pretty good start today, managed to cross off some tasks and fix some of the wifi issues ive been having lately, also went to the book club meeting but didn't talk
citizenship: went over my seminar notes from last week and cleared them up
sociology of mental health: worked on the stuff from week 1 that i missed, took two hours to finish the notes for a one hour lecture because the lecturer talks so quick

so i went to my uni book club for the first time and we read jennette mccurdys memoir and like oh my god no one got it like i got it
#like it’s not that they didn’t understand it#it’s just that they didn’t understand it#like i don’t wanna make generalisations bc im sure someone out there will prove me wrong#but this is like the kind of book you can’t get unless you have a shit relationship with your mum#bc people would like sensationalise it and be so shocked about it like i can’t believe she did that#and it’s like well this is just like child abuse it’s not as shocking as you make it out to be it is in fact fairly common#and then they were like debating if people didn’t care enough to intervene in the abuse#and it’s like THATS NOT HOW ABUSE WORKS#you can try to intervene often people do but it’s so hard in these situations#YPU GUYS JUST DONT GET IT#JDKDIDHSIDNNDMD#andi posts into the void#28/10/2024
