i first joined tiktok in 2018 (hit or miss, tracer, rockafeller dance era) and first of all, i miss that era so much. It was so fun. second, i just saw a video of like all the sounds put together as a throwback and the nightcore rockafeller street song was on there and i remember the entire dance to the chorus to this day.

so yeah. tiktok 2018 was the prime era actually and i'll die on this hill.

adding to the list from earlier I said about things I believe could send LU Warriors into a coma or just kill him directly: The whole James Charles/Shane Dawson/Jeffree Star thing. Like not just the controversy analysis videos, all of it. The actual drama and watching it in real time. The mere idea of everything that went down would probably put him in a coma, and the Jeffree Star apology video with the expensive ass couch would send him to the grave immediately

that being said i think he and legend would together go through and rank a bunch of youtuber apology videos and keep the list accessible for years and years so they can always go through and add all the new ones that come in

this is a hateful and un-healed thought but back in 2018 when i was a butch lesbian in high school, another girl (at the time) in the grade below me told me they heard that in middle school i didn't shave my legs & that i had "hairy man-legs." (this was true; i have never shaved my legs.) they went up to me at lunchtime once specifically to tell me this and have a good laugh. this person identified as a feminist at the time. a couple years later they transitioned to nonbinary and made this (garish, derivative) feminist art installation about womanhood or whatever. something something lived experiences, something something mainstream feminist movements will always fail gender nonconforming women and girls

Raph’s music taste hasn’t changed much from canon, he still likes soul music. He and April has karaoke nights a few times a week, and sometimes Splinter even joins them! He likes something a bit more upbeat when exercising, so he also likes to listen to rap, timing his lifts with the beats

Donnie also still likes techno, something lyric-less as to not distract his thinking, but strong beats to head bop to when doing important projects. But when he’s doing something fun like siphoning money from billionaires and hacking the street cams to people watch, he’ll play broadway musicals and sing along to it

Lee likes classical music and salsa, something he usually listens during his routine dance classes each week. He also have a separate playlist with glamrock songs and this kind of music he only plays in the comfort of his room. Relaxing around in his favourite comfy hoodies

Mikey likes to listen to hip hop music when he’s out doing his graffiti art, something with a rhythmic beat and lyrics he can mouth along to. During meditation sessions, he likes to listen to ghibli music, something he found out during one of his missions to the surface. He doesn’t really like the silence, it makes him jittery and lost his focus
