When the International Boxing Hall of Popularity prepared the tallies to send out to electors in 2015 there were a lot of top quality prospects qualified to be included for the very first time that rather than consisting of only 3 brand-new names– the standard– to change the 3 that are chosen each year in the modern-day fighter group, 5 names were contributed to broadening the tally from 30 to 32 previous competitors. The Hall of Popularity did not have that concern this year, changing to the normal 3 brand-new names being contributed to the tally with none took into consideration a lock– as there generally remains in many years. Showing up on the tally for the very first time this year are previous bantamweight as well as junior lightweight globe champ Rafael Marquez, previous lightweight globe titlist Chris John as well as previous three-time incredibly middleweight globe titleholder Mikkel Kessler. They show up on the tally in the modern-day group, which is for competitors whose last spell was no earlier than1989 To be qualified, competitors need to not have actually boxed for a minimum of 5 years. Complete participants of the Boxing Writers Organization of America, as well as a panel of worldwide boxing chroniclers, have an Oct. 31 due to date to return their tallies to the Hall of Popularity, which will certainly introduce the cause December. Citizens can pick approximately 5 competitors yet just 3 will certainly be chosen with the 30 th yearly induction events arranged to occur on June 9 at the Canastota, New York city temple. Mexico’s Marquez (41 -9, 37 KOs), the more youthful sibling of shoe-in Hall of Famer Juan Manuel Marquez, that will certainly be qualified for the tally following year, shows up to have the greatest situation for political election amongst the triad this year’s novices. He boxed from 1995 to 2013 as well as though he shed his expert launching, he took place to have a leading bantamweight title power from 2003 to 2007 as well as later on participated in a legendary four-fight collection with Israel Vazquez that generated 2 battles of the year. He was likewise 8-6 versus titleholders as well as Hall of Famers. Also prior to Marquez won his initial globe title he racked up 2 significant success versus Hall of Famer Mark “Too Sharp” Johnson, winning a split choice versus him in their initial battle in 2001 and after that knocked him out in the 8th round of their prompt rematch in 2002. They battled 3 successive battles versus each various other in remarkable quarrels. Vazquez exacted vengeance to restore the title in the 2nd battle when he quit Marquez in the 6th round and after that Vazquez won a split choice to maintain the title 3rd battle in 2008. The 2nd, as well as 3rd battles, were both the ESPN.com battles of the year for 2007 as well as 2008 as well as the only factor the initial battle really did not win was due to the fact that it remained in the very same year as the 2nd battle. Marquez ended up the collection by knocking senseless the discolored Vazquez in the 3rd round to also the collection at 2-2 in 2010 in his last remarkable success prior to shutting his profession by going 2-4 in his last 6 rounds, consisting of not successful obstacles for featherweight as well as junior lightweight globe titles. Kessler (46 -3, 35 KOs), the “Viking Warrior,” that boxed from 1998 to 2013 as well as is thought about by numerous to be the most effective expert fighter to find out of Denmark, won variations of the incredibly middleweight globe title 4 times as well as was 7-3 versus titleholders as well as Hall of Famers.
He won his initial belt by quiting Manny Siaca in the 7th round in 2004 as well as protected it 4 times, a power in which he beat previous titleholders Anthony Mundine (when driving in Australia) as well as Eric Lucas, Markus Beyer in a marriage battle as well as leading challenger Librado Andrade. After that he satisfied fellow titleholder Joe Calzaghe in Wales for 168- extra pound preeminence in a marriage battle prior to greater than 50,000 in2007 It was just one of the largest battles in department background as well as Kessler shed a clear choice. He would certainly take place to win an additional title yet in his initial spell of the Super 6 Globe Boxing Standard– a six-man round-robin event including the most effective of the department– he was coached by Andre Ward in an 11 th-round technological choice loss in2009 In his following battle he racked up a substantial win by outpointing Carl Froch to win an additional title in2010 He after that took out from the event as a result of an eye injury. He at some point went back to win 3 battles straight, consisting of asserting an additional title, prior to shedding a choice to Froch in a 2013 rematch for a globe title, after which he retired. John (48 -1 -3, 22 KOs), called “The Dragon,” boxed from 1998 to 2013 as well as came to be a nationwide hero in his house nation of Indonesia. He held a lightweight globe title from 2004 to 2013 as well as made 18 title defenses, though he was just 3-1 versus titleholders or Hall of Famers. Throughout his lengthy power, his most remarkable success came versus Juan Manuel Marquez, Derrick Gainer as well as Rocky Juarez prior to he was uncrowned by sixth-round ko in his last battle by Simpiwe Vetyeka. The holdovers on the 32- male modern-day tally are Yuri Arbachakov, Paulie Ayala, Nigel Benn, Ivan “Iron Young Boy” Calderon, Sot Chitalada, Donald Curry, Chris Eubank Sr., Leo Gamez, Ricky Hatton, Genaro Hernandez, Julian Jackson, Santos Laciar, Rocky Lockridge, Miguel “Delighted” Lora, James “Pal” McGirt, Henry Maske, Darius Michalczewski, Sung-Kil Moon, Michael Moorer, Orzubek “Gussie” Nazarov, Sven Ottke, Vinny Pazienza, Gilberto Roman, Gianfranco Rosi, Samuel Serrano, Meldrick Taylor, Fernando Vargas, Wilfredo Vazquez Sr. as well as Ratanapol Sor Vorapin. TV Hits, 2001
