ok i just need to fucking rant. I recently finished watching a full playthrough of MiSide. And i loved it, its such amazingly written horror, playing with what the player already expects going into it from the influence doki doki has had on that style of game. And i wanted to see art of it, angst, headcannons all of it. So i looked for the hashtag and it was fucking full of nsfw and sexual shit. And hey if thats how you enjoy media, thats how you enjoy it. BUT FOR ONCE IN THE INTERNETS GODDAMN FUCKING LIFE, COULD PPL PLEASE NOT JUST SEXUALIZE CHARACTERS AND ACTUALLY HAVE SOME AMOUNT OF RESPECT FOR THE MEANING OF THE GAME AND THE GAME ITSELF AND JUST GENERALLY HAVE A SHRED OF MEDIA LITERACY INSTEAD OF JUST GOING “haha theres one sexual joke im taking it and running” IM GONNA LOSE MY FUCKING MIND I SWEAR TO GOD.
