Documenting the Pandemic : 1 Second Everyday App

One year ago, I downloaded the 1 Second Everyday App and filmed 1 second of my day, (almost) every single day! (On the few days I forgot, I just added a photo of the day instead).

I started 2020 by going on a week-long cruise contract to Mexico and thought I'd be enjoying another year of whirlwind travel and adventure.

Little did I know I'd be documenting a global pandemic, BLM protests, political drama, a front tooth injury, and a whole lot of dogs (my day job). My boyfriend and I also did 5 months of long distance through all the craziness, and managed to escape to nature on some quick local road trips.

I decided to continue filming 1 second every day in 2021. Here's to hoping it goes a lot better than 2020!

Mari mengingat udah ngelakuin apa aja di tahun 2020!

Januari Hectic awal kepengurusan, proker pertama BEM FTI berarti proposal pertama untukku juga. LKMM Pra-TD XVII lumayan petjah si, awal kepengurusan ini juga masih nggak stabil lebih banyak mindernya takut salah dan kurang cakap. Jadi pemateri bareng Fahri juga di kelas besar dan berakhir nangis di Lantai 2 Fisika karena ngerasa nggak maksimal dan timpang banget. 

Februari Udah mulai ROG an lagi hehe, bantuin Dagri ke lapangan. Hampir sering pulang malam karena beres-beres dulu, nggak tega kalo ninggal staf sendirian. Bulan ini juga kalo nggak salah pergi ke Yogyakarta buat pelatihan Leadership Development Beswan Djarum 2019/2020. Take me back enak banget nginep di hotel, asupan makanan selalu ada, walau ga tidur pas nyiapin presentasi. 

Maret Ada yang ultah nih haha, dan aku nya ngambek. Besoknya arak-arakan terakhir sebelum lockdown:( Masih sempet malemnya jaga bendera bentar, ditemenin mas regus makan juga, trus nginep di kos hotna ini dadakan banget wkwkwk

Agustus Alhamdulillah keterima PMMB di Petrokimia Gresik. Suweneng pol! Akhirnya nambah uang jajan tapi juga belajar. Ini salah satu hal yang syukuri padahal aku nggak minta, Allah memang buaik pol. 

September My birthday! Nggak kaya birthday ditahun 2019, karena keadaannya beda. IG lagi deactive dan pengingat ultah di line juga uda di hide, jadi cuma orang-orang yang deket dan inget ultahku yang ngucapin. Tapi itu udah lebih dari cukup, senang sekali!

Oktober Kayanya ini ngumpuin Laporan KP! Akhirnya kelar bund:)

Desember Akhirnya magang offline, terwujud juga impian ke petrokimia gresik, pengalaman baru ngekos dan keliling tanpa arah di kota orang sendirian, ketemu orang baru yang super baik. Makin gendut karena dikantor selalu ada aja jajan kalo ga pentol, gorengan, nasi kotak, jajan kotak yang ada logo petro nya. Bulan ini juga hectic parah karena deadline dimana-mana. Ada rencana mau nulis buku sama Pak Nanda well see bismillah. TA sek digarap.  Banyak banget memori yang belum tertuang, entah lupa atau udah cukup banyak hehe. 2020 is beyond expectation. Aku up and down di tahun ini, banyak nangis juga, deactive ig. Bismillah kedepan semoga lebih baik ya, semangat!

Well... 2020 was a thing. 😬

Funny enough, this is the best I’ve felt in years.

This year I started taking Wellbutrin

Started exercising 2 weeks ago

Been showering every day

No naps

Got my binge eating under control (mostly)

Started a clean slate online that I intend to foster for a long time

Started animating

Going on hikes occasionally

Talking to strangers more

Regaining a little bit of lost confidence

Started making art again (still pretty inconsistent though)

I’ve been writing the same thing for more than a month and I hope to actually finish it.

And you know what? I’m not doing great most days, I still have nausea in the morning and I still get panicky when I’m alone. My thoughts are still pretty erratic and I still don’t have many friends.

But people would ask me how I’m doing and I’d say “fine” and this winter is the first time I’ve been able to say “I’m fine” without it being a complete lie.

I am fine. Maybe I’ll get even finer.