Raising Hell!
Charmed Exposé. Whether she was a wicked witch or not is a matter of dispute, but the fact remains Shannen Doherty is out and a new rose is going to bloom on Charmed.
Shannen's shock departure from Charmed was one of TV's best-kept secrets. Until a few months ago there was an unspoken rule among the Charmed chicks that they were to publicly appear the best of friends.
When TV HITS caught up with Shannen earlier this year she said, "The chemistry between us is good and the audience can relate to us."
Now it seems the public was being charmed by the show's star into believing everything was OK when, in fact, all hell was breaking loose.
After directing the finale to the third series, Shannen split from the show amid rumours both she and co-star Alyssa Milano had issued 'her or me' ultimatums. One had to go, and Shannen was out the door.
Tumblr media
Poor on-set relations had been bubbling away in the Charmed cauldron for a long time. A US newspaper investigating the spat quoted a source close to the set as saying, "The truth is most people couldn't wait to get rid of her."
"She thinks of herself as amajor television star and her big head always gets her in trouble," another set insider revealed. "She was the same way on Beverly Hills 90210."
Far from being upset by what appeared to be an unceremonious dumping, Shannen has lashed out, revealing that she asked to be released from the show late last year and she felt creatively unsatisfied with what Charmed offered.
"I just didn't want to be a part of it," she says. "I'm 30 years old and I don't have time for drama in my life any more. I'm really focused and I just want to do good work and prove my ability as an actress. I wasn't able to do that on that show."
Rather than blaming Alyssa, a surprisingly diplomatic Shannen has so far refused to name names when it comes to her on-set conflics.
"I don't want to work with people who bitch about their job and complain about it and say that they hate it or anything else," she says.
As for the rumours that her temper had prompted her ousting from the show, Shannen says she's not fazed.
"It adds to the whole mystery of my career," she says. "It certainly didn't hurt me after 90210 that there were rumours floating around. It won't really affect me now."
She could be right. Shannen has already been cast in the feature film Another Day, being produced by highly-respected director Francis Ford Coppola. She's also rumoured to be joining Buffy the Vampire Slayer as an occasional guest star.
"I've never felt more satisfied, calm, at peace and excited in my entire life," she says. "It's exciting, taking a huge risk. To go into the unknown is unbelievably exciting because I can do anything I want to."
Tumblr media
Replacing someone as popular as Shannen was always going to be a thorny issue, but a new Rose will soon bloom on Charmed.
A couple of years spent engaged to shock-rocker Marilyn Manson gave quirky actress Rose McGowan a taste for all things supernatural.
The 25-year-old actress, who starred in Scream and Jawbreaker, didn't hesitate to sign on as Shannen's replacement for the fourth series.
And far from recruiting someone less volatile than the notoriously moody Shannen, the show's producers have scored another livewire!
"I find myself to be very calamitous person, but not a dramatic person," says Rose, whose background is littered with more than a little tragedy – including the murder of a boyfriend and the suicide of her best friend.
"I'm not a drama queen. I do experience these horrible highs and lows, but I tend to find stablilty within the ups and downs."
While rumours were rife that Rose – now dating Remember the Titans and Driven's Kip Pardue – would simply step into Shannen's character, Prue Halliwell, to ensure the show's Power of Three remains intact, Charmed mastermind Aaron Spelling is now playing with several other ideas.
Aaron has revealed one of those ideas includes opening a new chapter of Halliweell history – a la Buffy the Vampire Slayer – by introducing Rose as "the long-lost little sister Alyssa [Phoebe] and Holly Marie [Piper] never knew they had... no-one even knew she existed."
Tumblr media
While Sabrina, the Teenage Witch star Soleil Moon Frye, former Beverly Hills 90210-er Tiffani Thiessen, Wild Things' Denise Richards and even Jennifer Love Hewitt were all in the running for the new role, it seems Rose was the ideal choice to play a brave heroine on the show.
Even without super witch powers, Rose clearly has what it takes to battle baddies. Not long ago she witnessed an old lady getting her bag snatched on a busy street. Rather than standing by and watching, quick-thinking Rose chased the robbers and grabbed their licence plate number, before returning to the scene of the crime and comforting the victim until police arrived.
If she can do that without even batting an eyelid, chances are that for Rose, dusting the odd demon with a super-spell shouldn't be a problem either!

