Incorrect, the fact that Biden has dropped out and a candidate with history of supporting medicare for all and being more receptive to a ceasefire in the I/P conflict has made me go from "I cannot morally support the Democratic nominee" to "I am voting for the Democratic nominee despite the fact she isn't perfect in every respect." I'm really happy this played out. The Dems for the most part abandoned the old Obama platform and it feels like its possible an actual progressive agenda could come to pass in my lifetime.

Coming up with ways for Jango to have way too many sons in aus is kinda fun tbh. I know the most common thing is just for him to have a big family and that's fine but ideally could be way weirder. Maybe all the sperm at the sperm bank got swapped with Jango's and there's a nationwide epidemic of mini Jangos. today i learned there is a patreon (free) that has audio files without the filter applied

so i downloaded 1 just to test and compare to see if im doing the filter right-ish... and yes i am.

its just that it never sounds right cause the clips from the stream already have a filter applied + are lower quality + I dont do the bitcrush effect (which makes it low quality on purpose) turns out that effect was a lot more important to the sound than i thought. but im still not doin all that lol

I wrote a whole meta piece about this yesterday that is presumably coherent but in further discussion just now it really does come down to this:

The general argument in favor of why villains should get third, fourth, and nineteenth chances for redemption is usually "well, they have trauma" and this is a terrible argument because trauma does not excuse hurting others like that and redemption is earned by stopping that bullshit. With that said:

99.9% of the time the weirdly and overly viciously maligned gray-area (if not outright heroic) characters the villain is causing problems for are also traumatized, and despite the trauma are not on that villain shit.

literally both the premise and the argument are wrong. how are you so bad at arguing that you get BOTH wrong. Like one or the other sure but BOTH?
