Advice & Lessons

Allow people to be people. Don’t keep them trapped under these expectations you have for them, it will only hurt you in the end. Allow yourself to be okay with people changing.

Kindness will make you confident. Idk but when I shifted the way I think to “I’m going to be kind to other people.“ that’s when I started feeling so much better & happier about myself.

Just because another person cannot see your value doesn’t mean it’s not there. Another person’s lack of awareness of your worth does not mean that it does not exist. They simply do not have the capability to fully comprehend the love you have in yourself.

It’s none of ya business! How other people treat you/ what they say about you is not about you & is none of your business. What is your responsibility however is to make sure that such low quality behaviour should not make you feel any worse about yourself. If you can’t do that, then it is your job to remove yourself from that situation.

Look for a good time, not a long time. I know we all want those long lasting 10 year+ friendships/ relationships, but that strong desperation you have for it is just self sabotaging yourself from the amazing memories you could make! When you meet a new person, go with the mindset that “I hope we have a good time today” and not “I want to find a best friend” because the other person cannot feel that desperation and it’s just unattractive. If you do make a really strong connection & become bffs, great! What’s meant to be will come easily once you take your obsession off it.

Always look at what’s good, and you’ll find that there’s more good in your life than you thought. Gratitude!! The more thankful you are for the things you have, the more the universe will send your way.

here's to the most chaotic beginning of 2025 where: all my footage of the fireworks had a parking sign right in front of it; my friend used a plate of shrimps to support her phone when we were taking selfies; and i slept a total of 3 hours because i spent most of the early morning worried about my mom because she accidentally put her phone on silent mode and wasn't answering to any of my calls lmao asdfghjkl anyway, cheers, everybody! 🥂💕 i hope 2025 is kind and warm to you all!

Looking back on 2024, I realize that it has been a deep and thorough process for me. I don’t know if it’s just me, but the year felt like it went by both fast and slow at the same time. So much has happened in what feels like no time at all, and it’s honestly been hard to sit down and sort through everything—everything I’ve experienced, learned, and endured. 

If I had to sum it up, I’d say 2024 was a mess for me, but it was one of those beautiful messes. Life kinda… threw me into the fire—whether it was through challenging situations at the university I atttend, the people I’ve met, or the events that unfolded (personally, academically, or even on social media). Challenge after challenge kept coming, and there were moments I seriously doubted I’d make it through. 

But somehow, here I am, stronger for it. 

On top of everything, I’ve had to take a big step back from social media this year. I just needed to escape the constant chaos and take time for myself—time to enjoy being me and write at my own pace. Honestly, with all the writing events and prompts I’ve been doing, I’ve realized just how much I really hate writing with deadlines. Deadlines and I? We’ve never been a great match, even though I always try forcing it though, lol. It’s always a struggle to get everything done on time, and it just adds so much pressure. It’s like I’m constantly worried I’m not living up to what I promised I could do. Too much stress, you know?

As much as I love writing, deadlines definitely suck the fun out of it for me. But on the bright side, I do love writing one-shots. So, after giving it some thought, I’ve decided I probably won’t join many writing events in 2025—except for the Halloween one I’m doing with my sister. 

But anything other than that? Nah. 

I’ve got a ton of other projects I need to focus on and actually finish, so I really need to buckle down and get really serious about them.

TecC in 2024: Despite being in a busy schedule, I managed to dive into 14 amazing games, unlocking 28 achievements and earning 595 Gamerscore across 67 hours of playtime. 🎮✨

From strategizing in Age of Empires Definitive Edition (my #1 game this year) to surviving the post-apocalyptic world in Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition, every moment was unforgettable. 💥 Whether I was building empires, exploring galaxies in The Callisto Protocol, or racing through Forza Motorsport, each game kept the adrenaline pumping and the passion alive.

Gaming isn’t just a hobby; it’s an adventure where every session brings a new challenge, a new world to explore, and new milestones to conquer.