Tumblr media Tumblr media
Utahraptor is known from the Yellow Cat and Poison Strip members of the Cedar Mountain Formation
Tumblr media
Physical Description: Utahraptor was a very large raptor dinosaur, and had the associated bodily characteristics - a bulky trunk, shorter legs, long arms, large head, and long, stiffened tail. It was really and truly huge, about 7 meters long and 500 kilograms in weight - about the size of a modern Grizzley or Polar Bear, though they might have been heavier than previously thought. Like other raptors, it had huge sickle claws on its feet, and the claws were probably around 24 centimeters long - or even longer, if they had been covered in a keratin sheath as potentially thought. The skull of Utahraptor has not yet been described, so for now we can only say that it had a long, triangular head like other raptors, with sharp serrated teeth. As with other raptors, it would have been feathered - with very large wings for flapping, and a distinctively huge tail fan. The legs of Utahraptor would have been slightly less feathered, but still distinctive. In short, it was a big and fluffy bird-bear, and the largest predator in its environment.

Diet: Utahraptor was a large predator and, accordingly, ate large sources of food such as ornithopods and younger sauropods.
Tumblr media
By PaleoNeolitic, in the Public Domain
Behavior: As a raptor, Utahraptor would have been most analogous to a cat - probably stalking alone rather than in packs, and utilizing ambush behavior to trap its prey. Since it had somewhat stubby legs and wasn’t very fast at all, it couldn’t have relied on pursuit to attack its food, even if its food was just as slow as it was. Instead, these powerful legs helped Utahraptor to jump onto its food and surprise it, even from the ground where it spent its time. It then could use raptor prey restraint (RPR) to stay balanced on the prey, flapping its wings rapidly as the prey moved around and tried to escape. Those impossibly large sickle claws then were used to strategically stab at places where the prey would bleed out - important veins and arteries - rather than slash. In addition to this, Utahraptor would have been able to flap its wings rapidly and run up steep surfaces - a technique called Wing-Assisted Inclined Running (WAIR) -  even vertical ones, like cliff faces and trees. This allowed Utahraptor to reach strategic vantage points and search for prey - and even jump down onto it from high heights. These techniques allowed Utahraptor to not only hunt the similarly-sized Ornithopods of the time, but also potentially attack the even larger Sauropods with which it shared its home. When it needed a smaller snack, that large claw could be used to pin down struggling furry mammals and lizards, in order for Utahraptor to then take a bite.
Tumblr media
By Fred Wierum, CC By-SA 4.0
Though Utahraptor did not hunt in packs, that doesn’t mean it wasn’t social - and, indeed, there is considerable evidence not yet described that it lived in dense family groups. This would probably mean that adult Utahraptor would go out hunting on their own, while the little ones would gather their own food, before coming together in the same space for safety from other Utahraptor and just to spend the night. It is very likely that Utahraptor took care of its own young based on its relatives - and there’s hopefully more evidence on the way to corroborate this. This was a very complex social animal, using those fancy wings and tail fan to display to other Utahraptor - by holding up the wings and lifting the tail fan to display, it could communicate with others that it was a threat, that it wanted to mate, or to stay away from its nest. In general, it would have behaved very bird-like - walking around, bobbing its head, and moving its head to look for food and for each other rather than moving the eyes. And, like birds, it would have been very active, and warm-blooded.
Tumblr media
By Ashley Patch
Ecosystem: When the Cedar Mountain Formation supported Utahraptor, it was a very large floodplain environment, that periodically flash flooded and filled the valley with mud. This was a seasonally wet environment with a variety of rivers, forests, prairies, and open woodlands. The ecosystem had a short wet system and a very long, tedious dry season. Utahraptor shared this environment with countless creatures - the tuataran Toxolophosaurus, the turtle Glyptops, a variety of fish, the mammaliaform Cifelliodon, and - of course - other dinosaurs. There was the ankylosaur Gastonia, the large Iguanodon-like Ornithopods Cedrorestes, Hippodraco, and Iguanacolossus; the Sauropods Cedarosaurus and Mierasaurus; the Therizinosaurs Martharaptor and Falcarius; the Troodontid Geminiraptor; the Ornithomimosaur Nedcolbertia; and another raptor - Yurgovuchia! This gave Utahraptor a wide variety of things to hunt in its environment.

