 Sonic X Shadow Generations downloadable content “Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Movie Pack” will launch on December 12, 2024. It will be included in the game’s Digital Deluxe edition

The downloadable content will allow players to take on a new look as Shadow and play through a unique level inspired by the movie Sonic the Hedgehog 3, featuring the voice of Keanu Reeves as Shadow.

Sonic X Shadow Generations will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store) on October 25, 2024.

It's time for my autistic ass to gush about the new Sonic the hedgehog 3 (2024) movie trailer!!!

Our precious blue boi is still precious as ever, I know that this is gonna turn off some fans because Sonic Adventure 2 is a dark story, but Sonic in the mainline games can still be silly and precious.

We got another recreation scene of the end credits for Sonic the hedgehog 2 (2022) of Shadows eyes opening, which looks way more better.

Here we have a full look at shadow and... MARIA!?! The. Moment in the trailer is pretty wholesome, and I'll probably seen some fan artists drawing this scene. (If only if we got a moment of Maria dying like you sick fricks wanted)

Our precious bois are back and they're ready to kick some edgy ass!!!!

I can tell right now, Movie Shadow is gonna be a Tumblr Sexyman someday. The voice, I'm a little mixed about it. But hey, We might get a "Whoa..." Coming out of Shadow's mouth.

Also I accidentally paused which resulted in Sonic's face looking like this. I love it.

And in the trailer, Robotnik appears happily slapping his belly, I was hoping that Movie Robotnik was gonna get a fat suit so he can have more Eggman features. He also still has the MST3K banter with Agent Stone.

GERALD ROBOTNIK!?! He gives his son a hug at the end of the trailer, it's cute, aside from the fact that it's robotnik, who only loves robots (and to some extent, Agent Stone)

Jim Carrey is back, and in multiple roles no less, in the first trailer for Paramount Pictures’ Sonic the Hedgehog 3.

Although he has repeatedly stated since 2022 that he is ready to retire from acting, Carrey returned for Sonic the Hedgehog 3, reprising his role from the first two movies as Dr. Ivo “Eggman” Robotnik. However, the official trailer for the hotly-anticipated sequel, which sees Team Sonic reluctantly teaming up with Robotnik, also revealed that Carrey will play a second character, Robotnik’s grandfather, Professor Gerald Robotnik.

Who is Sonic the Hedgehog 3’s Gerald Robotnik?

Professor Gerald Robotnik first appeared in the 2001 video game Sonic Adventure 2, where it was revealed that he led Project Shadow, a medical and military research program conducted by the United Federation around fifty years ago. The goal was to create the ultimate weapon and immortality, with Robotnik hoping that whatever came out of the project could help cure his granddaughter Maria’s illness. Shadow the Hedgehog is the result of that project.

It remains to be seen how much Sonic the Hedgehog 3 adapts Sonic Adventure 2, although the trailer does feature Shadow bonding with a young girl played by Alyla Browne, who could be Maria Robotnik. Keanu Reeves (The Matrix, John Wick) is set to voice Shadow, who was previously teased at the end of Sonic the Hedgehog 2.

Ben Schwartz returns as the voice of Sonic the Hedgehog, with Colleen O’Shaughnessey and Idris Elba also back as the voices of Miles “Tails” Prower and Knuckles the Echidna, respectively. Besides Carrey, the live-action cast for Sonic the Hedgehog 3 includes returning stars James Marsden as Tom Wachowski, Tika Sumpter as Maddie Wachowski, Natasha Rothwell as Rachel, Lee Majdoub as Agent Stone, Tom Butler as Commander Walters, Adam Pally as Wade Whipple, and Shemar Moore as Randall Handel, as well as Krysten Ritter as Director Rockwell.

Directed by Jeff Fowler from a screenplay written by Pat Casey, Josh Miller, and John Whittington, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is set to hit theaters on December 20, 2024.

New Keanu Reeves DLC! | Tuesday, 09.24.24

This is not a joke, guys.

According to Geoff Keighley, Keanu Reeves will not only portray Shadow in the upcoming Sonic 3 movie, but will also voice Shadow in Sonic X Shadow Generations in an all-new DLC pack releasing on Thursday, December 12, 2024.

And yes, Ian Flynn will write out his dialogue when recording him voice in the game after it releases on Friday, October 25 worldwide.
