the deceased child. She is recorded as “Willis Inft of John H”.