By the time of the later Poison Strip environment, things were changing rapidly in Cedar Mountain. Dry seasons were longer now, and a significant amount of sand was washing through the ecosystem. This made life higher in the floodplain, and probably eliminated many of the forests and river-woods that had been present prior to, leaving only a somewhat scrubland-esque plain. Accordingly, creature diversity actually went down - it was something of an ecosystem collapse. There was still food for Utahraptor to eat - the Ornithopod Planicoxa, and the sauropods Moabosaurus and Venenosaurus; but that was it. Utahraptor, thus, was living in a miniature extinction event - and disappears from the environment by the time the mud and rainy seasons returned in the Ruby Ranch Environment, and the large predator niche was replaced by the carnosaur Acrocanthosaurus.

Other: Utahraptor was the largest raptor known, and we actually have many fossils of it - but they’re trapped in a block! Well, there isn’t funding to remove them from the block, anyway. So much more could be (and will be, dammit!) written about this excellent dinosaur if it was adequately funded to be researched properly. Check out the Utahraptor Project if you want to learn more about Utahraptor - and consider donating! Literally every penny helps. Utahraptor is also one of the inspirations for the raptors of Jurassic Park, along with Deinonychus - though, obviously, those creatures do not resemble their real counterparts in the slightest.

the ones i mark as “favorite” just have some aspect of them that im especially drawn to; like the forest scene in ivan’s childhood or the cinnamon toffee of mother of george. my favorite overall was maybe the world of us, which reminded me a lot of my own childhood; and i liked the way the camera stuck to the main character in certain scenes. i also liked long day’s journey into night bc all it takes to impress me is a floaty camera and long takes.
all the movies i rewatched i already liked, except for touch of evil, which i watched bc the opportunity presented itself to me and i wanted to see if i still found it as boring as the first time i saw it nearly ten years ago in my high school film class, and the answer is yes i still don’t like it lmao. take care of my cat was still a nice watch though; i also watched jeong jae-eun’s 2017 film butterfly sleep, but it’s not listed bc i stopped watching after 15 minutes; it was a nope from me.
watching a borrowed life and early hou, i could guess a little what wu nien-jen wanted dust in the wind to be: the personal voice-over hou did for the time to live and the time to die; the relatively straightforward adaptation of chu tien-wen’s script for a summer at grandpa’s. in the mood for love is still a juggernaut lol; i like it for many of the same reasons i like the assassin.

Géneros, clasificaciones y duraciones del vídeo.

Few things leave a deeper mark on a reader than the first book that finds its way into his heart. Those first images, the echo of words we think we have left behind, accompany us throughout our lives and sculpt a palace in our memory to which, sooner or later—no matter how many books we read, how many worlds we discover, or how much we learn or forget—we will return.

Task Force Sword is the United States special operations forces composite grouping which has pursued terrorist high-value targets in Afghanistan and Iraq since October 2001. Initially it operated under the United States Joint Special Operations Command in Afghanistan searching for senior Taliban and al-Qaeda leaders. This particular group contains a selection of skilled Army Rangers. The grouping has been redesignated multiple times to avoid information leakages, including Task Force 11, Task Force 6-26, Task Force 121, and Task Force 145 with one of its most recently recorded names being Task Force 88.

LIEUTENANT HENRY MORGAN MORALES GARCIA                                KILL COUNT: 90 CONFIRMED, 20 UNCONFIRMED
Lieutenant Henry ‘Maverick’ Garcia has sixteen years of combat experience. He was kidnapped by the Guatemalan Armed Forces when he was eight and forced to serve as a child soldier during the Guatemalan Civil War. At the end of the war in 1996, Henry was blackmailed into joining the United States military, at the offer of allowing his wife to become a citizen.           For four years, Henry served as a solitary mercenary, but was selected to be part of Task Force Sword upon its formation. Henry is an extremely skilled tactician and leader due to his military experience, and as such he was placed as the leader of TFS. He is also an explosives expert.           He was honorably discharged from the military around the same time as Tim, due to a wound he received in the spine. Though he was not paralyzed, Henry suffers permanent nerve damage.

SERGEANT MAJOR FREDERIC MIKOLAJ CHOPIN                                      KILL COUNT: 30 CONFIRMED, 20 UNCONFIRMED
Sergeant Major Frederic ‘Punisher’ Chopin has ten years of combat experience. Freddie enlisted in the military as soon as he was able to, using his drunk father’s signature on the enlistment forms. After his first tour, Freddie tried out for the Army Rangers, which he was accepted into after an arduous training process.          Freddie served eight years in the military before he was selected for Task Force Sword upon its formation in 2001. Freddie is an extremely skilled hand-to-hand combatant due to his size and his experience, and is known as the brawler in TFS.          He was honorably discharged from the military after the rest of Task Force Sword when sent on a shady mission with the new members of the group. What he’d seen and done had driven him near to the point of insanity, and as such, Freddie was deemed useless and discharged.

SERGEANT FIRST CLASS JONATHAN RENATO RUIZ DANIELS                                  KILL COUNT: 15 CONFIRMED, 10 UNCONFIRMED
Sergeant First Class Jonathan ‘Cowboy’ Daniels has eight years of combat experience. Jack enlisted in the military when he was twenty years old. Due to his excellent marksmanship and overall skill, Jack was accepted into the Army Rangers after a few years in service. There, he was given the opportunity to become a pilot, primarily helicopters.          Jack served six years in the military before he was selected for Task Force Sword upon its formation in 2001. Jack is a skilled marksman and pilot. Not only is he able to fly helicopters with precision, but fighter aircrafts, bombers and ground vehicles, such as tanks, as well.           Jack was honorably discharged from the military after Tim Gutterson received the near fatal sniper shot to his head. He was able to do so because he had served the four year period that he had signed up for, and simply did not reenlist.

SERGEANT FIRST CLASS MARCUS DAL HALL                                                                KILL COUNT: 0
Sergeant First Class Marcus ‘Saint Mark’ Hall has eight years of combat experience. Mark enlisted in the military as soon as he was eighteen. Despite the urge of escapism leading him to serving his country, Mark considered himself non-violent and after great philosophical debate with a recruiter, Mark became a medic instead of an enlisted man.        Mark served five years in the military before he was selected for Task Force Sword upon its formation in 2001. Mark is an extremely skilled medic, as well as having excellent hand-to-hand combat skills, though he refuses to harm someone to the point of fatal injury.          Mark was honorably discharged from the military soon after Jack and Tim left when he was  involved in a humvee accident where a piece of shrapnel got caught in his leg, effectively severing nerves and permanently damaging the muscles therein. Mark is now addicted to opioids due to the injury and the VAs lack of care regarding substance use disorder.

SERGEANT TIMOTHY WILLIAM GUTTERSON                                   KILL COUNT: 100 CONFIRMED, 65 UNCONFIRMED
Sergeant Timothy ‘Guts’ Gutterson has six years of combat experience. Tim enlisted in the military when he was seventeen years old, foraging his father’s signature. Despite a lack of experience with weapons, Tim excelled in marksmanship and was quickly known and given awards for his numerous sniper kills.            Tim served four years in the military before he was selected for Task Force Sword upon its formation in 2001. Tim is one of the most highly decorated snipers in United States military history, and as such he was an incredibly useful part of TFS, excellent at sharpshooting and collecting intel.            Tim was honorably discharged from the military after he received a near fatal sniper shot to his head in the line of duty. He suffers from cluster headaches and emotional regulation issues due to his wound.

New Post has been published on https://pba-live.com/this-is-beyond-question-the-best-pba-draft-class-ever/
This is beyond question the best PBA Draft Class ever
Tumblr media
SINCE it was organized in 1985, the Rookie Draft has given the PBA a constant flow of new ability which could either be a structure obstruct for solid groups, however more often than not a future-adjusting expansion for lower-level groups.
In any case, feeble or solid, PBA groups go into the draft with one dream: land that once-in-an age player that can modify the course of an establishment.
There were Benjie Paras of Formula Shell in 1989 and Allan Caidic for Great Taste two years sooner. There, as well, were Marlou Aquino for Ginebra in 1996 and, most as of late, June Mar Fajardo of San Miguel in the 2012 draft.
And afterward there were whole draft classes that changed the fortunes of one group as well as caused an influence move in the alliance.
So a long time since the PBA held its first draft with Sonny Cabatu developing as the top pick in general by Shell, we analyzed every single draft class to pick the best and the most profound among them.
1989 PBA Draft
Top Pick: Benjie Paras (Shell)
Newbie of the Year/Season MVP: Benjie Paras (Shell)
First Rounders: Benjie Paras, Nelson Asaytono, Zaldy Realubit, Bong Alvarez, Romy dela Rosa, Bobby Jose
Succeeding Picks: Dindo Pumaren, Elmer Cabahug, Nani Demegillo, Ricric Marata, Peter Aguilar, Ato Agustin
Top pick Benjie Paras looked bound for significance from the time he featured for the San Beda Red Cubs in the NCAA youngsters. Be that as it may, “The Tower of Power” surpassed those desires by turning into the alliance’s solitary tenderfoot MVP.
However, he wasn’t the main pearl in his group.
Nelson Asaytono, the No. 2 pick, built up a notoriety for being one of the alliance’s head gifts in his stops in Purefoods, Sunkist, and San Miguel. He finished a long profession at No. 5 in the association’s record-breaking scoring list with 12,668 focuses.
Third pick Bong Alvarez won the Comeback Player of the Year twice and earned a Mr. Quality Minutes qualification over his spells in Alaska, Sta. Lucia, Shell, San Miguel, and Ginebra. He once scored a then-record 71 focuses in one game.
The 1989 group additionally conveyed the main second rounder to win a MVP grant as Ato Agustin stowed the top individual plum in 1992 for San Miguel. He proceeded to have a long, fruitful vocation over the PBA and MBA.
At the point when you talk about this bunch, you don’t stop with these four. First-rounders Zaldy Realubit, Romy dela Rosa and Bobby Jose just as second-rounders Dindo Pumaren, Ricric Marata, Elmer Cabahug, and Peter Aguilar had fruitful professions in the ace alliance.
So profound is this bunch third-round picks Jerry Ruiz, Salvador Ramos, Tony dela Cerna and Nandi Garcia and fourth-rounder Calvin Tuadles had PBA vocations to discuss and undrafted Bennett Palad went through three years in the class.
1993 PBA Draft
Top Pick: Jun Limpot (Sta. Lucia)
New kid on the block of the Year: Jun Limpot (Sta. Lucia)
First Rounders: Jun Limpot, Vic Pablo, Johnny Abarrientos, Dwight Lago, Benny Cheng, Johnedel Cardel, Boyet Fernandez, Dickie Bachmann
Succeeding Picks: Mike Mustre, Olsen Racela, Freddie Abuda, Max Delantes, Jack Santiago, Gee Abanilla
Jun Limpot was no ifs, ands or buts the top possibility in the 1993 class subsequent to winning three UAAP MVP grants with La Salle. He sure indicated that ability for Sta. Lucia and later Purefoods, where he won his solitary vocation title.
Be that as it may, it was a player picked two determinations later, Johnny Abarrientos, who ended up being the best result of this class, winning the 1996 MVP as he quarterbacked Alaska to an uncommon Grand Slam.
Beside the two, this bunch likewise created top abilities in Olsen Racela, Vic Pablo, Boyet Fernandez, Dickie Bachmann, Mike Mustre, Freddie Abuda, and ‘Distraught’ Max Delantes.
2006 PBA Draft
Top Pick: Kelly Williams (Sta. Lucia)
New kid on the block of the Year: Kelly Williams (Sta. Lucia)
First Rounders: Kelly Williams, Arwind Santos, Joseph Yeo, LA Tenorio, Gabby Espinas, Mark Isip, Aaron Aban, Mac Andaya, Boyet Bautista, Abby Santos
Succeeding Picks: Jireh Ibanes, RJ Rizada, Ronjay Enrile, Christian Luanzon, Magnum Membrere
Everyone anticipated Kelly Williams and Arwind Santos to do incredible things in the PBA, and with them being taken with the initial two picks in the 2006 Draft, much to their dismay that their vocations will perpetually be entwined.
Williams got the headstart, winning the Rookie of the Year praises before guiding Sta. Lucia to the 2008 Philippine Cup that made him that season’s MVP plum. His vocation took a short mishap after the Fil-Am was determined to have thrombocytopenia, however he won five additional titles in a lifelong resurrection at TnT.
Tardy as Santos’ run might be, that lone set him up for more prominent things. Exchanged from Air21 to San Miguel, the double cross UAAP MVP went on to at long last catch the MVP grant in 2013 as he was an essential piece of the Beermen’s line during the 2010s and won nine PBA titles, remembering five straight for the all-Filipino meeting.
The 2006 group, notwithstanding, is something other than Williams and Santos.
Joseph Yeo was obviously perhaps the best scorer during his time, Gabby Espinas and Mark Isip were key job players any place group they wound up in, and how might we overlook LA Tenorio, who stays at the pinnacle of his forces for Ginebra.
2004 PBA Draft
Top Pick: Rich Alvarez (Shell)
New kid on the block of the Year: Rich Alvarez (Shell)
First Rounders: Rich Alvarez, James Yap, Marc Pingris, Ranidel de Ocampo, Sonny Thoss, Denver Lopez, Ervin Sotto, Bitoy Omolon, Wesley Gonzales, Gary David

Rich Alvarez was touted to be a distinct advantage the minute he showed up in the association, and which is all well and good, as he won the Rookie of the Year respects in 2005 with Shell.
Be that as it may, it was the subsequent in general pick James Yap who took his game to extraordinary statures. Taking the light from Purefoods legend Alvin Patrimonio, Yap grasped being the new substance of the establishment as he won the MVP plums in 2006 and 2010 while catching seven titles en route, featured by a fabulous hammer in 2014.
After them, Marc Pingris, Ranidel de Ocampo, Sonny Thoss, and Gary David all had strong vocations of their own, while additionally gaining callups to the national group.
Paul Artadi and Willy Wilson likewise ended up being jewels, getting a charge out of decent runs notwithstanding sliding to the second round.
2003 PBA Draft
Top Pick: Mike Cortez (Alaska)
New kid on the block of the Year: Jimmy Alapag (Talk ‘N Text)
First Rounders: Mike Cortez, Rommel Adducul, Eddie Laure, Harvey Carey, Brandon Cablay, Billy Mamaril, Enrico Villanueva, Marlon Legaspi, Reynel Hugnatan, Jimmy Alapag
Succeeding Picks: Sunday Salvacion, John Ferriols, Cyrus Baguio, Ronald Tubid
The Cool Cat might be taken first, however the Mighty Mouse had the last chuckle.
Everyone’s eyes were on Mike Cortez and Jimmy Alapag as they bannered the 2003 class, and legitimately so as they introduced themselves as the future for Alaska and Talk ‘N Text, separately. The two coordinated everybody’s desires, with Cortez winning two for the Aces before including another in his time with San Miguel, and Alapag brought home six rings on his 2011 MVP grant.
Rommel Adducul was ready to be a future star in the group and quickly won two titles with Ginebra before a nasopharynx malignant growth eased back his profession down.
It’s a class loaded up with strong pinions, with Eddie Laure, Harvey Carey, Billy Mamaril, Enrico Villanueva, and Reynel Hugnatan all figuring in the first round, while Sunday Salvacion, John Ferriols, Cyrus Baguio, and Ronald Tubid all getting a charge out of strong runs regardless of being taken in the second round.
2011 PBA Draft

Succeeding Picks: Magi Sison, Pamboy Raymundo, Eric Salamat, Gilbert Bulawan
The “Shrewd Gilas” draft demonstrated an abundance of ability, yet it was Paul Lee – the main non-national cooperative person taken in the best five – who brought home the Rookie of the Year praises and stays as the main piece of the class to bring home the Best Player of the Conference grant. He did inevitably win a Gilas callup.
In spite of that, the group stays a’s who of top stars in the PBA today, from JVee Casio, Marcio Lassiter, Mark Barroca, to Allein Maliksi.
994 PBA Draft
Top Pick: Noli Locsin (Tondena 65 Rhum)
New kid on the block of the Year: Boybits Victoria (Swift)
First Rounders: Noli Locsin, Rey Evangelista, Boybits Victoria, Richie Ticzon, Poch Juinio, Merwin Castelo, Noynoy Falcasantos, Vince Hizon
Succeeding Picks: Wilmer Ong, Cris Bolado, Peter Naron, Udoy Belmonte

From first rounders in Rey Evangelista, Boybits Victoria, Richie Ticzon, Poch Juinio, and Vince Hizon to second adjust choices in Wilmer Ong and Cris Bolado (who won 11 titles across seven groups), this cluster were all champs.
2001 PBA Draft
Top Pick: Willie Miller (Red Bull)
New kid on the block of the Year: Mark Caguioa (Ginebra)
First Rounders: Willie Miller, Mike Hrabak, Mark Caguioa, Gilbert Demape, John Arigo, Kiko Adriano, Norman Gonzales, Marvin Ortiguerra, Roger Yap, Joey Mente
Succeeding Picks: Ricky Calimag, Jojo Tangkay, Mon Jose, Allan Salangsang, Dominic Uy, Francis Zamora, Peter June Simon, Topex Robinson, Allen Patrimonio
Huge things were normal from Willie Miller and Mark Caguioa, and they did, driving their groups to titles while winning MVP respects to their own.
Be that as it may, what made the 2001 stand apart were the uncommon discovers this clump introduced. From Roger Yap and Joey Mente being picked late in the first round, to draft takes Peter June Simon and Topex Robinson dropping to the extent the fifth round, this class indicated that there’s actually no assurance with regards to the draft.

PATRICIA ARAUJO (BFA 2005)
Patricia Araujo was born in Miami, Fl, the daughter of Colombian parents. Her father was an architect at Walt Disney and during his last years he assisted with the development of Epcot Center. Patricia grew up in Bogota, Colombia and since childhood, she was enchanted by architecture and form. After completing high school in Bogota, Araujo moved to Northern California to pursue her college education. She studied architecture, painting, and photography. In 2005 she obtained her B.F.A in Painting, from the San Francisco Art Institute.
For over a decade, Patricia Araujo has painted the facades of both iconic city landmarks and downtown buildings. Her paintings depict praiseworthy examples of San Francisco architecture, some utilitarian and others grandly ornamental. She's been bewildered by the architecture of cities she's lived and traveled to and by imaginary places.
From 2008 to 2010, she dedicated a series of works relating to Tomorrowland and as of most recent she's devoted to painting the architectural wonders and forgotten treasures of "GGIE" (the Golden Gate International Exposition of 1939 at Treasure Island) - the last World's Fair of San Francisco Bay. Her interest in researching the urban landscape continues to grow, addressing the evolution and decay within a city.
Araujo continues to deepen her conceptual themes on architecture, place and change in the urban landscape. She has been exhibiting in San Francisco since 1998. Some of the venues exhibited include: Arc Gallery, Arttitud, Bayview Opera House, HANG ART, Roll Up Gallery, STUDIO Gallery, the Old Emporium, Pen Club Gallery in Budapest and most recent at the Old Mint with Treasure Island Museum.
In 2008, she published her first book, entitled ”SOMA SEEN”. Her work has been written about in the San Francisco Chronicle, ARTslant, 7x7 SF, Huffington Post, Examiner, Beyondchron, and the San Francisco Bay Guardian. She lives and works in the San Francisco Bay Area.

SETH LOWER (MFA 2008)
Units contains photographs taken from 1994–2017. The images depict a variety of everyday materials and situations, many seen in sets, parts, or multiples. Within such scenes, Lower seeks out a kind of integrity (or lack thereof): standards of measurement, materiality, vague questions about the boundaries of entities and experience.
A sign swallowed by tree bark, a small collection of funnels, a stove for sale in the sunshine. Where does one unit end and the other begin? It is certainly possible to be part of the whole and at the same time separate, existing with a foot in both worlds, but does this say anything about the units themselves, or only the way we define them?
Graham Harman writes that such pieces are ‘terminal points, closed-off neighborhoods that retain their local identity despite the broader systems into which they are partly absorbed’.
